However, I decided to keep an open mind since I've been searching for a reliable salon in the area and haven't found one that truly stands out yet. I arrived about 30 minutes after opening, and the salon was already packed, which I took as a good sign. Fortunately, my wait time was only around 15 minutes. The station where I was seated was clean, and all of the tools appeared well-maintained and hygienic, which immediately made me feel comfortable. The prices were also very reasonable for the services offered. My only suggestion would be to organize or store some of the product boxes out of sight, as it would give the salon a more polished and inviting appearance overall. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY. I've been coming here for years, since they were a little hole-in-the-wall salon on the other side of the shopping center. Unfortunately, the service has really gone downhill. The Asian man at the front is consistently rude, and for the past few months, the nail ladies have been telling me to tip them directly instead of leaving it at the front, which comes to show that the owners are dishonest & greedy. Go somewhere else that appreciates their customers, this is the last time I'll be showing my face here. Today I paid $72 for a $45 deluxe pedicure. Gel is now an additional $15 when it used to be $10, and they charge around $7.50 PER FOOT for French tips. The upcharges are ridiculous. It has been a few years since I had my nails done here. But after struggling to find quality for affordable prices and good time management I decided to return despite the most reviews. I agree with many regarding the worn out and disorganization of the salon however the friendly nature of the owners and techs is still present and shining through. The techs who completed my gel mani and pedi were both friendly, detail oriented and thorough quality work. The clipped cleaning of cuticles and calluses is something many other salons do not do and truly appreciated their work. My gel mani and deluxe pedi were $80 total and was completed within the hour, something that at other salons could cost $100 take 2 hours and still lack the quality. Today I came in for a gel pedicure and manicure. My did my pedicure, and unfortunately I didn't catch the name of the woman who did my manicure. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. My nails look clean, well-shaped, and neat. They did a great job cleaning up my cuticles and calluses, which I really appreciated. The only downside was the cleanliness of the salon--it was a bit dusty and could use more frequent sweeping and general upkeep. This isn't my first time at Diamond Nail Lounge, I come in typically for a hard gel manicure and a pedicure. This salons prices are pretty high but I thought their quality would be better so I didn't mind it at first. Usually my nails come out fine but this last time I went in (10/19) my nails came out extremely lumpy. I could tell they were rushing through my services, as they had many workers doing my nails & they didn't even ask me what type of service I wanted. I'm sad with the way my nails came out, usually my pedicures are fine but my toenail broke immediately after my pedicure. I purposely came knowing that I wasn't going to get the same result as usual and even with that in mind this was a disaster. The pedicure was rushed and poorly done from start to finish. My nails were cut with a cuticle nipper, cuticle care was minimal, and the shaping was uneven even after requesting square nails. The polish application was sloppy and inconsistent. At checkout, I paid exactly the service amount and there was an unprofessional comment made across the room. If you're charging $67, the work should at least reflect that price. To top it off, the polish on my pinkie toe peeled shortly after I got home. For $67, this is unacceptable. Save your money and go somewhere that actually values quality work and professionalism because this place clearly doesn't. read more

Decided to give this place a shot again never going back. I gave it a shot just because they do have some talented manicurist in the back but other than that they charged me $60 for my five-year-old polish on her hands and toes that is crazy never had paid that much called and complain. Man said they put gel on her nails profusely kept saying I didn't want gel on her to three ladies he offered me a refund of $10 which is crazy $50 for a kid polish. Mind you I'm already getting my full set and toes done and paying them a good amount of money for that and they want to overcharge me on my daughter, also don't know how they did gel if I saw no light cure and saw the lady fanning her nails. They usually love to charge more when you get to the register too. Maybe ask ahead of time how much before anything is done. I come here all the time and get the same thing most the time. My usual salon double booked and didn't account for time for my pedicure so I had a quickly find somewhere to get a last minute pedicure before my trip. I pass by here often so I decided to look it up and try it out. They do take walk-ins and I was able to be taken in immediately on a Saturday morning. It is $52 for an OPI pedicure treatment which includes callus treatment, cooling gel, exfoliate, mask, and a 10 minute lotion massage on top of the pedicure with gel polish ($40 with regular polish). I've never had a pedicure massage this thorough and with so many layers so it was a wonderful experience indeed. My usual salon really only does a quick exfoliation and the polish for about the same price so I am getting way more out of it here. Be aware that it is cash only here but they do have an ATM on site. The whole process took about an hour just for my feet so it was a great experience for the price. read more

These ones are too thick and they CURED THE GLUE ON MY SKIN which is really dangerous. Each nail as they cured hurt and I let them know but they didn't care. On top of the horrible gel x, the pedicure was not good either. I had gel dried on my skin on my feet, which is also really dangerous because of contact dermatitis. You'll get fungus! I have been going to my nail tech for 10 years at a different location but due to her health--she was unable to service my appointment that day. I decided to go to Diamond Nail Lounge as I had driven by when going to UPS many times. The chairs, tools, and equipment looked sketchy (not sanitary)-- the pedi tech left a customer and came right to me which made me wonder if she'd even changed the tools. I decided to take a risk and get a mani pedi since I had an event that night and was out of time. Two and a half weeks later: FUNGUS!!! Side note: I thought I saw the pedi tech use a nail clipper that had skin on it--between the clasps. I didn't want to be rude and thought maybe I was seeing things. I was not wrong. My otherwise healthy feet are now scaling, itchy, tingling and have fungus. I have never in the last 10 years have had this problem with my nail tech. I have to go to the doctor now. Go there--if you want to catch crap. They are all about keeping every customer and making that dollar that they don't even take the time to take proper practice. read more

I usually enjoy coming here because of their huge selection of pedicure upgrades. Gel pedicure came out nice but hours after I got home my foot started hurting so bad. Finally, I went to urgent care because the swelling got so bad on my big toe. Turns out I had a huge bacterial infection caused by dirty tools. I had massive infection where I had to take antibiotics twice a day for seven days, with the chance of losing my big to nail. Fortunately, my toe nail was spared. This caused me to miss work, and really impeded my wellbeing. Please do your due diligence and clean your tools. Your establishment costed me nearly a month of pain and agony not to mention additional cost for my medical expenses. read more

The issue was with the owner (the man at the front desk). I had a full set done by him, and within a week, my nails began breaking. From the start, it felt rushed--he was doing my nails while also helping customers at the front desk. I understand he has other responsibilities, but I would have much preferred the focused attention I've always received from the ladies. Instead, it felt like he just wanted to finish quickly and move on. When my nails broke, I came back several times for fixes since they were so new. Each visit was on a different day, and I was charged different amounts--sometimes up to $10 per nail. At that point, the cost and inconvenience outweighed the service. What made my final decision to stop coming here was the lack of accountability. The owner never acknowledged that the poor quality was the reason I kept returning, which was both frustrating and disappointing. Again, I want to emphasize that the ladies here have always done great work--I never had these issues with them. But overall, the experience with the owner was frustrating, expensive, and exhausting.
