Today I had an experience with Dalton who is in partnership with his veteran father, Earl, a U.S. Marine (my daddy was a U.S. Marine too-- "Semper Fi!") This attracted me to the co.--and my hunch proved to be correct. They operate with dignity and respect, and man, was Dalton (US Army) hyper clean with his job process. He did not scrimp on the heavy-duty paper towels and cleaned as he went along. He did an impeccable job. He unclogged a bathroom sink and tightened up my kitchen faucet that the previous plumber did not install correctly. He was quick but not rushed and very mannerly in his demeanor and communications. He also took time to explain the 'Why' behind the problem and the right solution to fix it. I highly recommend Prostar and have tried some of the others who come up. So thankful we called this company. Our renter was complaining of an odor in the upstairs hallway. She thought it was coming from the roof vent. Because she never used the tub upstairs. I have a dual sink in master bathroom which was clogged for about 1 1/2 weeks. I tried to open the drain with a handheld auger, but could not get to the stoppage. I also used a liquid drain opener, but that did not work either. I called another plumbing service and they responded, but after one attempt to get to the clogged, they told me they would have to access the back of the sink to get to the drain which was going to be very expensive. I called Prostar Plumbing and explained the situation to see if they can help (2nd opinion). I talked to Dalton who told me they can get to the clog and have dealt with this issue with other customers. I asked him for his earliest appointment and he was able to get someone out later in the afternoon. Mike from Prostar showed up on time and accessed the situation and got straight to work. He removed the P-Trap for both sinks and sent the auger down to get to the clog. After several attempts from both sides, he was able to get to the clog and cleared the drain! Mike said this was the toughest job (for this kind of stoppage) but he took this assignment as a challenge to his plumbing skills. Mike definitely proved his abilities that day and I am so grateful he did not give up like to the first plumber did. Thank you Prostar for hiring a great employee and you will absolutely be called again at my residence for any plumbing issues which most likely come up again (inevitable) in the future.
