So I saw this one on TikTok and could not resist trying it out myself because the reviews were flooding my social media. Like anyone would do, the wife and I went to check it out at the Irvine Spectrum. I ended up getting the half chicken plate and she got me the chicken shawarma wrap, which I think is called the Classic Bird on the menu. Let me get the vibe out of the way first. The staff seemed extremely busy, so there was not much time to talk with them or get any kind of interaction, which is totally understandable with how packed it was. Being at the Irvine Spectrum does not help either, it is crowded and loud, and it sits right next to the kids playground, so good luck out there, it is a bit of a nightmare. The good news is you can easily grab your food and enjoy it while walking around or driving somewhere else, which is what I would recommend. Now the food, because that is what makes it all worth it. The chicken plate was a solid size and honestly a good amount of food for the money. We were both shocked at how good and moist the chicken was, because chicken plates usually end up dry, but this was legit dripping juice even in a to go container. It had so much flavor and punch, and the skin was perfectly crispy, not crunchy, just crispy enough. Pair that with their garlic dip and it was amazing, honestly absolutely amazing. Then the shawarma, and I was in awe. Hands down the best chicken wrap I have had in a very long time. You get the crunch of the pita, the flavor and seasoning of the chicken, and then the garlic sauce on top, and yeah, just wow. I legit crave this place now and have yet to find another wrap this juicy and packed with flavor. Even with the chaos around it, I can absolutely recommend this to anyone. It is an absolute must and a 10 out of 10. Honestly the best chicken I have had next to Chicken Shop in Costa Mesa.

Amazing rotisserie chicken, that's all I can say. They make one thing and they make it penalty perfect. The hardest part when making rotisserie chicken is the breast I think, it's so easy turn out very dry and flavorless, but not dizzy bird's. The seasoning and oil seeps into the breast and make it juicier than other chickens, plus dipping into their famous sauce, it was so yummy. My boyfriend said sometimes their breast could be little dry to chew but most of the time it's consistent. The sweet potato wasn't really sweet so I wish I got the pesto pasta, I saw the table next to us eating it, it looked delicious. Also I would try their corn on the cob next time, it's grilled fresh per order too. Plenty parkings nearby but it does get super crowded on the weekend since it's Spectrum. The place is not so big but it got some tables and the bar table too where you can watch them cook while eating. Pretty loud with so many people coming in and out and tables are very closely positioned next to each other. But the food is really good so I won't complain.

I get the classic bird from time to time when craving it! I love that it's is grilled which makes the wrap super crispy on the outside with a good amount of chicken on the inside! The sauce pairs very well! It is pretty delicious overall but I would say that it is a bit dry. The atmosphere and service is pretty good as well! Overall, it hits the spot when you are craving it!

I thought it was just okay. I ordered the two thighs meal. The wait was long which is expected at such a busy location inside the Spectrum. I didn't mind that part. But the food came out lukewarm which I did mind. I didn't love the flavor of the chicken, it definitely tasted like it was roasted but there was a lemony undertone which I wasn't too fond of. Probably won't come back but I can see why it's popular.

Was very excited to try their rotisserie chicken! it was pretty juicy and tender and i tried their plate, bowl, and wrap the plate was very worth it with 2 chickens and 2 sides. loved the pesto pasta and their potatos the wrap was also pretty good and went well with their sauces. def worth a try with reasonable pricing

I came into Dizzy Bird at the Irvine Spectrum and absolutely loved it! The menu is healthy, balanced, and delicious. The chicken is very tender and juicy with the best spice. My fiancé ordered the Hot Bird and I got the 1/4 chicken plate with the lemon garlic potatoes and pesto pasta salad. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and so satisfying. We both really enjoyed the meals we ate and can't wait to come back! The prices are also very reasonable, especially given the portion sizes. My only complaint might the seating which can feel a bit cramped when busy but it's definitely worth the visit for the food! Highly recommend.

I have seen such great reviews and talk about Dizzy Bird and I visit the Spectrum quite a bit so I was set to go visit and see what the buzz was all about. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon it was pretty busy, only a few seats were avail in the shade outside and it was full inside. People eat pretty quick though and I noticed after waiting a few minutes, people were able to find seats. We wanted to try a couple of different items so we go a bowl and we got a wrap. The food was ready in about 10 minutes or so, not too long of a wait. Maybe i'm in the minority but I didn't think it was that great to where I would want to go back again. The bowl had standard things that I didn't think were all that great like the cherry tomatoes, pita chips, lettuce. The chicken was moist and tender, I did like that and the wrap had a delish sauce I think its their dizzy sauce. But nothing really stood out to me. Maybe I would have to order just the chicken plate not the bowl. The food did taste very fresh and high quality, also the bowl seemed healthy, that's a plus!

