My husband and I went to Doc B's to meet up with a group of friends and to celebrate his birthday. My husband made a reservation in advance for our party. Upon arrival we talked with the hostess and she told us where to go to meet up with our friends at our table. After awhile a waiter came over and took our drink order. He was friendly and did a great job the entire time. We waited for our whole party to arrive and then we eventually placed our order. My husband and I decided to share some Nachos. For my main dish I ordered the West Coast Steak Sandwich and my husband ordered the Petite Filet Mignon. The nachos were good. I enjoyed the combination of ingredients. The West Coast Steak Sandwich was delicious. It was cooked perfectly. I got it with a side of crispy jalapeno potatoes. The potatoes were flavorful. I tried my husband's steak and it was really good. It was cooked the way my husband ordered it. He ordered his steak with a side of crispy jalapeno potatoes as well. As part of my husband's birthday celebration we ordered a slice of the Cinnamon Toast Crunch Cheesecake. The cheesecake was so good. It tasted exactly like Cinnamon Toast Crunch. It was the perfect finish to our meal. Overall Doc B's had a nice atmosphere, great service, and delicious food.

First time coming here, and we loved this place. We were visiting from California and our family brought us here. I liked the entire area of where this restaurant is located. The service was amazing, the food was excellent and the ambiance was very nice. I liked that fact that the ambiance had an elegant setting to it, while also having a relaxing setting as well. I thought that was great. The food was on point and very good. No one in my party had complaints and we definitely want to come back again, when we visit. Great work!

We ordered several dishes to share, and overall, there were quite a few things I really enjoyed. Simply Grilled Salmon - Fileted salmon served with Parmigiano Reggiano kale and vinaigrette tomatoes. The salmon was nicely grilled, but I found the kale dressing a little too sour for my taste. Kung Pao Brussels Sprouts - Brussels sprouts with a sweet soy glaze and honey-roasted peanuts. Good combination of sweet and savory flavors. Their "Famous" Candied Bacon - good! This was my favorite dish of the meal. Sweet, savory, crunchy and delicious. Marinated Chicken Kebabs - Served with cilantro rice and a side of cucumber & feta salad. The portion was generous enough to share. Rigatoni with the 1-lb. Angry Meatball - A fun dish. Parking is easy and convenient at the garage. Overall, a good spot for a group meal since there are plenty of dishes to share.

Yep! I confirm this place is still soooo good! It's consistent for a chain and I appreciate that. Mac n cheese is still the best I've ever had and one day I'll bribe someone to give me the recipe. Lololol. I tried the #6 chicken sandwich lightly fried and juicy with pickles, garlic aioli and a hot honey sauce. Delish!!!!! I appreciate this place for what it is. Nothing too fancy but a little class and consistent goodness.

Late dinner with a bestie to catch up. Bartender, Jasmine took care of us. The food is fresh from salads, hamburgers, & bowls caught my interest. Great date place with outside patio. The domain dog friendly so they are welcomed. Very clean & Jasmine checked on us periodically & told us a joke to personalize our service.

Our experience at Doc B's was wonderful. The staff was so friendly and attentive, every time we ordered an item it would be delivered in the blink of an eye (hot & extremely fresh)! We ordered the house made quac to start and the sweet potato chips were such a welcome change. Then I had the chicken kebabs which again were so flavorful and delicious! Will absolutely return to this restaurant!

