I needed to relocate my old standing water heater and upgrade to a gas tankless system, and I honestly wasn't sure where to begin. My old unit was taking up a small room on the second floor, and I wanted it moved down to the garage to clear that space for a home office. Robert Pinson was recommended by a family friend, and he was incredible from the start. Within a week, he came out, listened to my goals, and built a straightforward quote. His expertise gave me total confidence that he could handle the job no problem. I've attached photos to show the scale of the work; because of the relocation, they had to run new water and gas lines, and they opened up the drywall at my request to make everything seamless. Robert and his crew were on time, efficient, and their workmanship was truly immaculate. They remained professional and courteous throughout the entire process, even wearing shoe covers inside to ensure my house stayed spotless while they tested the water. This project had been hanging over me for months, but they made the process painless from start to finish. If you are going back and forth on a big project, just hire these guys--it is well worth the investment! read more

Happy with the service. Very fair pricing. The plumbing techs were practical and reasonable and got the job done cleanly. I felt like I was given suggestions that they would have given themselves if it were their own personal circumstance. read more

Another great visit with Pinson. Needed a leak repair and opted to just replace the whole toilet. Scheduling was great, the techs that came out were on the earlier side of the arrival window. They were knowledgeable and efficient and replaced the toilet quickly to minimize the water to the building being shut off for too long. Will definitely use Pinson again for any plumbing needs. read more

I've been in the construction industry for almost my entire life, and I've had to use numerous plumbing companies. All of them have up and downs. I met Rob with Pinson Plumbing in 2017, when I was remodeling a house in Cerritos. I was very impressed with his company's work ethic, attention to detail, and clean up. His company did a stellar job then. I didn't have any plumbing issues until my kitchen sink sprung a leak in the stainless hose line underneath the cabinets. I texted Pinson Plumbing and Yelped them about my issue. Rob called me within a few hours of my call. Told me he'd check his schedule and get back to me. No worries. Rob got back to me that afternoon and told me that Pinson Plumbing would be there the next day for a faucet install. I already had the faucet so it would be a straight forward installation. While speaking to Rob, I mentioned that my water heater was about 20 years old, and it was a 40 gallon by GE (I knew that most water heaters only last 8-12 years). Rob gave me a good quote for a 50 gallon. I told him that I didn't want a Home Depot or Lowe's special off the shelf. His recommendation was Bradford White. The days of having brown murkey water are over. The new water heater is installed to building code with new earthquake straps and a drip pan underneath it. Contact Pinson Plumbing, you won't have to look no further for a good plumber and their rates are a good value. read more

Robert and his Team are Great. They are Punctual, Professional, Efficient, Friendly, and Personable with no problem answering any questions, and they Always clean up after themselves before leaving. I have been having plumbing issues for a while now and no one knew how to fix the problems. Robert found the culprit, my Laundry Drain was backed up and needed to be cleared. Also, they replaced my Leaky Shower Valve. They were done in No Time. I highly recommend Pinson Plumbing. read more

Pinson Plumbing was a referral from another plumber as we had an issue the other plumber wasn't qualified to fix. Rob took my call and I explained all that was going on. A few things I value are transparency, quality, and dependability. Rob was transparent about all that he was doing with regard to the work on the issues we were having. He explained it to me and then went into detail explaining it to my elderly mother - with great patience. When he left to get parts, he made sure to contact me to keep me in the loop about how long it was going to take. He followed-up when he had to go to multiple locations - unfortunately, we have wall-mounted toilets that are old and the parts aren't readily available. He arrived when he said he would, on multiple occasions as we had multiple issues that needed to be repaired. And the quality of work was exceptional. We officially are leak free. I'm grateful that the other plumber referred us to Rob and Pinson Plumbing. The sound of silence after listening to toilets run daily for a few weeks is bliss and an incredible relief. Thank you, Rob for all your hard work, transparency, and patience. I'm glad we can count on you. read more