The food here is BOMB!!! Went today for the first time as my friend insisted that we go and I was blown away with how much I loved the food. I ordered the spicy wrap (with added lettuce and tomatoes) along with their special sauce and after just a few bites my tastebuds were in heaven. The wrap is absolutely to die for and I'd high recommend you try it when you get. It's messy, but don't let that stop you from chowing down. The chicken is incredibly juicy, tender, and flavorful which is complimented by the crunch of the toasted wrap and all of the fresh ingredients inside. The sauce is super tasty with some zing and a nice kick which you have to try! I already can't wait to come back to get this again!!

Was at the Irvine Spectrum and saw a line out the door for this place- I love Mediterranean food and I was excited to give it a try regardless of the wait, it took about 30 minutes for the food to come out on a busy day, a little hard to find seating because the store itself is pretty small, but there is plenty of seating outside of the store at the Spectrum. You can see the kitchen preparing the food from the register as well! We ordered the whole chicken which came with two sides and I think this one was my favorite because of how juicy the chicken was when I tore it open. We also ordered the chicken with the salad and a pineapple drink. Overall, I had a great experience and it was so yummy!

Dizzy Bird has quickly become one of my fav eats for chicken! I have been wanting to try this hot spot for awhile, so when given an opportunity, I scheduled a lunch date w/ the hubs (since we were already at the Spectrum, dropping off our daughter for a hangout). We stopped by on a late Sunday afternoon (around 2:30ish) and it was poppin'. Even tho there was a line, ordering was fairly quick, since we knew what we wanted & ordered via the kiosk. Seating (both indoors & out) was hot real estate, so you really needed to keep an eye out to grab one before it's gone. Luckily, a fam was finishing up as we finished our ordering. Upon seating down, our name was called at the pick-up counter, so service was efficient. The vibe is chill, but fast-paced/hectic as well. Both the hubs & I ordered a two-thigh plate ~ which comes w/ 2 sides ($19.99/each). We opt'd for just the classic/original, no fancy smansy sauce it up..so we can truly taste the quality. I chose the pesto pasta salad & roasted lemon garlic potatoes for my sides & the hubs got the side salad & baked sweet potato. It was alot of food, for the price point..so it's fair (factoring in, we are dining at the Spectrum too). The food was fresh, chicken was moist & flavorful, and everything was cooked perfectly. The chicken was really juicy w/ a crispy exterior, and the sides complemented the meal well. I loved my pesto pasta salad. It reminded me of a mac salad (which I always get if given the chance), but w/ a pesto taste mixed in. Filling & refreshing. The potatoes were seasoned & grilled well. It had loads of flavor. I really liked my hub's baked sweet potato too. We halfsies the sides, so that we each could try everything. OMG..do yourself a favor and order extra TOUM (it's only like 0.75 cents extra)!!! That Lebanese garlic sauce is BOMB! I dipped it w/ literally EVERYTHING ~ from my pita bread to my chicken, and even my potatoes. YUMSSS.. All in all, great portions for the price & definitely worth a visit, esp. if you're craving fresh and healthy & in the area already. We'll be coming back again. RxFoodie recommend!!!

I got the Hot Bird Wrap and it was alright. People said the size was really small but I got pretty full from it. I think it might be because it was so hot inside that I lost my appetite. But the hot bird wrap was a little too spicy and I want to try their pesto pasta next time.

This was our first time here and the costumer service was something you really can't finding at other places. Angie the girl in the front helped us out with the menu. I walked in and was very undecided on what to order from the menu as I was looking on the screen I was approached by the cashier Angeline. Angeline was so helpful with her suggestion of the most popular items on the menu and explained what each item came with that I decided to take her suggestion and go for "the classic wrap with extra chicken" and also getting a "Cali salad ". Both items very delicious. Definitely recommend both items if you're feeling unsure of what to order. read more

I ate here after hearing about all the hype but my experience was overshadowed by poor and rude customer service. The person taking my order messed up and added something to the order that I never ordered and charged me for it. I went to the cash register to get my refund since I never ordered it. I brought it up to the person who took my order and she rudely insisted that I was wrong and that I had ordered the extra food even though I had not. She repeated several times that I was wrong and that I had indeed ordered the food. Anyway, after arguing for a couple minutes she told me I would get my refund in a couple days, but to be honest the whole experience left a very bad taste in my mouth. I would've had a good experience if the employee owned up to their mistake and just gave me my refund instead of arguing with me and basically accusing me of misrepresenting the facts. Would highly recommend not coming here because of the rude customer service EDIT: The owner reached out to me and apologized for the incident and refunded me the entire order. Quality customer service from the owner. I really appreciated him reaching out to me and will give Dizzy Bird another shot read more

There pita wrap is bland so is there half chicken absolutely no way would I come back for a pita that has only roasted shredded chicken and pickles. This ain't Mediterranean whatsoever. This is a sad looking pita sandwich in my opinion ..for what I tried out there not close to authentic! The only dish that I appreciated was their seasoned fries and how crispy it was ..how sad is that! read more

