The situation escalated to the point where the nail tech was yelling and speaking very rudely and unprofessionally in front of everyone in the salon. It created a really tense and awkward environment. I was there with my 7-year-old daughter, and the way the employee was shouting actually scared her. No child should feel uncomfortable like that in what's supposed to be a relaxing place. I completely understand that misunderstandings can happen with customers, but the way it was handled was extremely unprofessional and should have been addressed more calmly. It really ruined the experience for us. I hope management takes situations like this seriously because customer service and professionalism matter just as much as the quality of the nails.

Although Cathy is usually booked by appointment, I typically see Mimi or Sami, and they both do an excellent job. They also accept walk-ins, which is convenient. There's another nail technician who wears either a cross or pearl necklace (I don't know her name), and she does beautiful manicures as well. Like most businesses, their prices have increased over the years, but I still find them reasonable for the quality of work. During my most recent visit, I got a basic pedicure ($23) and a manicure. Cathy repaired one of my natural nails using builder gel and powder, and my nails turned out beautiful. My total, including a $5 tip for each technician, came to $78. If you're getting gel polish, keep in mind it's an additional $10, which is clearly communicated.
