Once again I was on the search for a good pedicure place. Our friend recommended Eiffel to us. Naomi and Mary make you feel at home instantly. And once they warm up to you they are great to talk to and joke with. Naomi has been excellent with me! She is very thorough and explains how to prevent uncomfortable if not painful situations with ingrown nails. Maybe it helped that she already knew our friend who recommended us but we instantly felt relaxed while they worked. Its a little drive for me but so far it is well worth it. Called in for a pedicure, was told there was availability if I came into the establishment w/in 10mins. I arrived, was told where to sit at pedicure seat. I was then asked did I have gel on my toes, which I replied "yes". I asked was that ok and KIMMY ( as her clients called out ) said " As long as your money's good". I then walked out of the establishment. Not a business worth going to in Covina. There are much more respectable nail techs in the area, this is not one of them. read more

The owner Kim is very skilled and knowledgeable in all things nails, and has been helpful with issues involving my feet. Today Kim worked on my pedicure while William gave me a manicure. I came here for a quick last minute mani pedi and it was really weird that they didn't have any sort of a pricing menu. I paid $72 for a gel mani/pedi which wasn't bad but I don't personally think I'd come back. The staff was nice but the vibe wasn't it for me. It was very bare inside and very quiet, not even a tv on...Another thing that I thought was strange was they painted my toes before giving me the spa treatment (scrub, lotion, etc) and I was also disappointed in the options considering there was nothing to go off of because I typically upgrade my pedicures. I really wasn't fond of the color I chose for my nails, but I didn't have the heart to ask them to redo it. Let me be clear...this review is for my nail technician Mary & ONLY Mary! I have been to multiple other technicians here & would give them all 3-4 stars (except the male nail tech, I'd give him a ZERO! DO NOT use him!) but Mary is 5 stars all the way! I will also be clear that you will NOT want to come here if you are expecting pretty designs or anything "specialty." This is a simple mani/pedi joint & Mary is the best at it! She's so careful & meticulous. I could never get my nails to grow well until I started seeing Mary regularly. I get a gel mani & regular pedi & go every 3 weeks religiously. I use this place because it's close to home and Kim is always accommodating. I had bad experience with recent manicure, he left acrylics too thick and square. I went back for fill and this time Kim took me after looking at my nails questioned who did them and left them so thick and square. I told her the male staff had done them two weeks prior. She immediately questioned him about it and they exchanged comments that I couldn't understand. She then said to me she would fix them and proceeded to file them down to make thinner and reshaped them before handing me over to him. He seemed bothered and again questioned me who did my nails last time. I informed him he had done them and then rolled his eyes. Very uncomfortable 45 minutes with him. I despite this I went back. This time only for pedicure. I'm not sure exactly what she did but I felt cut to big toe but she quickly squeezed and cleaned and assured me it okay. By next day my toe throbbing and couldn't wear shoe all week. Too many chances , won't be back. read more

