I highly recommend Do it Right Plumbing for a lot of reasons. I had a very small job, replacing an outdoor patio faucet, and some plumbers I contacted didn't want to be bothered with a small five minute job. Do it Right Plumbing did have to reschedule me because their earlier job was running over, but they were great at giving me a heads up that they were running late, and they made it right by offering me a credit for my inconvenience. Once they came to do the job, they offered several different options to the repair and were flexible with their prices. The plumber, Darryl, was friendly, professional, and very skilled. I am extremely disappointed in the outcome of the visit to my house today. That is twice now that you have sent someone to my house that was unable to come up with a viable solution to the issue we are having. You are the PLUMBERS. You are supposed to know what you are doing and have experience in the industry to offer VIABLE solutions to solve my plumbing issue. I have lived in my house for almost 8 years and within the last month there has been a smell coming out of my drains. I called you because we trusted you and felt that you would be capable of offering a solution to our problem but I was gravely mistaken. There is clearly an issue going on and your only option was to charge me upwards of $1000 without any clear  guarantee that would solve the problem. I am not a plumber but drains don't just stink after years of NOT SMELLING. Your plumber basically told me there is nothing we can do and we essentially have to live with this smell unless we do all this insane diagnostic testing. I just purchased a new home and it needed some plumbing work. Darryl was sent out and he was fantastic. He took a look at everything I needed work on and offered me 8 different options. I decided based on his recommendations and research I did before he came out. Made an appointment on Monday to have a plumber come to my house on Wednesday in the morning to service a water softener. Plumber was supposed to arrive in the morning. At 2:45 I received a call telling my their plumbers were busy and would not be able to come today. But they could reschedule for Friday. Gee...thanks. Don't waste your time with this "company." I called and made an appointment for 2pm. David from Do It Right Plumbers called me around 11am and told me he was on his way to my home. I told him nobody was at home and I made the appointment at 2pm. He was informed he was coming to repair a hot water heater. I told him, no I purchased a new tankless water heater and needed it installed. At 2:15pm I called David to see if there was someone coming. He informed me that he was in a Zoom and tried to call me this morning, left messages for me and couldn't reach me so basically he gave up on me. I had an appointment set up between 8-12pm for a plumber to come and help with a water leak. Around 11:30am, I had no phone call from them or anything letting me know where the driver was. I called to check the status and was told they would need another hour and half because the plumber was held up on a previous job. I wait a hour and half, and still nothing. I call back again and I'm told the driver is 40 min away. I took work off so I could fix this leak issue and wasted my day waiting for nothing. Didn't know it was so difficult for this office staff to give a appropriate time range of service. Very incompetent people. Please don't do business with this company, waste of time and money. Additionally, I tried to ask for pricing to fix the water leak and they couldn't give me any estimate over the phone unless a $49 dollar visual inspection was completed first. I had another plumber install two new faucets in my home; one in a guest bathroom and one in the kitchen. Let's just say there were issues with the faucets and no help in the follow up. So, I called Do It Right Plumbers. Mr. Bill (yes, that is what his name tag read) was very nice. We did, indeed, have to replace the two brand new (one was a Moen) faucets with another two brand new faucets. They are not cheap. Nor was the cost to replace (again) the two faucets. Do It Right Plumbing is not inexpensive but sometimes you get what you paid for. Our faucets are running like a dream. We actually get cold water out of the kitchen sink again and both now have actual water pressure. So I am so thankful that it was actually installed correctly this time. Will we call them again? In a heartbeat! I also have to give a shoutout to Travis (I hope I remember his name correctly), my first contact and the guy who booked the appointment. He was awesome. I could go on for days raving about this company. Let me first thank each technician who came to my home & helped my family. Thank you to Chris Martinez, Amanda Wilson, Rey Navarro, Eddie Nova & Ricky Yamashiro. Also Jen & Tracy at the office for hearing me out! We had been dealing with a disgusting rotten egg odor in our home since July. In that time we received zero help from our home warranty & HOA in finding a solution. Keep in mind we have two young children ages 2 & 6 that have been taking in this odor. We had various inspections with pest control companies, the gas company, hvac companies, duct cleaning companies and other "plumbers". Through all of this we eliminated dead animal smells, duct issues & hvac issues. However, the other "plumbing" companies strongly dismissed one theory I had- a sewer odor gas leak. We were told no way, it's highly uncommon, etc. No one even wanted to investigate. At a boiling point, I found Do it Right Plumbers on Yelp. Thank God for them! The team came in & literally smelled what we have complained about. We took the approach of hydro-jetting the lines after a camera inspection! Yes this was the first company willing to do this without dismissing my claims. The lines were just gross & filled with debris. The team spent 3-4 hours jetting the lines & I recognized the sewer odor! I was not crazy! In addition, they removed all toilets & installed new seals. After this process the smell in our home drastically reduced! There was a connection! The next step was to conduct a smoke test in order to find a potential broken pipe in the walls. By the way, this has been the only company that shows respect to the homeowner with excellent customer service, even putting on booties in the home, vacuuming, etc. Outstanding! Orange County businesses lacking in customer service should learn from this company. Back to the story- Chris started the smoke test & within minutes smoke poured from the drywall in our bedroom closet! We even found the smoke in our attic near that spot. The wall was cut open and there it was-the broken sewer vent pipe!! Confirmed I was not crazy. Chris made the repairs very quickly, cleaned up & we are finally odor free!! I don't like to write negative reviews but this company deserves it, so I will. I was referred to them by Home Advisor. They were prompt to call, and schedule an appointment for an estimate. The first appointment went over by an hour an a half to two hours before I got the call that a tech was on his way. I rescheduled. The next appointment was over an hour late. The estimate I received was very high and there was a lot of salesmanship about how they aren't doing plumbing but a lot more which is why the cost was worth it. Complete nonsense. I don't understand the concept of paying more for doing what your supposed to do in the first place, the bare minimum. My company doesn't pay me more for doing my job day in and day out, that's just expected. Anyways an overpriced, and under delivering company. read more

