I am beyond disappointed with the way my mom was treated during her appointment. She went in excited to get her nails done and came home in tears instead of feeling beautiful. From the moment she chose regular nail polish instead of gel, the staff gave her attitude and made her feel like she was an inconvenience. They told her they didn't even have a fan to dry regular polish because "everyone gets gel," as if choosing a standard manicure wasn't a valid option. When my mom politely mentioned that her polish looked bumpy, instead of fixing it or offering a solution, the nail technician blamed her. She was told it was her fault because she chose regular polish, and that if she had gotten gel, they could have made her nails look nice. They essentially told her that her nails looked bad because of her choice and spoke to her in a condescending, disrespectful way. No paying customer should ever be talked down to or made to feel ashamed for choosing one service over another. If your salon offers regular polish, then it should be applied with the same level of care and professionalism as gel--not used as an opportunity to pressure customers into spending more money. My mom deserved kindness, respect, and quality service. Instead, she left feeling embarrassed, insulted, and crying. That is completely unacceptable. We will never be returning, and I hope the owners seriously address how their customers are treated. No one should leave a nail salon feeling worse than when they walked in. I love my nails! Request for Ann!! I got a mani and pedi in preparation for my graduation. I wasn't sure what I wanted walking into my appointment, but I had a few inspo pics for french tips. Ann was super nice, sweet, and helpful!! I wasn't sure about the pink nude colors, but Ann swatched the options on my fingers and let me see which was better! When she asked me about other preferences, I told her to do what is best and she did not disappoint! I'm OBSESSED with my nails! The pictures do not do it justice!! I was really trying to give a new salon the benefit of the doubt but I guess this nail salon was another disappointment. I came in today to get a spa pedicure with gel polish and French tip. I just wanted to relax after a long day and also since I work tomorrow. I cannot believe how rushed my service was compared to everyone else there. I'm also a licensed manicurist so I was very observant during my service. The lady in front said it was 54$ for the service that included my spa pedicure and callus remover and gel polish. I had leftover gel polish still on and the technician drilled it off but the drill bit looked so easy like it wasn't disinfected I was getting nervous because I know it's easy to catch infections. She put acetone but didn't let it sit usually at most can take 10 minutes but with mine probably at 8 at most. It was so noticeable there was still leftover gel polish but she said she'll buff it off. She did the callus remover but only left it on for a minute. When she started scrubbing it off she was so rough it started to feel uncomfortable. When she did my frenchies she did a soft square shape after I said I wanted it straight and square she kept saying the shape of nail wasn't gonna make that request work, which is crazy because that's never happened. I was confused when she didn't use the sugar scrub which was listed as part of the service and she said that would be extra when the menu didn't state it would be an extra. I felt like I was being played in my face I wanted to speak up more but i already felt uncomfortable and embarrassed. The technician didn't even take her time to do a good lotion massage it was like 2 minutes tops!! The other technicians were taking their time so I'm thinking what's the rush?? I came to get my moneys worth and to relax I guess I should've listened to the other reviews. This salon needs to do better with their management and cleanliness this is why people go to private nail technicians because places like this are chop shops. I had a HORRIBLE service today! I had to wait over an hour for a polish change. They took a Man before me even though I got there before him. Normally when I get my polish changed the fill tge pedi bowl with water and soak and wash my feet. I asked Julie the lady that was giving me a polish change to fill the pedi bowl with water and wash my feet and she refused. Then she told me it would be $35 instead of $30 dollars for my polish change. After she was done polishing my toe nails I asked her to wet a towel and clean the rest of dust off my feet and she refused! She said she was going to clean them with alcohol. After she was done my feet looked horrible and ashy! I will never go there again. I had been going there for over 5 years. They are no longer a modern nail salon. Oh how i should have checked the reviews prior to walking in spontaneously. I got a gel mani pedi with the same color, somehow my.manicure and pedicure came out two different shades of the same color. My manicure was wildly uneven, the nail color was lumpy and my nails have these bubbled ends to them, and the lengths are not uniform on each hand. The woman doing my manicure kept texting on her phone or taking phone calls, getting up and talking to other ladies working; just generally not paying attention which is why my nails look like an effing dumpster fire. The staff working here are some of the most rudest people. I took my daughter with me to get gel mani. They were upset at my daughter for taking her time to choose the color of polish she wants even though they were still prepping her nails. The staff of about 3-4 people were all talking smack about my daughter in Vietnamese and then proceeded on talking smack about me because the of the color I chose to paint my nails. They didn't realize I understood them until I finally told them I knew what they were saying. They were unapologetic and their work was very sloppy. I had to fix my nails as well as my daughter's nails when we got home due to the gel paint pooling in the corners of the nail bed. Went in today on a walk in appointment. I was helped right away for a mani and pedi. The woman doing my fill was upset about me asking for power ombré dip instead of the regular acrylic. Pedicure was fine but what has me questioning now the cleanliness of this place and work ethic is the woman who did my pedicure when finished went on to the next client (a little girl no older than 10y/o). I observed her and realized she only got a new plastic lining for the tub and a foot scrub but did not pick up new sanitized nail clippers and tried using the same instructions she had used on me with the little girl which is extremely unhygienic and can potentially lead to feet/ toe nail infections. When addressed she and the owners son dismissed it by saying they were still clean. Will I be going back, no. It's evident they do not care about following proper sanitation standards. I haven't been here in years, used to get my nails done by Lyn but she's gone, so I decided to try coming back. I needed fills done asked 4 gel well they have gel polish and gel powder I told her my nails are gel powdered and then she had this lost look on her face and told the other lady something that was sitting on the side where they had gel powder but continued doing my nails she asked me to choose a color which was white with glitter, I asked to change the style of my nails and she complied and did the pointed style but then she says dark color nails look better with that style so I changed the color to grey. While sitting there I asked do you know how to do designs and she says yes just show her a picture, so I'm scrolling looking at different photos... she's almost done and I ask her ok can you do hibiscus flowers and looks lost again and says I can't do it.. I say you can't? I said like you don't know how and she said no time .. hmm ok so I go wash my hands and meet my daughter who finished getting her pedicure on the other side and see the lady who did my nails start on a pedicure!
