My mom and I got our nails done today at Angel Nails and Spa. My mom and sister have been coming here since before my sister was married. They hadn't been lately because of the pandemic and well kids and grandkids. My mom wanted her nails done so we went in for a pedicure and gel manicure. My mom loves Bella and her mom's work. I cut my nails short recently so there wasn't a whole lot to work with. I love my manicure and pedicure and so does my mom. I chose a neutral color for both my nails and toes. They have a variety of gel colors to choose from and I was torn between choosing a lavender and a pink. Bella's mom is very kind and did a wonderful job on my pedicure. They give you a short massage for both your hands and feet, which felt great. I plan to grow my nails out a little longer and have Bella shape them for me. We set up an appointment the day before and arrived right on time, we didn't have to wait. It was not busy. They have clear plastic dividers between Bella and the customer, as well as between her mom and the customer when sitting in the foot bath chairs. Hand sanitizer near the entrance, and masks are required and worn at all times. They are so nice and the price was decent for both a gel mani and two regular pedicures for my mom and I. I live in Simi & every other Saturday I drive at 7 am to go to West Covina just to get my pedicure & acrylics done here at Angel Nails. My pedicurist (Von) specializes in in-grown nails & diabetics. My grandmother, aunt,& cousin all go here. I wouldn't trust anyone in the world to touch my feet, but Von!!! Tracy is the one who does my hands and she's literally the best. You tell her exactly how you want them done and she's spot on! I am always satisfied after she does my nails. She'll also tell me what the "new thing" is and try it out on me. If I don't like anything (which has never happened) she said she'd change it on the spot. This is a family owed business and the sisters who do my nails are the best of the best!!! They make you feel like family. Not like those other places that refuse to speak in English. These sisters make you feel like part of the family. I liked them so much, I started getting my eyebrows waxed there, too. Hell, I even started getting my eyelashes done. For a predicure w/callus removal, pink & white acrylics, maybe a design w/flowers or whatever, eyebrow waxing & eyelashes to put on for the first time... It cost me between $100-110. Been going here for years. Changed ownership but some of the ladies have stayed on. Love the way they really clean your nail beds. Call for appointments on weekends as they get busy! Also does a great job with waxing (eyebrows etc). Look for Bella and Maria. read more

My actual nails came out good but from all the nail salons I've ever been to, they have had the worst customer service yet! This was my first time ever getting a pedicure at a nail salon so I was excited. This was not a first time to remember I'm so sad and upset. They don't even use their pedicure chairs! Two of them have out of order signs but the other two look completely fine but seems to me they are just for the looks -_- The price was different on the sign then what they said instead of giving the price shown on the sign they made my mom look dumb. So I've been wanting to try a new nail salon since the prices of the pedis/manis/fills are incredibly high at the West Covina mall. I live down the street from Angel Nails and came in on my day off at around 10 am no one was in the shop and they got started immediately. Maria did my pedicure and as other reviewers have mentioned she can cut ingrown nails really well. Well she can! Ingrown is how my nails naturally grow (they only get so long and then they start growing sideways) and I didn't feel a thing! She was so gentle and knowledgeable and stopped when she saw my skin getting kind of dry, which is important. I didn't catch the name of my manicurists but I can't complain about her either. There is a nail salon literally 3 minutes from our house; but we will drive 15-20 minutes to Angel Nails. We come here because these ladies are absolutely the BEST. They know what they're doing and when it comes to in-growns they can help you. Believe me when I say...I've been to other nail salons and no one was able to help me; unlike Von, Diem and Tracy. They are by far the BEST!! Aside from being the BEST at what they do; it feels like home. They care about their customers. Whenever my daughter and I come in, it's like visiting family. We can sit and visit with them for hours. All the ladies are friendly and know you by name. They are on time, the prices are reasonable and they speak English; unlike other salons. My daughter and I have a standing appointment every other Saturday and will not miss it for anything. We get everything done here. Come into Angel Nails; try them out and you will keep coming back. If I can give negative 0 stars I would. No stars can describe my tragic experience. HORIBBLE customer service. How can you not wax simple eyebrows? Waste of my time and money. The lady got mad when I asked my eyebrows to be fixed. Don't even bother to come here. The ladies are rude. Not to mention it's already empty so that says a lot. This nail shop is not the best. The service was slow. I sat there waiting 45 mins to be seen and when the next group of people walked in they tried to sit them down before me! When my mom said that they overlooked me, the shop owner said, "don't tell me how to run my shop. I know what I'm doing." I got a natural french manicure and pedicure for graduation. They charge $1-$3 for the kit that they are going to use on you in addition to the original charges.The lady buffed the skin off above my toenail and blamed it on the buffer being brand new! Two days later the polish was peeling off! They are somewhat cheap but go to Eva nails instead. They are classier and just a block away. The only reason we didn't go to Eva's that day was because they were busy and said there would be a long wait. In angel nails you get what you pay for which is not much. read more
