1-Star Review -- Disappointing Experience at KK Nails I have continued coming to KK Nails for one main reason: Travis, a young nail technician who clearly has talent. Unfortunately, despite his skills, my experiences in his chair have repeatedly left me feeling uncomfortable, unwelcome, and questioned about the prices I was being charged. I have always tipped generously and treated the staff with respect. Beyond the nail service and discussions about pricing, there was little interaction. However, I repeatedly sensed negative energy and felt uncomfortable with the way I was treated. At times, when staff spoke among themselves in their language, I felt as though I was being talked about. While I cannot know what was being said, the atmosphere made me feel unwelcome rather than valued as a paying customer. My most recent visit was the worst experience yet, and it was the final straw. I refuse to continue spending my money at a business where I do not feel respected. As a Latina, I know how important it is to trust your instincts when you feel unwelcome in a space. I also believe that everyone deserves equal treatment, regardless of their ethnicity, appearance, or LGBTQ+ identity. I cannot say with certainty whether discrimination played a role in my experience, but the way I felt treated has left me questioning whether this establishment truly welcomes everyone. What makes this experience especially disappointing is that good customer service requires more than technical talent. It requires respect, transparency, and professionalism. Customers deserve clear and consistent pricing, honest communication, and the courtesy of being treated with dignity. When I attempted to address my concerns, I felt that the communication was inadequate, which only added to my frustration. I am sharing this review because I believe businesses should be held accountable for the customer experiences they create. I would encourage management to improve communication, ensure pricing is transparent and consistent, and make every customer feel welcome regardless of who they are. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend KK Nails based on my personal experiences. Talent alone is not enough to earn customer loyalty. Respect, trust, and a welcoming environment matter just as much. My money deserves to be spent somewhere I feel appreciated, not somewhere I leave questioning whether I was ever welcome in the first place. read more

I found this cute nail place and decided to give it a try. This place is clean and neat. My nail tech was Mia believe and she was very nice. She gave me a quote and I think it was decent for a builder Gel Nail with custom design and 5 charms. I was hesitant with some of the charms because they look like they can easily fall out if I touch my hair. Mia told me that she can fix it for me if they fall off. The gel nails lasted almost 2 months but I had to remove them because my nails got long and hard to maintain. I went back for removal and they charged $15 which I think it's reasonable. Only thing I had is sometimes I think the towels that they used aren't looking new and clean anymore. Maybe they should consider tossing those ones away. I think I will go again next time for my new nails. read more

I messaged KK Nails for same day availability and was invited to come right in. I was greeted by the front desk (I am so sorry, I forgot to ask for your name) before I even stepped fully into the shop and was seated quickly with Mya. They both immediately offered snacks and a beverage. I had a removal and a new gelx set with French tips, and I was in and out in almost an hour. Mya's French tip work is beautiful, and I noticed she takes the time to touch up the edges with white polish once the set is complete. While the process was quick and my nails look great at first glance, my only issue is that a lot of glue was used on the nails and do not come out looking clean. There is a visible gap underneath the gelx nail when viewed closely, which now I have to make sure nothing gets stuck in that gap. For the amount of money I spend, I'm hoping to go somewhere that would take their time applying the nails and not have a crazy amount of glue. My cuticles were not even touched. As much I love Mya's French, I won't be returning. read more

This place is the cutest! Me and my daughter were in need of pedicures one Sunday - we'd driven by this location almost daily as it is sooo close to our home. Finally we had a chance to stop in. This place boasts well rounded service: a menu of spa services that include facials and eyelashes. What's more is they offer complimentary drinks: mimosas, soda, and coffee (the coffee hit the spot!). We were "walk-ins" but I'd suggest making an appointment ahead of time. It seems like they can become busy. The store is split in two with spa chairs lining all three walls and three bays for acrylic nail design. Service was great and we were taken care of. The vibe is bright and cheerful. Reception staff took good care of us. The only *minor* drawback is that it appeared the workers had their children there - I imagine this isn't the case all the time, so I can overlook it. The kids were cute, well-behaved, and amused me. But, I don't know other customers' threshold for mixing family with business. We were pleased with our pedicures and service and will return. Prices were moderate but well worth it! read more

I have half of the nail underneath without the glue and the other half w it too high. If I don't like it I'll say something, but she just kept commenting that I should lean back and I look uncomfortable the whole time. I found KK Nails through Yelp and I must say I am very impressed with how the nails came out. My best friend and I stopped in on a Wednesday afternoon and it was jam packed but we waited not even 10 minutes before we were being serviced. The salon looks clean and organized and you definitely feel luxurious being there. We got pedicures and gel x nails for both of us with a few extras and the price was so worth it for how long our nails lasted and how they still looked freshly done.
