i went in as a last minute walk in and was greeted kindly. i waited about 10 minutes since two workers were helping someone. the nail tech was open to what i wanted to get. i paid $40 for a full acrylic set. my only complaint is that there wasn't cuticles being removed before adding the acrylic. other than that, the service was good. read more

This place is decent if you go with the ladies. The guy has done my nails twice and twice they sucked. This second time was enough. The next day one nail popped off when I was closing my door....two days later another nail was just off. I didn't even realize it until I shook my blanket and slaw it fly off when I was folding the blanket. This was less than four days from getting my fills and paying $25 for a damn refill. After the fill I noticed it was paper thin and just hoped they would last two weeks...but not lasting four from the day they got done was crazy insane. So the conclusion.... I went back to speak with the guy and he said it was going to happen and he can't do anything about it and he was not going to give me my money back. He also said my naiks were too long and not normal...wtf??? He said I could find another place and not go back....way to solve an issue... Basically tell your clientele to fuck off and don't go back. I'm never going there again....and karma has a funny way of working. And I'm sure its in the works already for this crude and prude business owner. read more

The first time I went they did a great job, then the second time it wasn't that good the third time which is today for a fill it's getting even worse the guy is making my cuticles dry and chapped and said I need a manicure ontop of my fill..I've never had to pay extra for my cuticles to be cleaned when getting a fill..I'm going back to Azusa @ the nail spa where they do an awesome job no matter what and they don't charge you extra to clean the cuticles while they're doing your fills. never again what a disappointment read more

I will start by saying that I've gotten waxed here maybe twice and they were cool. The lady who does my waxing (underarms/lip) is sweet. That's it. So the 3rd time I came in here (probably a Tuesday) and the guy told me that the lady who does waxing is here on Wednesday, no big deal - came on Wednesday, she "wasn't there". Oooook. The bf lives close by and I really needed to get waxed, I'm a hairy human. So I went again (another Wednesday) and the guy really told me, to my face, that the waxing lady wasn't there - but with only like 3 people ever working there, it wasn't hard to miss her! She was there doing nails! I was not trying to play this game, so I went to that other eyebrow place next to Starbucks. I suppose it's my fault I keep getting bad service since I keep coming back, but I figured that things would change (a flaw of mine lol). ANYWAY - I was able to get seen to be waxed some time between now and then so I was like okay, I'll forego those other times because this place is close and she is sweet. Well I'm extremely picky about where I get a pedicure. I'm happy to say no problems here. I do not get my nails cut anywhere I do that myself all other implements were clean not randomly taken out of a trashy tool box! Calluses were removed nicely polished, french tip, ummm main reason I go because I cannot paint that myself! Some people complain about this place using "bad polish" because bubbles appear bubbles is because too much air has come in contact with the polish after it's been put on. Bad polish is just too thick, no bubbles. I only come here when I take my kids to Adrian's Barber Shop a few doors down. I don't live around here but it's worth the drive! read more

I do my laundry next door, and figured we might as well stop in and get our nails done whilst in the vicinity. We were lured in by the $17 mani-pedi. I was a bit surprised when a little portable foot spa was brought out covered in plastic, and I realized that this was not the spa pedicure I was used to (that was $3 more). But I figured, what the heck I'm just getting a pedicure. Kelly is the girl who did my nails, and she was very nice and professional. They all were, really. No gossiping across the aisles or anything. I'm not much into chit chat myself, so that was fine with me! Horrible experience, went in to get a fill, I wanted for 20 minutes, the nail tech decided to use the more expensive powder, finished my nails and tried to charge me 37 dollars FOR A FILL. I refused to pay the price since I wanted just the pink fill and she said since I'm not going to pay the 37 she is going to take the powder off my nails. I had to return several times to get my to naills fixed due to breakage after two days of getting them done and i got the silent treatment when i did. They have a good attitude towards you when they're making money but don't expect for them to have the same attitude if you return to get them fixed. Besides my nails were crooked, uneven, and lumpy and dont complain because they will start to talk bad about you in Vietnamese. (you can only tell when the whole staff turns and stares at you) The gel that they use is very cheap and will chip in chunks. Just a heads up before you go here. read more

