I came to this salon looking for a simple builder gel overlay on my natural nails exactly what their sign outside says they offer ("GEL") But when I asked for it, they told me they didn't have any gel at all. How do you advertise GEL and then tell your clients you don't have it? The staff also didn't seem willing to understand what I was asking for, and it felt very frustrating. DO NOT GET A PEDICURE FROM THE OLDER LADY WITH ORANGE HAIR ! She sucks! I always put a press on toe nail in my big toes, but i forgot to remove it before going into the nail Salon. I didn't mind paying extra so they can remove it for me. I told the lady before starting if she can remove the nails from my big toe because i wanted acrylic over my big toes and wanted french tip. She said it's "better to put it over it". She's the nail tech, so i listened. I told her i wanted a nude color and she comes out with a dark color because "my skin is dark". Mind you, i'm hispanic and i'm light skin. She rushed through the whole pedicure. My guess she was rushing to take in more clients. Long story short, my toes looked beyond ugly. I asked if she can redo them or at least the bf toes. She said no. Luckily Natalie redid them for me. If you want a decent pedicure, go with Natalie. Next! I saw that they do Gel-X nails. So i went with the gentlemen. I'm guessing he's the only one who does gel x. He never gave me my manicure prior to putting on the gel-X. He didn't file nails or cut my cuticles. Prior to him starting i told him i wanted french tip. He told me if wanted a nude base and i said yes. Tell me why he "forgot" i wanted french tips. I was so excited to get french tip toes nails and finger nails. I can out with the complete opposite. The worst part is , i got charged $113. $60 for gel-X nails.. that's bs. read more

I moved to Long Beach earlier this year and I've gone to 6 nail salons here. They all sucked and did a horrible job on my nails. I got a set of acrylic/gel nails done by Andy and he did an amazing job!! I showed him a picture of what I wanted and he was able to replicate it exactly like the picture! I like that he pays close attention to detail and will take the time the perfect every single nail to the ideal shape requested (I asked for coffin shape and he made sure every nail was shaped evenly and symmetrical). I've been trying find a solid nail salon, and I think I may have just found it! The lady who did my nails (forgot to ask for her name) was pretty thorough and had good skills. Overall, she did a good job with my gel manicure. What I am most impressed with thought, is how cheap it was!!!! They took off my old gel nails, gave me a new gel manicure, and it was only $20!!! Updating my review based on my most recent visit. Went there for a French tip gel manicure. The lady cut me twice on both of my ring fingers. It wouldnt stop bleeding and she has no clue how to help stop it from bleeding or take care of a wound. Since it wouldn't stop bleeding, she just continued to work on those fingers while they are still bleeding. She used some brush to wipe of the blood and it wouldnt work. The nail polish got mixed with my own blood. She kept saying my hands are so dry. She said it multiple times before she finally apologized. And believe me, I wasnt mean to her at all and I didn't try to make a scene. I just want to get it over with and leave. Then she did my french tip and it was all uneven and ugly. I came home and my husband saw my nails. The first thing he said was "why are your nails so ugly?" I went to another nail salon next day to take them off. read more

