It's Saturday afternoon during Pacific Air Show weekend and we end up with a clogged toilet. I only found out my appointment had been canceled the evening before because **I contacted THEM**. Their representative claimed that Mike, their agent, had called and left me two voicemails. Funny--my call log showed no missed calls from Mike, and there were no voicemails from him either. Time for an update. Our garbage disposal was shot after 14 years, the motor burned out. The bottom of the cabinet smells like a burnt motor. I ordered a replacement from Amazon and had Olson Superior Plumbing give me a quote over the phone. They quoted a fair price over the phone for the installation, testing, etc. We had Joseph over and he did an amazing job. Upon arrival, he did an inspection of the all the sinks and drains in the house. You name it, kitchen, laundry, water heater, half bath, bath 1, bath 2, gas piping. Then went to work troubleshooting the old disposal unit (broken for sure) and everything around it. The buttons, outlet, etc. He took his time to install the new disposal and connect the dishwasher. After everything was installed, he did some tests to make sure everything was working properly. This is the 3rd time we had them over to our house to fix something. We went with Olson Superior Plumbing for a whole house repipe after discovering a slab leak. Coming to terms with the need for a repipe, and especially the cost of it, was definitely not a pleasant experience. Dealing with the Olson team, however, was A OK from start to finish. The repipe crew was extremely efficient and clearly knew what they were doing. Our house is pretty large, around 4,000 square feet, and they managed to complete the entire repipe in just a few days. Given the size and scope of the job, we were impressed with how quickly everything moved along. They also kept the work area, super clean by using plastic sheeting and taping everything down so there was minimal dust from all the holes they had to cut. They also did a pretty good job patching everything up, and areas where large holes were cut in walls were hard to see and more or less invisible after painting. A few weeks after the job, while cleaning out one of our kitchen cabinets, we discovered that one of the openings cut into the wall during the repipe had been missed during the patching. We contacted them, and they came back the very next day and took care of it. No hassle at all. Nobody wants to discover a slab leak or suddenly need a whole house repipe, but Olson made an unpleasant situation about as painless as it could be. Five stars for our repipe experience. read more

They charge obscene prices. Did work that wasn't warranted. Borderline elder abuse- took advantage of a senior woman who lives alone. Plus he was rude to my neighbor who asked him just to look at an issue he was having in the kitchen. Logan said, "No free looks". Then had his trainee look up a price. Told my neighbor it would be $800! Neighbor naturally said, "Forget it". Logan said he could fix my leak, but then he couldn't due to an obstruction. So he said my toilet leaked. They replaced the flange. We checked it before and there was no water coming from it to the kitchen. A different guy, from another company, came by this morning. Hired them to fix a broken pipe by another plumber. I called another plumber to clear a clogged shower drain yesterday. This plumber started to use his screw driver to try to "clear" the blockage with stabbing motions. Had him stop and leave. Tested the drain and then I had a leak. Called Olsen and they sent Logan and Luis. They did a great job. Very communicative and advised me every step of the way. They replaced the pipes to my bathtub. Beware of any company that won't give you an estimate upfront. Over the phone they said they needed to diagnose the replacement. ??? Should have know then. Job was for replacement of a failed appliance where no other problems existed besides the failed appliance. Simple removal and replacement. I wasn't going to put my tenant out of another Saturday so I reluctantly approved the work. To make sure they weren't inconvenienced and taken care of. The plumber then tried to up sell me on some type of combination valve because he claimed they're bad because the water comes out hot on the cold side. Is it the valve or because it's 100 degrees outside and the pipes run through the attic? After you run the water for a 30sec it cools off.....try some other plumbing company that gives up front pricing. read more

Unfortunately, during one of the visits, my wall was damaged. I called multiple times and was repeatedly told the company would take care of it, but nobody ever followed through. Jacob deserves credit for his work, but the company's lack of follow-up and failure to take responsibility for the damage was extremely disappointing. josh did a fantastic job on a nightmare of a situation that seemed at first to be straightforward. we moved into a new place and the only thing that was cited by the inspection report was that the casita shower was difficult to turn and to seek a plumber. well, it turns out that soon after the inspection, we lost all hot water. should have been a simple cartridge replacement, but no...unfortunately the previous job was a hatchet job with the guy using loctite which made it so difficult to remove the old parts. add in major calcification, and josh had his work cut out for him. unfazed, josh did a great job and spent hours on the job, eventually getting everything done without having to replace the valve (which would have been over a grand to do) and installing a brand new cartridge and control knob. fantastic work...highly recommended, and josh had the patience of a saint. read more