We grabbed lunch at Doc B's Restaurant, which is located in the Domain Shopping Plaza (Northside). Garage parking nearby. Walking up to the restaurant, you can see their outdoor patio area with seating. Upon entering the restaurant, you are warmly greeted by your hostesses/hosts and escorted to your table. The interior was modern, nicely decorated, with a huge full bar with seats too. Multiple (4) single-user unisex restrooms. A casual eatery where it wasn't too noisy and you could hear your own tables conversation. Madi was our server and she took excellent care of us. She was friendly, attentive, and had a wonderful smile. You could tell she gave all her customers this great service. One coworker ordered the Rigatoni With their 1 Lb. Angry Meatball: A 1 lb "Angry" Meatball served over a bed of rigatoni with broccoli and crushed red pepper (4/5). Tasty, filling, and flavorful meatball. The rigatoni was cooked al dente so it had a nice bite. Two of my coworkers ordered the Chimichurri Steak: flat iron or top sirloin served with a side of french fries and a little baby salad. Both said, "it was very good!" I ordered the Simply Grilled Salmon: Fileted in house and daily served with a side of remoulade sauce and choice of side (I took what it usually is served with, which was the Kale Slaw: reggiano vinaigrette). Also, the salmon is cooked to medium. 4/5. A simple yet flavorful dish. I was hoping for a larger portion but I got the tail end of the salmon. Nonetheless, it was delicious. Support your local business.

This place was soooooo good. Went for dinner on a Saturday night and it was delicious. The servers were also very good. Repeatedly checked on us. Manager as well. Cool location. Would definitely return. For appetizers tried the candied bacon, the angry meatball and the teriyaki wings. Would absolutely recommend the bacon and wings. The meatball was like a meatloaf but still good with the garlic bread. For entrees we had the buttermilk chicken, my son had a burger, and his mom had the chicken kabob. My son likes his burger plain but they added cheese. The manager immediately apologized, got him another and took it off the bill. We didn't even complain. Just asked for another one fully expecting to pay. Just too notch treatment. Everything was super delicious. Great experience here. We sat inside but the outdoor looked very comfortable also. Not too loud. There's a huge bar to sit at. When I get back to Austin they will be on my list again.

Fancy casual? Upscale chill? It's hard to describe but overall, I'd say it's a special occasion place that isn't stuffy. You'll certainly pay for it, but at least you're getting high-quality food and drinks. I absolutely adore the grilled artichokes, which don't need the tartar sauce because they're already so rich and flavorful, but it kills me that it's $20 for a starter with 4 trimmed halves. The guacamole with sweet potato chips is also superlative, and reasonably substantial in terms of portion size and satiation. For the best value, definitely hit up the lunch menu, where you can get a "wok out" bowl with tofu; a highly competent vegan option. I only go once every year or two, but service is always on point and I never walk away unhappy with my meal. Just make sure you have the budget for it!

It was my first time dining here and I found it to be a really cool and chill vibe. The food and drinks were pretty good and service was ok. I was under the impression that there would be live music but that was not the case...at least not on Wednesday. Overall it was a good experience and location is pretty cool too.

I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was great. The burger was average, although it was slightly undercooked. The fries were a bit soggy. My mom ordered the jalopeano potatoes, and those were delicious.

So much yum! Brussels sprouts were a total hit for the appetizer. My California salad with crispy chicken was a dream. I hope to recreate this salad at home - so tasty! Server was polite and friendly. We scored a corner booth which was cozy and great for hearing everyone around the table.

Doc B's has been outstanding lately. Everything was so tasty and well balanced. The staff is very pleasant and does a great job as far as service goes. 10/10 recommend coming here and trying my favorite plate the chicken kebabs I personally substitute the rice on the and get jalapeno potatoes but there is nothing wrong with the rice everything is well executed. Any of the pizzas and the chimichurri chicken wings paired together is a good sharing option in my experience. Our favorite appetizer is simply the guacamole with sweet potato chips ,it's refreshing and not overly filling so you can still enjoy your entree. The restaurant ambience is a little loud because it's always packed and there is an option to sit outside but I personally like being inside because you get a little better attention from the servers. Everting is clean and well kept and the drinks here are very good. You will never leave hungry and there really isn't anything I wouldn't recommend trying. I can say that the prices are comparable to anything else in the domain but you get great quality for what you pay at Doc B's . Don't let all the variety at the domain hold you back from coming here it's a solid choice and I've been to every restaurant here. I'd say top5 for sure. Parking is a bit of a nuisance like most places here so be ready to walk if you have too.