I had used Do It Right for a previous project at our home and was very satisfied with their professional approach after having met with two other plumbing companies previously. For this project, we needed to have an exterior courtyard drain cleared of blockage. After first consulting with Damian on the drainage issues, Chris was sent out the next week. Like Damian, Chris was efficient and professional in addressing the problem, working from both ends of the drain to determine where the blockage occurred and how to remove it. The subgrade drainage system was connected and branched off in various directions providing its own challenges, but eventually the core blockage was located and removed. Afterwards, Chris used a camera to inspect the quality of the existing pipe system, and the footage of this was also sent to me afterwards. After the work was done, there was unimpeded drainage from the courtyard and everything was swept and cleaned of debris. Chris was professional throughout. Also would like to mention Franny and Summer for always keeping me well-informed on the status of scheduling. On this occasion, one of their cameras needed repair and the start date was pushed back. The both of them kept me immediately informed as soon as they received information from the repair shop which I am appreciative of. I called and spoke to Summer yesterday. I was frantic because there was a leak and I had a $600.00 water bill (bi-monthly). She scheduled me for today, waived the fee, and sent out Christian the tech. He was polite and found the problem right away. Christian also told me that it was a simple fix that could be done by any amateur thus saving me money on plumbing fees. He didn't have to be that honest but he was and I am so grateful. Mr. Bill, our assigned plumber, was right on time gave us an accurate estimate right up front, kept us informed and in the loop and up to date as he progressed. Very professional and a superb craftsman. These plumbers are higher priced than the others not only because of their excellent service but the quality of the parts that they use. The cut off valves that they used under our sink are absolutely fantastic as are the toilet valves that were used in our bathrooms. This stuff is built to last and it shows. So, in the long run, these plumbers are going to save you money because you won't need to see them again for a good, long time. I highly recommend Do It Right Plumbing. Ask for Francis and she will take good care of you. She is the go to person. Inform Francis to ask Damian to do the job if he is available. Damian has been to my house twice, two years ago to flush the tankless water heater and this week to inspect the water valve under the kitchen sink. I plan to have Damian return to replace to faucets which I will supply. Remember all quotes are negotiable and at this time there are coupons available. It touched my heart when Francis informed me at this time they were collecting 5 can goods in lieu of the $39 service charge. My apologies for this delayed review. I am currently going through a complete kitchen remodel which started January 9, 2017. I called "Do It Right Plumbers" in December for a Tankless Water Heater estimate. From the very beginning my interaction with this company was STELLAR!! I went through Home Advisor to find a professional and as soon as I pressed "Send" my home phone was ringing . Tristan from "Do It Right Plumbers" on the line. That was impressive from the start. We set up an appointment and Saul was dispatched to my home within 24 hours. Saul understood my needs and gave me 5 options for the size of heater I should consider. I was a little hesitant when I heard the cost of this project so he contacted his boss Edan whom spoke to me in a very calming tone and gave me a reasonable break on the cost , along with a wonderful financing option. I happily agreed to give them the business . Saul and Edgar showed up promptly @ 8:30am on December 26, 2016. They were both so very respectful of my home. My installation was a bit more involved than they had anticipated. But, nonetheless they forged ahead tirelessly. They had to come back a second day to complete the task, never showing any sign of frustration. Upon completion of my project on December 27, 2016, I was personally visited by Edan and Tristan. I chose to use Do it Right partly because of their name. I wanted our rain shower head to be done right. Come to find out the shower head was done using a wrong valve which caused it to drip badly. A tech who came out for another issue and who I asked to check the drip blew it off with some excuse about some valves not always working 100% and said the office would contact me. They never did. After reaching out to them they sent someone out who confirmed the wrong valve was used. They offered to fix it at no cost. It involved cutting open the drywall which they said would be repaired. A month later it's still not repaired! They have scheduled multiple appointments and not shown up or showed up but only looked at the hole and didn't actually fix it. Needless to say, the communication has been awful. They also incorrectly scheduled tankless wat heater flush (put it in their system at like 3 in the morning rather than the afternoon) so no one showed up for that appointment either. read more

SO nobody is calling a plumber because things are going great, right? We woke up to shower for work at 5:15am only to discover that our tankless hot water heater had died! No hot water. There are 5 (!) of us in our house, so needless to say, this was an emergency. We called about 10 plumbers and had very inconsistent follow through (3 never even showed. one came and said he needed to get something to do the estimate (?) and never returned. two said they would have a technician call and then never heard anything). Needless to say, we were panicked. Enter Do Right Plumbing: Called back, confirmed a time and then our hero Dakota showed up! Dressed in the company's spiffy old time-y uniform, he was super friendly and efficient, gave us a very reasonable quote, and COULD start right away! He dashed to get what he needed, he called TWICE to let us know where he was in the process of getting all of the needed supplies so we would know what was going on. Dakota returned and worked efficiently for several hours, occasionally giving us updates. He finished the job and BAM, we were back in business. We are customers for life!
