My first experience was amazing! I had Hanna. I literally walked in and they accommodated me. I waited about 30-40ish minutes which I didn't mind. She took her time with my gel mani/pedi and I loved my first experience. She also made small talk. My second experience was two weeks after to get a gel mani and I had the male owner; i didn't really enjoy that experience at all. I actually called to make an appt the day prior. I still had to wait about 15-20 minutes which wasn't the problem. The problem was when I saw down several walk ins came and he RUSHED my gel mani to the point that my gel came off the next day and only a portion of my nails actually had color on them. I should have took a photo but I didn't. I don't like to talk bad about a small business but that type of service is unacceptable to me. I wanted to call to complain or go back but I honestly didn't have time bc I have two young ones at home and going to get these services are a luxury. I haven't gone back since. If I do go back, I'll ask for Hanna. I probably wont though. read more

I've been here before for a gel manicure and it was done very well, but I just came this morning to get acrylics because I'm having a baby soon and wanted my nails to last until then... everything was fine until the messy paint job. My cousin and I went Saturday for a pedicure. We are very picky and wanted to try this recommended location. Our main thing is cleanliness. This location is fairly new. The tools were sterilized and packaged which was a plus. There were plastic covers over the foot tubs. New files were used. There were also many beautiful colors to choose from. I am so glad my gf drove by and found this gem. She called and made an appt right when they opened and was able to get 2 gel pedicures within the same day. The store is new and have been opened for just about 2 months. But the owners have had their salon in Hollywood for over 15yrs. They closed that store down and opened a new one here in Covina. The male and female were the only ones working.. Not sure if there are other techs.. But they were so nice and friendly. They speak English and was polite. I had to bring my daughter and he offered her juice and didn't budge about her in the seat next to me. The shop looks newly remodeled, so everything looks nice, new and clean. The owners relocated their business from Hollywood to here and have over 15 years of experience. Hahna and Justin did our pedis and were really nice and professional. If I could give zero stars I would. This was literally the worst pedicure I've ever had in my life. I called to see if they could take my friend and I and the lady said to come in at 5pm. We show up and she looks at us like what are you doing here. We sit in the chairs and it felt like they were racing to finish us. The man I had cut my toe and I was bleeding. Then when I'm he polished my nails he flooded the cuticles with polish and didn't clean my skin at all. Mean while after we sat in the chairs another customer came in with a friend and had to wait because they weren't fully staffed. One of the ladies told the worker "if I have to wait until 530 just cancel me" hence why they were rushing us. Such a horrible experience. Please save yourselves and NEVER get your nails done here. read more

Didn't have a good experience getting a gel manicure with the guy that works here, first I was suppose to have Hannah do them but someone came in for a pedi so she did it and the guy took over my manicure he didn't even cut my cuticles correctly and he was rushing because he had an appointment coming in, he painted my nails horribly didn't even get the sides of my nails it's so sloppy nail polish stuck to my skin. I told him I wasn't happy and then he goes I can cut more of your cuticle like he knew he didn't do them correctly! I will never go here again and I thought this was going to be my new spot! I called in to make an appointment for 4:30PM and I was 45 minutes too early. I was asked to wait a few minutes as they had other customers prior to my appointment. (My fault) 10 minutes later, I was seated with Justin. He was very nice and courteous. I was reluctant in choosing the type of nails I wanted to get and I scrolled through Pinterest so many times to find the right length and style I wanted. I've always done Gel X nails as they are the easiest to remove compared to acrylics. Finally, I decided to say fvxx it! And opted for medium length almond nails with the middle and ring finger to be deep french tipped. Justin was very patient with me as I had changed my mind from wanting butterflies in my nails, to adding luxury nail stickers, to a more classy solid/french tip style look. I didn't want to change it over and over again with my indecisive arse so I ended up with nails that would practically go with anything. It was a pleasure getting my nails done with Justin. Every time he finishes a nail, he would ask me to check on it and to have him make any corrections if I wasn't satisfied. Indeed he was very patient with my OCDness. I nitpicked at the tiniest mistakes as I needed my nails to be picture perfect and look what I got! The perfect nails (IMO!) Gel X (depending on length) ranges from $40+ Add designs and additional art work +$5 extra. I believe Blossom Nails has the most detailed nail techs with the most reasonable pricing in the area! Needed to get my nails done last minute and they were able to take me in. Make sure to call ahead of time to know if there's a long wait or not. When I arrived I waited about 20 minutes. I was first assisted by a male nail technician and he did my manicure. It was a quick process; he was efficient and was able to do my requested design (marble nails). I also got a regular pedicure and was helped by one of the female nail techs. Super satisfied with the service here. It's clean, simple and appropriately priced. My gel manicure with design plus regular pedicure cost me about $55+tip. I recommend this place if you are looking for a simple & clean nail salon! read more

I showed the nail tech a picture of what I wanted and he said he could do it, and proceeded to do them poorly. I'm not mad, I'm just upset he said he could it when he clearly couldn't.