The food here is great. You just have to wait forever for it though. Went for dinner, all around the wait time from getting into line to having the food in hand is 1-1.5hrs, which is really egregious for a place claiming fast casual. Waiting in line took about 15 minutes, and after getting to the front, they told me it would be about 30 minutes for my food to come out. After returning in 30 minutes, I was quickly dismissed and told to wait more. I ended up having to wait another 20-30 minutes. They ran out napkins as well, and when I asked if I could have some, I was told to go to the bathroom to get some because they didn't have time to get more. The food was good, just largely overshadowed by how hard it is to get. But definitely needs a bigger space, or more staff, or just another oven or something. read more

wow, this place has the best Lebanese chicken I've ever had in my life. It is equivalent to the dizzy Bird in Mission Viejo. This is their second location and I've been here a handful of times since they have been open. Highly recommended and the rotisserie chicken is their homemade roasted potatoes are on another level. My wife loves her Cali salad. Everything is so fresh and the rotisserie chicken it is top-notch. This place is very busy during lunch so make sure you come early and place your order. I'll definitely be back soon. read more

Today I visited Dizzy Bird at the Irvine spectrum around lunch time and I was greeted with a smile and an a welcome of hello. I was greeted by Angie and she was very friendly and polite when I asked what were some of her recommendations, she recommended me to try the Cali salad with extra chicken and the spicy garlic sauce on the side, to wash all down I tried pineapple lemonade which was very delicious. I appreciated Angie's help very much. read more

I am very impressed by the ambiance food quality and workers looking sharp and serious w the job. I ordered the chicken breast w sweet potato bake rice and lemon chicken, it's so delicious it's like a wedding killer entry that you can taste the culture or you travel to their origin I love it it's very savory I am a fan of good rotisserie love how tender not dry clean not over powering flavor good portion rice is cooked perfectly the bake sweet potatoes win my heart by looking at the picture I always say I'm going to get that but I work a lot so I never get a chance to visit but todays visit over all 2/2/2025 2:30 pm everything taste so delicious I highly recommend and will definitely come back every week read more

Even the rice portion was noticeably smaller than what Panda Express used to serve. I understand that food costs have increased and prices have gone up, but charging more while serving a fraction of the food customers used to receive is not acceptable. Unfortunately, this experience left me feeling ripped off. There are plenty of restaurants offering better quality food, larger portions, and enough leftovers for a second meal. If Panda Express continues reducing portions while raising prices, they're going to lose loyal customers like me. Very disappointing experience.

The staff were really nice. When I walked in, I was kindly welcomed by the cashier, Eyad. I took a bit of time to look through the menu, as it was my first time there. Not only was he patient with me, but he also helped me understand the menu better. He pointed out the plates and wraps, and gave me good options based on what I told him I normally like. I ended up going for the Silly Bird. Despite the store seeming pretty busy, my food was actually ready in a very reasonable time, around 10 minutes. When I got my food, I was surprised how big the wrap was considering the price, especially because it's in the Irvine Spectrum which normally has relatively expensive food. The texture of the Silly Bird was really good. It was cooked to the perfect degree where it had a crisp edge, but it wasn't burnt at all. The flavor was shockingly powerful considering how little ingredients were used. I also put sauce on it that really added to the taste. I asked elias "how did you know my birthday is this Saturday October 3rd?" He replied "wow! mine is Sunday. Libras!" I knew I liked him from the jump. The chicken Gyro was extremely flavorful, the spices and veggies mixed well with the perfectly seasoned chicken. Even the gyro wrap tasted homemade. I am a food connoisseur, those who know me, know. The is renowned chef Jimmy Stafford wood-fired pizza, fresh pasta, seasonal salads, Italian breads & authentic gelato, restaurant in Tustin. It was amazing. We ordered the Rigatoni Bolognese with beef short rib ragù, and grana padano, along with a sausage + peppers pizza that has san marzano tomatoes, basil, stracchino, fennel sausage, red onion, and pickled cherry peppers. Both were absolutely delicious. The ragù tasted like something straight out of Bologna, Italy. The fennel sausage and pickled cherry peppers combined to provide a sweet and spicy, rich and savory combination that made me devour it. The staff, especially Maria, were friendly, courteous, and attentive. The dining area is in a warehouse like atmosphere with an outdoor area reminiscent of a microbrewery, perfect for groups or families. This is one of our favorite pizzas so far. We will be definitely be coming back!

In my humble opinion, they make the best pizza in Orange County! MARGHERITA PIZZA IS DELICIOUS. Each hand-made pizza features premium fior di latte mozzarella cheese layered on top of fresh red tomato sauce. The crust is thin and chewy, with just the right amount of char characteristic of a true Neopolitan pizza. All pizzas are cooked to perfection in a wood-fired oven; and all of my pizza orders have been flawless. Thank you very much to Jimmy and his hard-working kitchen crew. My pizzas have been absolutely delicious! GREAT CUSTOMER SERVICE. The front counter staff is very friendly and makes every customer feel genuinely welcome. They are personable and efficient, and work really hard to deliver meals to their customers as quickly as possible, even when there is a long line of customers. The downside is that there is limited seating inside the restaurant, which is tough as outside can be pretty hot/sunny. So try to snag a seat inside if possible!