Hi all this is my second time here. Helen was the lovely lady that did my full set. My nails are inspired after a Picture I saw on Instagram. You want to know what really made me happy? They have the exact same brand of gel polish in the picture that I wanted: KiaraSky soak off gel! That was something I was not expecting. When I first came in I showed the picture and I told them " you guys don't have to have the exact same colors but I want similar colors to it" The customer service here is always very friendly and cordial. Don't be afraid to express how you want your nails to be, they really do listen and take into consideration of the design or of what you want! I forgot the lady who did my pedicure but I almost fell asleep because it was so relaxing. Lol. I didn't even know what color to do my toes but the two ladies were helping me with the color. Helen is very attentive when she always does my nails . she makes sure your nails are even and she asks me if they're too long or too short or too thick.... There are other nail spots around the area but the reason why I keep coming back to this place is the customer service, Great quality nail artists and hands down in all honesty they're cheaper. The fact that they're cheaper and their work is beautiful is a winner for me. If you take a look at their Instagram they are very well-rounded in their creativity. I came here approximately 3 weeks prior for a pedicure. All was well and the the lady who attended to me was quite nice. Yesterday was a totally different and horrific experience; -My feet were soaking in the water for some 20 mins before I was attended to. -The lady who did my pedicure cut me on my big toe, I flinched and she said nothing. Not the slightest sorry of an apology. It bled. She did nothing, just continued with the pedicure. I asked her to apply some alcohol but she applied something else as it didn't have the same stinging effect as alcohol. After I was done and sat at the uv light to dry my nails (now I'm thinking maybe it wasn't such a good idea to expose my broken skin to the uv light) I proceeded to pay, inquired for the manager in regards to the cut I sustained and that is when I noticed it was still bleeding. I showed the lady and she got a cotton ball to wipe it. Called the manager, who called the lady who cut me to come clean it up. That was the only time she apologized because the manager was present. One of my biggest fears has always been getting cut during a pedicure with a tool that has been used on numerous people whose health history I do not know. And how can I trust that the tool was properly sanitized? What if some one who they cut before me had HIV? -I forgot my shoes there so let's see if I'm able to retrieve them or they would've magically disappeared. Scarred! read more

Andy did a wonderful job on the filing, shaping of my nails. However, I removed a star due to the quality of the gel polish they use, it chips easily and lifts in corners. If you do anything with your finger nails, STAY away from their gel! about 2 days after getting them done, I noticed the color lifted in the corners. I was out of town and came back 5 days after getting them done, I revisited this place because my thumb was chipped and I needed to get the gel reapplied. I assumed it would be free of charge, BUT, he charged me $4. Again, Andy did a great job, but the gel polish sucks!! read more

All of the ladies here are very detailed and great at what they do :) My favorite is Andy for my acrylics. He is extremely talented , detail oriented , and the best at what he does :) Along with their talents, their prices are extremely affordable. Many times I add designs or diamonds to my nails and this is the only place where the rhinestones never fall off and remain intact till it's ready for a fill. Horrible! !!!! A waste of time and money. The lady that did my full set not only burned my fingers and cut 3 out of 10 fingers. But she got my skin glued on to the acrylic on EVERY FINGER. I kept showing her that my left hand nails were longer then the right hand and she started huffing and puffing. I asked for square round and got all kinds of shapes . I couldn't get her name because when I asked she pretended she didn't understand what I was saying. ... I came here in hopes to find a permanent nail spot after reading good reviews. I have tried several places before coming here and needless to say, they didn't work out. But the last place, especially did a horrible job and I was doubtful as to how much difference could be made. I walked in around 6pm and was greeted upon entering, which was nice since alot of places won't even acknowledge you. I waited only about 10 min and was seated for a gel spa pedi and a gel mani. A very nice lady (I forgot to ask her name) did my pedi while the owner, Andy, did my mani. I was most concerned with how thin my nails were becoming from consistent gel mani and over filing, so I asked Andy not to file any more of my nails if possible. Let me just say, countless places I have been to, every single manicurist has filed off more than I deem safe regardless of my requests. Andy managed to just take off the old gel mani without even touching my nails! He corrected the lumpy, thick and uneven shape with absolutely no damage and they look fantastic. I did get burnt during callous removal when the lady began using a nail file driller on my foot, but it was only a minor bump. They were so apologetic and I kind of felt bad for letting out a yelp out of shock/pain (no pun intended). The lady that did my pedi (sorry for not getting her name, this redundancy is killing me!) paid so much attention to every detail like I have never experienced. I was there for quite some time but it was worth every second and I left feeling very satisfied. With the basic spa gel pedi ($21.99), gel mani with cuticle clean up and designs on two fingers with the $2 credit card fee, the total came out to $63 and I paid $80 out the door. I know, it's on s little pricey side but mind you, I went extra on some things and for the quality of service and work, I don't mind paying that much every 2-3 weeks. I feel almost nervous for writing this review that I might jinx my luck for finding this place! The guy is the best one to go to if you want acrylic nails. Planning on an appointment for Friday or Saturday, don't. They get so busy that they don't take appointments.
