Tried the 4 pack churro, coffee cake, double chocolate and carrot cake.

Came back today! Got the 4 pack. Mario the owner was here. Thanked us for coming back! My favorite was the carrot and my husband was the double chocolate. Wish they had drinks.

Customer service was awesome - super friendly and answered all our questions. Went to the store in Oceanside - plenty of parking right up front. Cute pink shop with photo ops And tons of "Shark Tank" accolades. I'm torn on the taste, though. these are glazed/sweetened using monk fruit which to me is too sweet. The bread texture isn't too bad, although I think the different flavors all taste the same just with a different glaze. Looks more tasty than they really are. Less carbs than regular donuts so it's a great alternative for a sweet treat for diabetics so that's a plus. They are kind of the pricey side too.

Celiacs and diabetics rejoice! We learned about Doatnut long before the Shark Tank hype. These are not your typical donuts but they have definitely satisfied our cravings during our weight loss journey. We've shared their flavors with friends & family...Red Velvet & Churro being our favorites. I'm bummed about the negative reviews but we gotta take all reviews with a grain of salt. I will say that the doatnuts travel well as I brought some to my family (5 hour drive) and we happily indulged. I think it's safe to say that the slight cooling effect from the icing is the endothermic reaction from erythritol: a sugar substitute that can be added to monk fruit extract to reduce concentration. I actually enjoy the sensation as it gives new meaning to 'icing'. We love supporting small businesses and will be back to this cute bakery for more!

I have been following this place on instagram for over a year. Finally made it in person here. Doatnuts are great here because they are super healthy, gluten free and taste so good. They change flavors every week. This week I was lucky to get hold of tiramisu and Lemon Meringue! So delicious. Place is small in a shopping with good parking. Grab and go with your dougnuts. Customer Service is excellent. We took two dozens home, worth the drive!

So I discovered this place on Instagram and as a diabetic I knew I had to go. I was skeptical, sugar free goodies are either a huge hit or a miss and this fell in between, depending on the flavor. My family was taking a vacation in Carlsbad and we weren't far so it felt like the perfect time to go, there's 4 diabetics in my family so we had to try one of each plus some extras of flavors we thought we might really like. We got 15 Doatnuts, including one I got for free from spending so much. Honestly, the price didn't bother me. Sugar free or specialty items tend to be a bit more but what did bother me was the consistency of the icing. As soon as it was in my mouth, it completely dissolved and left this weird film. I'll be the first to say, sugar free doughnuts are hard to replicate so for what they are, they're just okay. They're definitely not the consistency of a regular doughnut, more so like bread and depending on who you are or what you like, you'll either love these or hate these. My dad absolutely loved every single one and couldn't get enough whereas the lot of us didn't really care for them but you should still try it out and see for yourself. The orange cream and red velvet were our faves outta the bunch. The service was fast, and super friendly. It was a cute spot, no tables or chairs inside (it was also super hot in there, too) but there was a bench outside. It's definitely a take and go kinda spot.

This place is honestly a hidden gem! With these amazing gluten/guilt free donuts, the owner even made it onto the show Shark Tank!! You can spot this place across the street as it screams pink and I love it! They come out with unique flavors and I am always watching out for my favorite, the ube doatnut! Each visit I've had the staff checking me out is always friendly. This is a family owned business so you'll even sometimes see the owners kids helping out! Come check it out, it is worth the visit!

Amazing my husband did discover it and we are now all hooked on dOATnut! I am French so not so easy to please as for food it is.

We loved it they are light and tasty my favorite is the Churro one my husband the Chocolate one and the boys the Red Velvet! Great job team

I happened upon this place while looking for a gluten free bakery. I have to say that I love the concept! Healthy, certified gluten free, low-sugar donuts. Kimmy's husband helped me and was very informative of their company and gave me the run down. The shop is small, essentially just the counter, but it's very cute inside. They're very moist donuts, I just personally don't like monk fruit. I think this is a great idea and I enjoyed the chocolate one the most. If you are looking for a gluten free experience of a traditional donut this is not that donut; however these are an excellent healthier alternative for those of us who are limited in our diets while desiring a sweet treat.

Wow, I love dessert and oats but was really not a fan of this Doatnut place in any way. The service is gross. They are really slow so a sloth employee wanders out and stares at you. I expect more from a small business trying to make it. The ambiance is hot pink. Lots of pictures of who I assume is the owner. The product itself tastes artificial. It's drowned in a sugar substitute that burns your throat. Horrible aftertaste. After trying this a couple times (once bought for me and once going there), I can say I wouldn't try this again.

This is how they came.

I really, really wanted to like these. I'm sure they are probably better if you get them in person however, I had them shipped. I tracked the package, took a long time, they were loaded on a UPS truck at 8am and arrived to my house at 9pm (so a LONG time on a UPS truck). This is food which is perishable so I would assume that it would be shipped in protective packaging with some kind of cooling element; nope, they came in a thin, flat box, each donut was in a plastic container with no labels, didn't know what doatnut was what, they actually all looked the same as ALL the icing was melted off, they were gooey and tasted like they went "bad" during shipping, had to throw them out, $40 bucks down the drain. Such a bummer, they really need to figure out a better way to ship or don't ship at all, you can see by the reviews that they can't get their shipping together. :(

My fiancée & I had seen Parlor Doughnuts numerous times after the Oceanside Sunset Market. & every single 1 of those times, we were already too full from grazing at all the food stands by then to give it a try. So on a Saturday afternoon, when we just happened to be nearby, we popped in for some impulse buy doughnuts. With a staggering variety of delicious looking toppings/ flavors, the possibilities looked enticingly intriguing. Staff behind the counter was friendly attentive, & helpful. Although there are some savory options available, which seemed to me like pizza toppings on doughnuts, we stuck with sweet: maple bacon & bourbon caramel. Tried & true flavor combinations, both. But the dough, whoa. For starters, the 2 doughnuts we got didn't have holes. That actually makes a difference in how the doughnut cooks. Secondly, the dough ate more like bread dough than a doughnut. Doughnuts have a hole for a reason. You see, it's physics, son. When you consider how thermodynamics affects an oblate spheroid vs. a toroidal sphere, it becomes evident that a doughnut without a hole will not cook evenly throughout inside. In fact, this was specifically proven on MasterChef Canada Season 8, Episode 8 during a doughnut pressure test. In that episode, Andres forgot to put holes in his doughnuts & they were undercooked in the center. Hey, I did start this review with admitting I'm a nerd who watches too many cooking competition shows. Uniform doneness aside, there was also the breadiness. If I'd been told these doughnuts were some kind of new take on Pan Dulce, maybe I would've liked them more. But given the expectation of a doughnut, what I tried at Parlor Doughnuts just wasn't it. The staff was great, & the toppings were fine. But with the word "dough" literally in the name of the product, to come up short there leaves something to be desired.

I assume they make a certain amount and when they're gone they close and that's probably the way most places do it. Donuts were good, not greasy. What I really came for was the ham and cheese croissant but it was a little disappointing. Prices were actually much higher than I was expecting. We paid almost $20 for a ham and cheese croissant, blueberry cheese danish and 6 donuts including a cinnamon twist thing that I assume was supposed to be more than the others but I can't wrap my head around $18.30 for what we ordered. I legit think she charged me for 15 donuts instead of 5 cuz I saw something ring up as 15. Based off that I can confidently say I won't return. Items werent worth what I paid and if it was an error charge, the employee should have known that what I ordered was not close to $20 so I cant recommend this place
