My family and I have lived in old town Orange going on for eight years and have been either burned or had bad experiences by other suggested companies in the area so I called Garrett's Plumbing based on suggestions from other neighbors on Nextdoor orange. Jeff answered on my first call and we set up an appointment for the following morning for a bath tub that was not draining and was bubbling up some disgusting smelly water in our one bathroom home. He showed up on time even though I was late, getting back to my house, he assessed the problem, and explained it to me in a way that I could understand. He gave payed out for me the possible issues and the costs associated before he began work. First solution didn't work so he had to climb up onto the roof but was able to fix the problem in under two hours. To top it off he was very understanding and sweet to my four-year-old son who wanted to be next to him watching and understanding every little thing he did. He even gave him an important job to do- TL to him on the roof when he saw the water going down in the bathtub. Very pleased! Jeff is my new best friend/hero/addition to the Christmas card list. This guy is as stubborn as the Rootzilla in our Main. He's incredible! My husband and I just purchased our first home, and have had nothing but problems with the plumbing since moving in. We found Jeff at Garrett's through our Home Warranty. Turns out a contractor dropped a piece of shower pipe down the exposed toilet pipe, and when it hit the tree roots also in our pipes, Armageddon ensued. Jeff has worked diligently to free our pipes, going in 4 hours now. I cannot speak more highly of any of the contractors we have used during the remodeling process. Jeff has earned my trust and a place on the speed dial. You should immediately add him to yours, too! If there was such a thing as a pantheon of plumbers, Jeff would be at the top. Jeff from Garrett's plumbing is a solid bet when it comes to your plumbing needs! I had 2 idiots prior that just band aid the leak. He is the 3rd plumber I called to fix the same problem. Needless to say..I've spent crap amount on the previous 2's incompetence. Jeff was great. Our water heater stop working on a Saturday night. Sunday I started to make calls to see who could come out on Monday.First place I called was busy and didn't have time till Tuesday which turned out to be a good thing because my second call was to Garrett's Plumbing and Jeff was so nice. I explained what the problem was and what my husband thought the issue might be. Jeff asked that I take a picture of my water heater and text it to him so he could see the type of heater I had. He called be back within 15 minutes of my text and explained what would need to be done. He was able to come out Monday morning at 9 am. I contacted several plumbing companies to have someone come out and inspect my main sewer line of a house that I was going to purchase. I had contacted for companies and did not receive a single call back. A friend recommended Jeff at Garretts plumbing. I called him and immediately got an answer.