This place was extreamly accommodating, they took three walk-ins on the spot. The pricing is quite fair and if it were not for some.inconsistancies, I would be leaving a 5 star review. Pros: Quality of work from Kristy, on a full set of nails with gel polish, was fanominal! The colors on my two friends nails and my own were beautiful. For the most part, costumer service was great. Cons: Pricing and skill of nail artists was inconsistent. Between the three of us getting our nails done we were charged different prices and we each had a different quality paint job. Lastly, they do not do many designs here at all and had to try multiple times on the designs they did attempt. Overall, two of us would deffinately come back, one would will not. We waited for a long time, and then they started. I got the only male nail tech there. He was very quick, it was concerning. He poked and stabbed and burnt me with the drill. His fingers were stabbing into my skin. I had asked him to file one single nail because one nail was wider than the other. He very rudely asked "WHY?!" and then insisted that it was because my nail bed was way wider. (I've never had this issue in the past for any nail tech.)My pinky nail is also way shorter than the other nails. When he was done, he just got up and went to another customer. I love this place. The gel nail polish is so neat and even. There are no bumps. Its been a week since I got my nails done and they havent chipped at all. I will be returning to this place. I didnt get the name of the woman who did my nails but she was gentle and the polish is flawless. Plus she didnt whisper anything in a language I cant understand to her coworkers. Great place. I think I found my regular nail place lol Before this place I went to another nail salon, the lady had cut me, she was rude and kept talking to her workeorker in a language I didnt understand. The polish was bumpy, and started rising after the third day. THE ONLY BAD THING: They dont have a wide selection on gel dark green nail polish. Green is my favorite color and I just wish they had more of it. I love dark colors but we will see what other options they have. PERKS: The gel polish is clean, smooth, and lasts a long time. WORST PEDICURE OF MY LIFE!!!! DO NOT I REPEAT DOOOO NOOOOT get a pedicure here, worst place to come for one. I came in about 2 weeks ago for just a pedicure I was seated quickly (which I liked) once I was seated the lady started. She dug in so deep into my toe nails that I couldn't hold it in and told her to go gently, thinking she would she kept going in so deep I told her TWO more times and nothing changed. Right when I got up I couldn't walk my toes were swollen super red and with pus coming out. The next day I went to where I usually go get pedicures (Expert Nails in West Covina SO RECOMMEND THIS PLACE ask for Linda) and the lady told me she couldn't fix it because my toes were to swollen. A week passed and my toes were STILL swollen now purple hurting so bad my skin is peeling and still with puss coming out. I went yesterday to Expert Nails to find out I now have ingrown toe nails on BOTH of my toes! DO NOT COME HERE AT ALL! I should have NEVER paid them!!! And I'm upset I cannot give -5 fucking stars! I started coming here after another place kept cutting my cuticles with the dremmel machine that is used on the acrylic nails. When you have your fingers cut not once but two times on different occasions with the machine you can bet you're in terror any subsequent times you want to get your nails done. It's scary. I came to Kim on recommendation from one of my roommates and love the way she does acrylic nails. Very narrow and thin. Thick nails look chunky and over built, which sometimes happens when you get fills a lot over the original nail. So far that has not happened which I appreciate because if my nails get too thick I can't open the little charging port door on my Samsung Galaxy phone. Today I am here at Eiffel getting a pedicure for the first time and I really like this shop. They have no TV, which I appreciate because TV is distracting and non rwlaxing, especially if you are forced to listen to lame day-time TV programming and (even worse) daytime commercials. So to start off with this little hole-in-the-wall nail salon ,I figured what a great deal they're going to have here. I walk in and my friend and I asked to be seated next to each other. We had already called on the phone to make sure they had availability for two walk ins. Unfortunately they were unable to sit us next to each other even though they had plenty of stations available. We sat down to begin getting our nails done. They seemed friendly in the beginning but quickly became became sneaky. My friend had called on the phone and asked to get a full set with gel they said $30. As we walk in we show her exactly what we want done for our nails and she says no problem. We both separately we're getting our nails done but we're talking throughout the process. My friends Nails took about an hour, my nails took 2 hours and a half possibly. Not much extra design was done to my nail in comparison to my friend. She only had a slight bit of glitter applied to her nails and I had a really shitty bow put onto my nails with a weak little diamond. We go to pay my nails come out to $43 and I'm in complete shock for the quality of my nails. As you can see the pictures I posted this is far from quality. My friend goes to make her payment and they tell her it's $36. We were completely shocked that they told us $36 for her nails when they didn't inform us that there was an extra charge to apply a slight amount of glitter. No designing skill necessary to add the glitter but charged an additional $6. We go to make the payment as the manager tells us it's okay on the $6 payment. She then runs my friends card comma and not until after she runs the card tells her there's an additional dollar charge. Extremely upsetting to me the amount of communication problems they have here. I do not recommend you spend your hard earned money here!!! read more

They honestly were so horrible to me, it was my 1st time trying the place and they gave me a guy who hit my hand everytime he needled me to switch and I mean he didn't just tap he hit. i had showed the exact design and nail I wanted before he started and he said okay. After he finished shaping he tells me he can't do the design....... I had to come back the next day just for the owner to fix his mistakes and she was still trying to charge me more money to do a design.
