Discriminatory and unwelcoming to LGBTQIA+ community. Do not give your business to them. I was referred to this salon by a family member who regularly gets her nails done here. I was told to ask for Henry. When I called to confirm, Henry answered and said he will not do men's nails. You would think that if Henry was so concerned about conforming to societal gender norms he would've chosen a different profession. Instead, he chooses the masculine and machismo job of painting pink glitter and cute shapes on women's hands. I urge you all (male, female, or gender non-conforming) to avoid this place altogether. 0 stars. read more

Quality of the work is like anywhere else you might go. The place is clean. The reason for the 3 stars is their terrible system of booking and keeping appointments. I get that it's hard all over and people are desperate for business, even walk ins, but don't punish clientele that takes the time to make an appointment. My appointment was for 12:15. When I arrived at 12:12, he had someone in the chair and was barely filing with the drill...finally he had someone else start my fill at 12:30! Next time this happens I will walk out and go somewhere else where they respect their customers time. read more

Gave this place another try, first time back was ok ended up returning a week later for a new gel pedi and manicure dip. Not only did they hurt me, my left hand two fingers are cut and my left toe still sore from older gentleman digging in i had no idea what he was doing I don't think he did either and not even a week later my nails are falling apart! Smh read more

Don't do gel nails with HENRY! I paid 70.00 one flipped off same day I went back he put back on. The next day it fell off again with another 4 nails!! I called him and took pictures to tell him they are flipping off. I could not go the next day again my mother passed. I made an appt with him and he knew they came off. I usually had they done with his BRO but every time I make an appointment with him he takes someone else because he knows them. I told him why should I pay if they fell of and I called and took pictures. Henry had the nerve to say a 5.00 discount. I usually spend 50.00 on pedicures. I have NEVER had this problem he used some little light from the dollar store to set the gel which was to thin apparently. They have lost a customer. read more

So disappointing. Went in for a gel pedi/mani and everything went fine. Couple days later, the gel on my dinner nails starts lifting up, so of course, peeled them all off. It's upsetting when you come in and pay 60$ just for a mani pedi and it ends up coming off within a week. read more

First time here. Came in to get my daughters nails done for the first time. CHI was soo nice with my daughter and she made it a pleasant experience. My daughter is super in love with her nails. Two stars because my pedicure was okay - albeit rushed because the lady had another appointment Bad manicure experience - one of my other nails was nicked while she was painting on my design but she didn't go over to fix it. SHAME ON YOU CHANEL!!! I have been going to Chanel every two weeks since she opened the shop... overtime her work got sloppy and she was always irritated. I noticed she was constantly talking to her coworkers in their language every time I came in, so I decided to record her... I am actually shocked, not only was she making rude comments about myself but she and her coworkers were also commenting on my 8 year old daughter!!! Mind you I have a been a faithful customer for years!! SHAME ON CHANEL!! This is why she only has two employees and her shop is always empty, how dare you talk about a child!! read more

I'm giving 5 stars to Jay. I have been to this salon about a handful of times only because I'm trying to find a place closer to where I live and I'm rather picky. The first two times I only got pedicures. Gel and callus remover. They were not to my satisfaction but they did the job and at the very least didn't rush. This last time I got a pedi and full set. I walked out of there with the mindset that I was never going to go back even though for the first time, my pedicure was the best I have EVER had, my nails were horrendous. Normally, I bite my tongue, pay and just never return. This time. For the pretty penny I paid, I figured- I should speak up. I addressed my concerns with Jay and he was more than willing to fix and makeup for this experience. He advised me to return the following day and he'll fix it all. I was still hesitant but I left that evening feeling somewhat of a relief. The next day on my way home from work I gave the salon a call so Jay had a heads up I was on my way. I walked in not knowing what to expect with their attitudes and my nails. But, I'm glad I took a chance with Jay. I see his work and I see Henry's and they are by far the best. I absolutely love my nails and I've already requested another appointment that I'm waiting on confirmation for. read more

