I have been confounded for months by a plumbing issue at the house where only a single shower in the house was constantly fluctuating between hot and cold water. I researched and was advised by some other tankless water heater companies to clean the tankless gas water heater's filter or change the shower cartridge (greatest nightmare DIY task of all). I cleaned the filter and replaced the cartridge to no avail. Finally, I caved and called Drain Town Rooter based on a friend's recommendation. Ryan came out, saw there were no error codes on the water heater, diagnosed the issue in a few minutes, and educated me that tankless water heaters have certain water volume requirements in order to trigger the heating mechanism. He took one look at the volume of water coming out of our showerhead and figured out the problem. He cleared the showerhead for us and the problem was instantly fixed. Hot showers have returned without fear of a cold shock and even the water pressure is back to normal. All of this to say, I highly recommend Drain Town Rooter for any plumbing issues. Long story short. Would not recommend this company. Our upstairs shared shower drain in our townhouse needed to be cleared and the cost was rather high with no results that fixed it. They came out to price reconnecting my dishwasher. Gave me a price, but recommended replacing the dishwasher since it's old. I took the advice and bought a new one. Didn't have it connected with delivery cuz the price I'd been quoted was less $. When I called Drain Town to come connect it took several tries to get someone to come do it. When they came out, it was a different service man because the original guy was " in the hospital " I can certainly understand things happen. The problem I have is that this new guy now charged me more than double the original quote because he said he needed a bunch of extras the other guy hadn't included. He said he had to make a trip to hardware store for supplies as well. Who knows? But it all seemed suspicious to me. We had a tiny leak under the sink when we used the dishwasher so called and they did come out and fix the problem. read more

George came out to fix a slow drain up in our shower. After correcting it in a timely matter, he went to the downstairs cleanout for that line and discovered that our 2' pipe was only opened like the size of a quarter after trying to put his camera in. He called another team member out with a smaller camera and we discovered the extremely clogged drain. The company's guys proceeded to open the drain only to find that we had three cracks in the line with holes in the pipe. Needless to say, they called out another team member who had to do extensive cleaning and then had to epoxy the pipe so no leaks could take place under our concrete slab. Our home was built in 1965. George, along with the team members were very professional, clean, and on time. They came, scoped the line and did a massive cleaning job of the piping; went above and beyond. Due to the nice service the first time around, we called them again for another job. An overdue review but I had a new Heat Pump Water Heater with Drain Town in February 2024. Overall great experience with this company. They do thorough clean work and eager to earn your business. Consultation: Dakota came within 2-3 days of me submitting an inquiry for a new Heat Pump Water Heater. Told him my preferences and plans to reroute water lines and actual unit into my garage. I had a lot of inquiries regarding models, efficiency, and what needed to be done on my end. Dakota and his team definitely have their recommendations but I did a significant amount of research in what specific models I wanted installed. I was sitting on a few quotes and Dakota had reached out and his receptiveness to my inquiries, concerns, and timing won me over. Installation: I would like to preface there ended up being some complications(to no one's fault) during my install so instead of having my work done within 2 days it ended up being 2.5 days. Dakota was unable to start installation however he was able to finish up on the final day. Work was clean, to my preferences, and to spec with Santa Ana permit code.
