Truly an Honest Review -…read more First off, The Water Heater Company fixed the issue with the pilot light on our Rheem Professional water heater, which had been going out after hours or days of use. This had happened in the past when we first purchased the unit about four years ago. At that time, I replaced the burner assembly and control valve, and the problem was solved. I never found out the exact cause, but it was fixed. Fast forward to today, and the same issue started happening again. Unfortunately, I was away on business, and my wife was home with the kids, getting tired of relighting the pilot every morning and sometimes multiple times during the day. We called The Water Heater Company, and their service and communication were excellent. After diagnosing the issue, they contacted Rheem and ordered replacement parts under warranty: the burner assembly and control valve. They gave us three options: replace the two parts under warranty, replace the entire water heater, or install a tankless water heater. Because this is a very expensive unit that otherwise works well, we chose to repair it. Here's my honest opinion. As a fellow tradesman, I understand that skilled work is expensive. Still, the labor charge of $800 felt very high for what was essentially a warranty part replacement. The first visit took about an hour, and the second visit took around 50 minutes. I understand there's drive time, phone calls, office staff, insurance, tools, and scheduling overhead, but it still seemed excessive. Maybe I'm looking at it through the eyes of someone who usually handles these kinds of repairs myself, but I was away for an extended period and needed the problem resolved. So I'm torn on the rating. Quality of work: 10/10. Professionalism: 10/10. Price: 4/10. In the end, though, I paid for peace of mind and have the issue fixed correctly than save a little money and end up with a possible poor repair.

Technician Took a $1,600 Faucet From My Home Without Permission…read more I hired Just In Time Plumbing to remove a high-end faucet -- valued at $1,600 brand new -- so I could have my stone countertop replaced. I specifically told the technician that I had ordered a new one but would be reinstalling this faucet once the new stone was in place. When the stone work was done and I went to reinstall the faucet, it was gone. I called Just In Time Plumbing and was told that the technician had taken it from my home, assuming I no longer wanted it. No one asked me. No one called to confirm. A $1,600 fixture was simply removed from my property without my consent. When I spoke with the owner, Justin, his response was shocking. He told me it is their "standard practice" to dispose of anything they remove, and that if I wanted to keep the faucet, I should have told the technician. In other words, he defended his employee taking personal property from a client's home without asking -- and placed the blame squarely on me. Not once did Justin offer an apology. Not once. And as of today, I have yet to receive a callback with any resolution regarding the replacement of my faucet. If you value your belongings, think twice before letting this company into your home. What they removed from a job site, they apparently consider theirs to keep.

I appreciated the work they put in to ensure everything is up to code (and then some additional safety measures!). Sam was the tech who came by promptly and he was friendly and professional. I also had my pressure release valve and spigot replaced. All good. Based on my research, they used a high quality Bradford White tank and Wilkins PRV, so I'm happy with that. I appreciate the quick responsiveness and willingness to answer my questions because I tend to be an overanalyzer.

Water Heater Doctors delivered a smooth and professional experience. From the moment I reached out,…read moretheir responses were lightning-fast and their estimate was extremely competitive. They were transparent about pricing and recommended additional services to bring the installation up to current Orange County code. I confirmed this with another specialist, so I knew they weren't pushing unnecessary upsells. Everything was clearly itemized so I understood exactly what I was paying for. I communicated with Zach throughout, who provided excellent customer service. Whenever I reached out to him, he often responded within minutes, scheduled quickly, and was super accommodating when I had to move the appointment up. Initially, I was only getting lukewarm water, but when it turned completely cold the next day, I reached out after-hours. Zach replied first thing in the morning and arranged to move the appointment up to that afternoon. They gave me a 2-hour window (12:30-2:30pm), and Nick arrived promptly at 12:30pm, so I did not have to wait. He completed the installation efficiently in about 90 minutes, and cleaned up thoroughly. Zach even followed up the next day to ensure everything was working to my satisfaction. Compared to others I contacted, WHD offered a high quality service and craftsmanship at a competitive price. Highly recommend them to anyone looking for reliable, high-quality water heater service.

On the day of the appointment, they text you a link which opens up a map which shows exactly where your technician is and how far they are from you, in real time- that is a very cool feature, indeed. The text also shows a mini-bio of the technician with their photo and it describes his experience as well. Ryan used his power snake to unclog a slow draining bathroom sink, and got the job done. Courteous, efficient and competent. He also took time to explain in detail what is going on in my drain pipe, and what I can expect in the future. Good price+good service = winning combination. I would call Wish Granted Plumbing again the next time I need plumbing work done.

They are scummy salesmen…read more I'm having a few issues with the water filtration system at a rental home I own, so I called to have a technician come out and take a look. He spent an hour talking about how great their new systems are, but after he left, I realized the water fill line for the salt tank wasn't even attached, which might explain why the unit isn't working properly. I would expect a water filtration technician performing a maintenance check to notice that a critical water line was disconnected, but everyone makes mistakes. So I called them back and scheduled a 2-4 PM window for someone to come out and hopefully fix the issue. I even received a call at 8:00 AM confirming the appointment. Then, at 3:00 PM--an hour into the arrival window--the owner of the company called me, confused about the issue, and said they don't fix units like mine. He told me I need a new unit because of an error code, and that NO ONE was actually scheduled to come out. The only reason they came out for an estaminet was to convince me to buy a new unit classic bate and switch BS. They had no intent to help me fix my unit at all. I planned my whole day around this appointment. The owner seemed confused why I did not just want to buy a new unit. Call me crazy, but I don't want to spend thousands of dollars if all I have to do is replace a 3-dollar plastic water line. It is like getting a flat tire, and the mechanic is trying to sell you a new car. just slimie as all hell.