We had water coming from a shared wall unit in our condominium. Pinson Plumbing was very responsive and in great communication throughout the entire process. The service and experience was by far one of the best as it's owner/family operated. They are very transparent and honest with their recommendations and pricing. Pinson Plumbing is a company that we can easily trust!! Thank you for coming out and taking care of our water leak. read more

I have no words to how I can describe this company. From the moment I called to the moment the tech left, it was nothing short of perfect. I called and Rob answered, told him my situation, sent him pictures, and he said he'll have someone over between 3-5PM the same day. I was thoroughly shocked because I had called over 10 companies prior and they all said the task was going to require a new valve with estimates above $1000. I was a bit shocked knowing Rob was so confident in the project just based off a picture. Couple hours later, Joe arrives, and within half an hour he was in and out. These guys are absolutely phenomenal, from the service to the personality. This is the type of company I will do business with. read more

Called Pinson Plumbing for a leak in my condo between the first and second floor. Brett Bauders from Pinson Plumbing arrived ahead of schedule (finished previous job early) had mask on, was very courteous, explained everything thoroughly. As part of the free estimate, he cut into the drywall to find the source of the leak. He carefully laid out a tarp to catch all the debris first. The leak turned out to be different than I had previously thought, it was from a corroded fire sprinkler supply line, which our Homeowners Association is responsible for repairing. (They don't want anybody else doing anything to the sprinkler system.) Brett cleaned up all the drywall debris and soaked insulation and other trash to his truck. I felt bad that he spent time to find the leak for a free estimate and it turns out he couldn't work on it, so I gave him a little something for a nice lunch. When I do have an actual plumbing issue next time, I'm giving Pinson Plumbing a call. read more

I found Pinson Plumbing by searching Yelp. The 5 star reviews gave me the confidence to call them. The owner, Rob, answered my call. He was professional and organized. We made an appointment for that week. His employee, Joe, came to give us a free estimate. He kept us updated on his ETA and explained what needed to be done. The cost was exactly what he quoted. No surprises. I found out later that he took extra time to find us a faucet that was on sale. Talk about great service! He fixed two of our leaky sinks promptly. And he left the areas as clean as they were before he started working. Three cheers and five stars for Pinson Plumbing! read more

Rob and his associates are without a doubt the best plumbers I've ever had the good fortune of hiring. Over the past two years, I've undertaken extensive renovations on my home in order to bring it into the 21 century, and that means that I've had to deal with an assortment of contractors of varying degrees of expertise and of all stamps of character. Not only do Rob and associates know their trade better than any other plumber I've ever hired - like the comparison is not even close - they are perhaps the only contractors I've ever hired who genuinely understand the value of customer service. In this connection, it's important to understand that Rob and his associates don't advertise, because his business is built upon the premise that contractors should establish working relationships with their customers, and then cultivate those relationships so that we indeed become loyal customers. (And don't I wish that all businesses still approached their business with that degree of integrity?) But because Rob doesn't have an advertising budget, it also means that what they actually charge is a true reflection of what it costs in terms of labor and materials to get the job done properly. And this they definitely do! So long as they're in business, I wouldn't dare go to anyone else for plumbing problems in Orange County. read more

This was my first time using Pinson Plumbing. They were very professional, prompt, courteous, thorough, and patient in answering my questions. Brett, the plumber, arrived on time the morning of the appointment, to install 3 bathroom faucet fixtures (along with hoses and shut off valves). I also received a text earlier in the morning to advise he was en route. He completed the job in a timely manner, and was thorough in cleaning up the spaces after his work was complete. He also was patient in answering my questions regarding the hardness level of my water. I am impressed and pleased with the level of service and craftsmanship from this company. I will utilize their services in the future and would definitely recommend this local family owned business to anyone! read more