I have been here a few times and have had good experiences but this past sunday I went in around 12, didn't get seated till 12:30. they didn't even tell me it would be that long of a wait but I was distracted because I was talking to my friend (and it was her first time going there with me). we finally get seated and the lady who did my manicure/pedicure was rushing. she did my manicure first and cut me, put some blue stuff on my cut. I have a high tolerance for pain so I let it slide and didn't say anything. then she did my pedicure and cut me AGAIN on my big toe! it was bleeding so much she put the blue stuff, then sprayed some crap out of some kind of bottle, who knows what the heck she was spraying on me, then put some kind of glue on it?!!!!!! and didn't even apologize, just laughed as if that was supposed to make it all better? I really hope my toe did not get infected because it has been hurting since. do not go here even if you're trying to save money. go somewhere where they will take their time doing your manicure/pedicure and make sure they don't cut you. read more

I've only been to Eva's once and from my experience I'm not sure if I want to go back. Or maybe it was just a bad day for them? Anyway, I went with my mom because she had an appointment. Because it was last minute, I was a walk-in. I waited for a good thirty minutes to start my nails. I was happy because they do the pointy style here and the lady seemed like she knew what she was doing... Boy, was I wrong! She snipped me once and gave me the most insincere apology. She didn't apply the nail polish too great. The sides of some of my nails weren't painted! I guess it was my fault for not noticing until after I left... and trusting them to do a nice job. Three days later, my pinky nail popped off like it was attached with tape! I was so disappointed... Two of my other nails have broken already. I am very careful with keeping them nice so I thought this was just ridiculous. After my nails were dried I asked if I could get my underarms waxed. As I was in there, they brought in another client to get her eyebrows done. They just sat her under a chair with no good lighting or magnifying glass! Why couldn't they just wait for me to be done? I would have liked some privacy. The workers aren't too sweet, a bit rude... but on the bright side they don't yell across the room to each other in a different language gossiping. So that was pretty good. And on the bright side, the design displays of the nails they have are all really nice. :-) read more

Do not come here. I came here on a Sunday afternoon to get a feel and design on my fingers. The owner a gentleman don't know his name airbrushed a beautiful design on my fingers, charge me $10 for the airbrush and $10 for the gel on top of it. Monday afternoon the airbrush design started to peel. By 1st opportunity to come back to the salon was Friday morning. The owner was extremely rude and putting the blame on me. I don't mind paying for service but I want to get what I pay for. When I ask about air brushing not sticking to the nail I stated sometimes it does and sometimes it doesn't. I wish I would have known at the time I got it I would not have got it. I do not recommend going to Eva's Nails. They got one star because I had to pick 1 read more

The gel manicure I got began peeling after 2 days! Whenever I used my hands to comb through my hair, it would always get snagged. I got so annoyed, I just ended up peeling them all off in under 10 minutes. Exactly. I shouldn't be able to do that so easily, right. It was not a good job. What a waste of money as it did not even last 5 days. My usual place lasts SO much longer, as in months. One thing I noticed is that the ladies cut the time short when under the UV light thing for the gel to dry. I was also surprised that my pedicure was not in the massaging chairs, just the portable plastic tub. I don't remember the last time I ever did that. This has been the go to nail salon for my family since I was in middle school. So hard to see it out of business for so long. I wish they would have taken this chance to update it a bit more then before. Its still the exact same the spa chairs are new but everything else is still out of date. Normally my experience here is always good, but this last time it wasnt. I went in hoping to get my nails done like the photo i showed them. I came out with lint under my nail polish and they look like French tip. It started so good till i started getting my feet done and the lady who was doing my nails stopped and started working on someone else. Instead of taking her time with me. After my pedi was done she move me to get spray on my nails. Completely made my nails look French when i never asked for that and kept the damn lint in it!!! When i asked why is it still in all she said was i told you not to touch anything. Instead of fixing the problem, she tried to blame me and rushing me out to get to her customer.
