We needed help. Our kitchen drain decided it had has enough! It went on strike and walked out on us at the worse time. We asked our plumber who he can recommend and he referred us to Zoom. Ian was able to come out the same day gave our drain an offer it could not refuse (Key The Godfather music). The drain caved into him and now our drain is back to work with no complaints! Extremely disappointed -- this company flooded my home and has failed to resolve the damage for months. Zoom Drain was hired and paid upfront to perform plumbing services at my property before Thanksgiving. During their work, they left the water on, which caused severe flooding throughout the home and destroyed my newly installed flooring. No one else was present but Zoom workers. The home was vacant and rent-ready prior to this incident. Initially, Zoom Drain refused to take responsibility for the damage they caused. Responsibility was only acknowledged later, after we were forced to stand our ground. This was an extremely stressful and pressured situation that should never happen to a customer whose home has just been damaged by a contractor's negligence. Zoom Drain selected the flooring company for remediation. That company came once to inspect and take samples. Since then, we have experienced weeks of delays, missed follow-ups, "next week" promises, no samples delivered, days with no response, and absolutely no progress. As of the end of January, we still do not have our flooring replaced. Because of this failure to remediate, I cannot show the home, have had to pull all rental advertisements, and am continuing to suffer loss of rental income. I have repeatedly requested insurance information, a claims contact, and a clear timeline. None have been provided. Calls and messages often go unanswered. I have sent multiple written notices, including a detailed letter dated December 10 outlining the events, followed by a formal final demand letter. These have largely been ignored. If this matter is not resolved immediately, I will be filing a complaint with the California State License Board (CSLB) and pursuing all other available remedies. No homeowner should have to chase a plumbing company for months after their negligence causes major property damage. Mistakes can happen. What matters is how a company responds. Leaving a customer with a damaged, uninhabitable home for months without resolution is unacceptable. This review will be updated once Zoom Drain takes full responsibility and the damage is properly remediated. read more

We had a massive clog in our kitchen sink that the plumbing company couldn't snake, so they referred us to Sean at Zoom Drain. Sean picked up my call right away and put us on the schedule for the same day. Ian and Jay came out to help us in the afternoon to hydrojet our kitchen line. Emergency services, that's what they did for me. Late on a friday we had the sewer line clog, trying to save a buck, I ran to Home Depot and bought the biggest RIGID drain snake $500.00 "NOT RETURNABLE" written all over the box. Heavy Duty, electric motor 100 footer, the works! Myself and my plumber friend wrestled with it for hours to no avail. The machine I bought was a complete turd. Then it was he that referred me to The Zoom dude, he even made the call. Within minutes, The Zoom guy called and said he was in route. He arrived at 8pm, didn't leave For at least 2 hours. The line was cleared relatively quickly but he spent more time figuring out how it happened and how to prevent it from happening again. Not cheap but I can say I'm very happy with the service. And it's worth every penny. After this fiasco, I was able to return the snake to Home Depot anyway, even though the whole no return rule. read more

She confirmed that it had been almost two years to the day. They sent the same technician I had two years ago. Johnny Rodriquez. This company does mainly sewer blockages. I do not recommend them for landscaping drainage. When I had my landscaper come back to finish the landscaping they found the pitch was off about three inches. This would keep water in the drain even though it would flow. read more
