I'm a licensed professional in the beauty industry so I was very happy to see that all of their tools are properly disinfected and sanitized. They have a clean environment and use a sterilizing machine to clean their tools! For me, that is the most important part when looking for a nail salon. They're located in a strip mall with lots of parking in Downtown West Covina. My pedicure was nice, but I wish my tech cleaned up the edges a little bit more. She used an old sanding band that was already on her drill and nipper/cuticle pusher that was in a basket under implements that were in a sterile bag, which she did not touch . I came here for a removal last week and it was not a good experience. I did not have an appointment; I just walked in and asked. The tech that removed my nails was rough and dug too deep into my nail beds. The nail drill hit my finger at one point which caused my hand to jerk back. Aside from not being friendly, she also kept looking at the door/outside the entire time she was buffing my nails. It honestly made me super uncomfortable that she was looking away while she was actively using the tool. How can one not pay full attention when doing this? I kept noticing little indentations she would leave in my nails when she was looking outside and not looking at the work she was doing. I always judge a nail salon based on how they handle removals. I truly feel they should still put care into their work whether they are removing or doing a manicure or anything else. If they prefer not to do removals for whatever reason, I'd rather they just decline versus agreeing to do it and rushing through. It's important to be gentle and make a customer feel valued regardless. I fully planned on coming back here if I had a better experience. I will say that the salon itself looked nice and clean, and I liked that they accept cash, card (with a $2 fee), Zelle, and Venmo. I believe I encountered the manager Ivy when I went to the front to pay. She asked me to use Venmo due to the removal being a small charge and I was totally okay with that. She was very nice. It's unfortunate that my nail tech was not. Please use caution when coming here, especially if you plan to get your nails removed. read more

I asked for a simple design with a heart in the middle, but the heart did not look good at all, so I ended up not getting it, I went with simple color and it still did not come out good. My nails were thick and lumpy. The polish did not look smooth at all. I asked them to fix it and the whole time, the lady who was "fixing" my nail was complaining that she did not see anything wrong. I don't do nails and I can clearly see what was wrong. I left unhappy with my nails and ended up getting them redone at another place. (Picture for reference) If they can't see whats wrong with their nails, they need more practice before doing nails for people.
