My husband and I love this place! The catfish is divine and sooooo delicious. Gotta order the sides. - collard greens, mac and cheese and the banana pudding!!! Lemon pepper wings were delicious. The greens were very, very good too. Definitely will be back to try their other wing flavors and burgers.

I'm giving it 5 stars because the food was delicious. Yeah a bit pricey too but the taste made it worth it. Came in because of yelp. My only thing was when I went in the girl who took my order was a bit rude... I said hello when I got in and she never said hi to me back... you could definitely tell I wasn't a regular so I guess I was expecting the welcome and you have any questions... but no.. she pretty much asked if I was ready. As I waited for my food, another customer/DoorDasher came in, and you could tell he was a regular. She greeted him and was more lively to him. Would I go back? The catfish has a great taste because the seasoning was on point but the texture was tough and jerky like the fish was freezer burned or old. However, I did eat all the fish though despite the jerky texture. I didn't eat any of the Mac & cheese . On sight you can tell It had very starchy noodles and low grade quality cheese and looked old. I wouldn't give this place another try, attempted to share feedback with the cook versus here but he wasn't trying to hear it. So I'll leave it here instead. That time I went to D-Mac's and ordered 18 wings and then ate all of them by myself was today. My little granddaughter was glad that she got to order her own wings along with some mac and cheese since I wasn't sharing. Seriously, we LOVE this place. Every time I visit Phoenix I make a trip here and the wings are perfectly prepared every single time. I got to try the sloppy joe sandwich on my last visit, also excellent. Please believe the reviews. As someone else mentioned the fish was seasoned well but tasted old and freezer burnt. It was tough and chewy. Second issue I have is that I've never been to any establishment that sells fish or wings that charges you for hot sauce. Lastly the fish comes with 1 side and absolutely no bread for $18. You can go to Mrs whites in downtown Phoenix and get catfish, 2 sides with cornbread for the same price with free hot sauce. This place isn't worth it. read more

While visiting from Las Vegas with friends, we heard about this good wing spot. We came around 1:30am on Friday night and were refused service from the owner D-Mac. The sign on the door and Yelp said the business closed at 3am. His response for refusing service was that "They were trying to leave early tonight". Very unprofessional.