We had an overnight water break outside our house causing a cascade of water. I was able to turn that water off, but unfortunately that also left us with no water for the house - no showers, no toilets, no water at all. I called Pinson Plumbing and received a prompt response from Rob, the owner. Rob sent Joe, one of his employees, to assess the damage. Given the last minute emergency and the fact Rob already had other jobs scheduled, he would not be able to start the repairs for several days. Here is the first reason why Pinson Plumbing deserves a great review - instead of walking away from the job, Joe and Rob figured out a short term solution that would allow us to have water in our home. Within an hour, Joe was able to bypass the broken water pipe and installed approximately 40 feet of tubing which allowed us to have water. The original estimate called for digging up a 40-foot trench and replace the possible galvanized pipe leading from the water break to the house. Fortunately, the water pipe was not galvanized and did not need replacement. Second reason for a great review, Joe called me promptly with the good news and the estimated price adjustment. Joe showed me exactly what pipes were replaced and also reinforced the new above -ground piping to avoid an accidental break. The work was completed promptly and very professionally. The last reason for a great review, the next day I received a call from Rob Pinson apologizing for not being able to be at the work site the day before because of a prior scheduled event. Rob also wanted to follow-up to see if I was satisfied with the work performed AND to notify me that he would be doing a parts and labor price adjustment lowering the bill even more! I usually do not write reviews, but Pinson Plumbing deserves one. We are very happy with the work Pinson Plumbing completed. We are especially appreciative that instead of walking away from the job because he was booked, he was willing to help us with a short term solution to allow us to have water in our home. We will not hesitate to call Rob Pinson next time we have a plumbing issue. read more

I own a salon in Lake Forest. We've been having trouble with the water heater for our shampoo sink for about a year. I've had other plumbers out to look at it and nothing has worked. Brett from Pinson just left and I'm so happy to write this review! He was very professional. He took his time to really trouble shoot what was going on with our water heater. Rob, the owner, called to check in as well. I'm so excited to report that we know have full pressure hot water!!! Thank you thank you! Side note... if you're shopping plumbers as I had, you may find that people don't answer or call back. This is so frustrating. PINSON answers and you get automated confirmations. From the person on the phone to the technician who showed up, excellent customer service. A few weeks ago, my husband noticed an odd stain on some of our wood flooring. So we called a plumber first to make sure it wasnt a leak. I was very worried especially with everything going on with the virus. The guy on the phone asked me several questions to gauge the severity and made my appt. The technician showed up on time and listened to all of the things we thought it might be and thoroughly checked everything out, pressure test and visual inspection in multiple areas. He found nothing and didn't charge us. I was shocked as we took up an hour or more of his time. This company is local and great. I would definitely use them for any future plumbing needs. read more

Our neighbor recommended Pinson Plumbing for the main line sewer work we needed done. The owner, Rob, is extremely responsive, called back right away to schedule an inspection. We hired them for the job - he and his crew was very impressive. Very professional, communicated with us every step of the process (it was a 2 day job), used text and email to keep us notified of appointment and when crew was arriving, rates were reasonable and the crew worked diligently to get the work done. Rob even stopped out at our job while his crew was working, as I think he was in the area. It was a pleasure working with Pinson. I contacted Pinson Plumbing for a shower valve problem that they had installed 5 years ago. I thought they would be able to know what to do best since they installed it. I texted Sat, they replied that Monday they would call and schedule. Monday they texted and the earliest appointment was Thursday. I said ok. I texted a photo of the valve box to show the brand. They asked for my email and I received two emails and several texts confirming the appointment. Then on Wednesday afternoon the day before, they texted that they can't find the part and canceled my appointment. Basically I lost a week. Then they called and said I should contact the manufacturer and request the part, then once I gave it to call them and basically hire them to install. They should have told me Monday if they couldn't find the part. Wasted 1 week and I need to now start over. Terrible customer service. read more

Pinson Plumbing is definitely a 5-star operation. I called them to snake my kitchen sink. They showed up on time, completely protected their work area, and got the job done quickly. While checking their connections, they showed me where my galvanized drain was rotting. This explained the horrible smell we'd been experiencing. They showed us a couple of different options of how to fix it, depending on the condition of the pipe. I was well-prepared to understand what a worst-case scenario would cost. Thankfully, it was repairable without tearing up the slab. I appreciate how much they respected my home and how well the repair was carried out.
