I don't know why all of the negative reviews?! Every time that I have been there Manny had been there and we were always treated with the great customer service. I do not know how it is when he isn't there (??but I will be sure to let you know) To be honest with you, the customer service is why I like shopping here. This place is a nightmare! Someone gave me a gift from This place that doesn't fit, I've tried to take it back to exchange several times but they are always closed. The hours listed are a joke. The building says Manny but the stores receipt says Foot Express. I started to see they had erratic hours, so I called to see what time they were closing on this particular day. The guy that answered said 4pm even thought the site had 6pm. I showed up at 3pm and what do you know? They were closed! read more

Timberland website states that I can take my timberland pro boots into a timberland store / authorized reseller for a complimentary cleaning and conditioning. I came to foot express as it was listed as a participating store. Unfortunately, the foot express employees did not seem to know anything about and refused to honor it even though I was reading the info straight from the website on my phone. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Everything is unorganized and I could not tell the employees from the drug dealers. I asked an employee for assistance in picking out an outfit for my son. When the guy started helping me , some big rude guy yells out from across the room, "help him first" pointing at another customer. But I had entered the store first. Then pain checking out I placed the items on the counter that I wanted. He grabbed the shirts and I picked up the pants because I was unsure if I wanted them. True, this place has a lot of kicks...but service is absolutely terrible. They charged my gf $75 over retail for a pair of Nikes. Yes, they were limited, but $75 is a bit excessive. On top of that, they presell shoes to some people, and claim no knowledge of the shoe they are preselling to others (like myself). Although this place carries a lot of different shoes they still be too high and customer service can be a lot better. I believe if "they don't know you" they don't mess with you(hookup). Therefore non regulars get poor service when it in fact it should be the other way around and non regulars should get the better service, so returning will be higher. Therefore better business. Duh. I Love Nikes and Jordans and this place keeps my wallet open at Franchise shoes places like Foot Locker and Champs. I want to spread it out but Foot Express/Mannys makes it hard to shop there. If you don't care about high prices on a high volume selection of shoes n poor customer service then Foot Express is the place for you. Walked in right before closing time. The staff was helpful and did not mind that I kept them there late. Even after they closed and locked the door, they still let customers in when they knocked. Kopped those Air P2 Sprites, didn't get that "Out The Door Price", but that was my first time going to see those guys at Foot Express. Freddy helped me, and was cool about it. I came to Mannys after a long night at work. I was buying an outfit for a concert I was going to attend. I think they thought I was going to steal because i was constantly being followed and watched. It was noticeable that I was being watched. I spent about $350 and as I left out the door, the alarm went off. About 6 guys crowd around the door thinking I had stole something. This is after I spent $350. The guy says "I better had left a sensor on the sweater." So after all the guys came out and he removed the sensor I got no apology. I just didn't get a good vibe from the place. I work too hard for my money to be treated like a criminal in a mom and pop store. I'm good will never go back or recommend this place. Not sure how people could put up a bad review about this spot. Like others said the selection of shoes is one of the best in the Bay Area. These dudes have it all from the regular releases to the limited. the selection is crazy. Can't think of anywhere else that has Play Cloths, Pink Dolphin, LRG, True Religion and then get every nike and Jordan release to go along with that. Not sure if some of the people reviewing have actually been to this store but all of my experiences have been excellent. Knowledgeable staff that actually know about kicks and whats in, not like going to Foot Locker and employees that just want commission and know nothing of the items they push on you.