I would totally recommend this nail salon. Henry and Jay are one of my favorites. They pay attention to detail and make sure that I am satisfied with my nails before I leave. Their shaping, designs, and experience are top notch. My sister drives from Santa Barbara because she was very happy with her nails the first time. The staff is very friendly. I gave a one star because Jasmine who is a nail tech was really nice. I went in for a pedicure and fill. Upon getting my pedicure I noticed a red mark on my right big toe. When I asked the lady whom was doing my pedicure if I was bleeding she looked at me puzzled and continued the pedicure. I then asked again in which a nail tech whose station is towards the back got up and looked at my toe. She proceeded to wipe it with the towel and said everything was fine. Once my pedicure was complete, I looked at my toe and notice that I was cut on the side of my toe. I also noticed that my toe nail was slated. The same nail tech who sits in the back came, looked at my toe nail and noticed it was slated. She proceeded to grab a nail clipper to fix it. Before I could stop her and tell her the lady who did my pedicure was cleaning soiled tools and putting them in the container she grabbed the nail clipper from she cut my toe nail which caused me to bleed. It was so painful and bleed a decent amount. I understand things happened however it's unacceptable to not only cut someone but to cause potential infection. The entire staff was not bothered by it and the nail tech kept saying the tool was clean. I had to explain to her and show her that the box she grabbed the nail clipper from had several tools in it which soiled tools was placed in it. Staff seemed unbothered, manager didn't even come talk to me. As a professional business I would assume someone would have at least come talk to me. worst ever! I usually get gel x done by his brother but Of course he always takes another person instead of my appoinment Soooo HENRY did my gel x. I get home one nail flipped off. I went in he glued it back. By the next day that one flipped off plus ANOTHER 4!! I called he wanted me to come in to re glue/gel them. I couldn't go in my mother passed away. So I took pictures and made appt today. I went in the Did NOT want to give me a new set. He had the nerve to say 5.00 discount. I paid 70.00 and they weren't even long. I walked out I ll be loading pictures of nails. I use to get Pedis there for 50.00 so they lost a customer. read more

Never in my life coming back to this spot... $70 for nails that I hated and asked to have fixed ... didn't even get the option to fix them how I wanted them just got a plain color put over, they charged $18 for my sons pedicure which by the way he didn't get any color on his toes.. the owner wasn't even apologetic for his employees shitty work... VERY BAD FOR BUSINESS .. and waaaayyyy over priced.. who charges $70 for this trash ?? read more

Went in and asked for what I thought was a very basic design, flowers and chrome/glitter polish. The nail tech seemed new and the flowers were not coming out good. Once I asked him to remove them he became very rude and snippy with me. He became super angry and was giving me attitude saying "so what do you want now?" I asked for stars instead and he used nail stickers. After so many top coat layers, my nails looked clumpy and messy. I would not recommend this place at all. I was over him being rude so I paid and went straight to the nail salon down the street to redo my nails. Was a complete waste of money and time. read more

Long story short: I was taken here by a friend to get my nails done for my wedding day. I had to get them re-done three times and still left unsatisfied. Details: My friend, who comes here all the time, took me here to get my nails done for my wedding day. I asked for matte burgundy coffin-shaped nails with a silver glitter accent on both ring fingers. They kept asking why I wanted matte, and that I should get something shiny. I said no thanks, that's what I wanted. They mentioned it at least five or six times and even my friend was saying that I just wanted matte. Fast forward to the manicure. Painful. I would flinch and pull back my hand it hurt so bad and she would just laugh and do it again. She cut my finger and said that's what I get for moving. Then paint. I wanted a dark burgundy to match my bridesmaids dresses. She painted one coat and it looked like bright red. I asked before she painted all of them if she had anything more burgundy colored. She said no, and that she knows what she's doing, and kept painting. My friend said no, she wants something more like burgundy, not this red. She says no again. She finally gets up and gets pretty much the same color and says it's all she has. She continues to paint with the original red. She puts a second coat and it begins to look more like the bottle and she shows me my own fingers and says that she was right. Then the matte. She says again that I should get something shiny. I say no again, that I wanted matte. She painted two thick layers of matte and tells me I'm done. I go to the hand dryer and notice white specks all over my nails. We asked her to fix it. She tries to remove polish in little dots, leaving thick craters in my nails. Then she just puts a different top coat than the first time over top. Some she removed in dots, some she just painted over completely. She even painted over nails that didn't need any fixing, making an even thicker coat of polish. I was sent back to the hand dryer. The nails were super thick and lumpy and looked like they'd never dry. We complained to the manager about my nails and my friend's nails, because they were just as bad, if not worse. She seemed understanding, but had the same girl fix them. I get sent back to her station and she said why didn't I say anything when I was over there... I did! I asked her to do less coats this time. She removes all the polish this time, and re-paints them. She did three coats of polish and three more of a thick shiny looking "matte" top coat. We also had my friend's girl fix the glitter nails on both of us. We were in there for about five hours and when I got to my car, a nail smudged from being too thick and unable to dry. Never straying from my regular nail salon ever again. I went in with my beautiful square oval shaped. She asked me what shaped and I said OVAL, she gave me SQUARE.