Had not been to this restaurant in a good while, and was a last minute decision. Good choice. From the very beginning, I worked with Tra, the event coordinator. He did an amazing job and was incredibly patient with me because I can be a little picky and indecisive! He listened to what I wanted, answered all my questions, and always guided me in the right direction. Everything came together beautifully. Heaven was the lead on the day of the party, and she was fantastic--warm, helpful, and always making sure everything ran smoothly. Everyone we encountered was so kind and welcoming. Cale was our server, and he truly went above and beyond. We kept him very busy with a party of 25, but he handled it all with a great attitude. He was hardworking, personable, and just an incredibly nice guy. The food and drinks were amazing. I only wish I had been able to eat more myself, but all of our guests raved about everything! Most importantly, my husband was genuinely surprised, and everyone had a wonderful time. Catarina, the general manager, followed up with me afterward to make sure I was happy with the service and how everything went. She was amazing as well, and I truly appreciated her taking the time to personally check in with me. The atmosphere was fun and lively, and the entire event was exactly what I had hoped for. I highly recommend Culinary Dropout for a private event--especially working with Tra, Heaven, Cale, and Catarina. We will definitely be back, although next time it may just be for a relaxed afternoon to watch a game, enjoy the food and drinks, take in the great atmosphere, and give Tra, Heaven, and Cale a much-needed break from my party-planning craziness! Perfect Birthday Celebration at Roaring Fork!…read more On Sunday I celebrated my birthday at Roaring Fork with my family, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The food was outstanding, and the view overlooking the quarry made the evening even more special. One of our favorite perks was that Happy Hour is available all day on Sundays. We started with a traditional margarita, a mango margarita, and a few mocktails, all of which were excellent. For appetizers, we shared the shrimp cocktail, fresh guacamole, and chicken flatbread. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and a great way to begin the meal. For our entrées, I ordered the cedar-planked salmon with miso soy glaze, and it was absolutely delicious. The salmon was perfectly cooked and practically melted in my mouth. My partner enjoyed the same dish and loved it as well. My youngest daughter ordered the New York strip steak with mashed potatoes, her boyfriend chose the ribeye steak with French fries (they definitely have expensive taste!), and my other daughter had the grilled rainbow trout. Every dish was beautifully prepared and thoroughly enjoyed. The red wine paired perfectly with our meal, and the staff graciously allowed us to bring a birthday cake, which made the celebration even more memorable. Between the exceptional food, beautiful atmosphere, great drinks, and attentive service, it was the perfect birthday celebration. I highly recommend Roaring Fork for a special occasion or a relaxing Sunday meal with family and friends.

More and more, going out to eat in the U.S. has been a disappointing, underwhelming experience. I…read moreunderstand that time is money and that waiters and waitresses are working for their tips, but it truly sucks that it has become so difficult to actually enjoy your time in a restaurant, to just sit and relax without feeling this underlying rush. It's something that seems perfectly possible in pretty much every other country but the U.S. The moment you sit down, the waiter asks what they can get for you. They handed you the menu three seconds ago. There was absolutely no time to glance through it, evaluate your options, or discuss them with whoever you're sharing the table with. This happened at Roaring Fork, but it also happens 95% of the time I go out to dinner. Then the food comes, you eat, say no to dessert, and voilà: the check is waiting for you! Again, you can't just sit back and relax, take your time deciding whether you want dessert, maybe order a coffee or another drink. They want you out of there ASAP, and somehow you're still expected to tip 20%, which is ludicrous, but this is another conversation. Now, specifically regarding Roaring Fork, I do wonder what actually constitutes a "fancy" place. What is it? The view of the lake isn't exactly impressive. The inside is cute. Does having a cute interior make a place fancy, is that it? Or is it the high-priced menu? There's no bread offered at the table, nothing particularly special. I am genuinely lost when it comes to what makes a place "nice" these days.
