When HomeTeam stopped servicing our area, he started Premier Pest Services West and asked me to continue as his customer. In the beginning, the service was good. My regular service included spraying the perimeter, entry points, garage, walkways, and bushes, removing cobwebs, removing reachable wasp nests, and treating the in-wall Taexx system. Because of that, I trusted him and recommended him to other homeowners in our community. Over time, I started hearing concerns from other homeowners that the service quality had gone down. I did not want to assume anything, so I checked my own camera footage. What I saw was disappointing. On multiple visits, the technician appeared to be on the property for only about 3 minutes. The service did not appear to include the same work we were paying for, including cobweb removal and a full perimeter treatment. In the footage and photos I reviewed, the Taexx cover did not appear to be opened. Instead, it appeared the technician sprayed around and over the closed cover. Several homeowners also complained after reviewing their own camera footage. After those complaints, Premier Pest Services West returned to re-service some of the homes, which added to my concern that the original visits were not being completed as expected. Treating the Taexx system was part of the service we expected, so I later contacted HomeTeam Pest Defense to ask about the system. I was told that former employees were required to return their Taexx keys, and that properly treating the system requires opening the cover with a proprietary key and using the proper equipment to treat the individual lines inside the wall system. Spraying the closed cover is not the same as treating the system. I gave Premier Pest Services West the benefit of the doubt at first, but the same issue happened again. After that, I and other homeowners tried calling and texting several times, but we did not receive a response. Based on my experience, my camera footage, the photos and footage I reviewed from other homeowners, my follow-up with HomeTeam, the repeated visits that appeared incomplete, and the lack of response, I lost confidence in the service and canceled. I would not recommend Premier Pest Services West based on the service we received.

Their one-time fees were way too high and didn't even come with a warranty. Then I found Maria. She was a total breath of fresh air--she offered me a one-time service at a great price and even included a 6-month warranty. Her crew came out and did a perimeter spray and treated the baseboards inside with stuff that's safe for pets, which was a huge relief. The treatment worked perfectly. I didn't see a single ant for eight months. I just called them back out for a preventative spray, and Maria was able to get them here the same day for the exact same price as last year. If you want someone who is fair, fast, and actually gets the job done without the high-pressure sales tactics, call Maria. They're the best!

No issues on the termite side--they're responsive, thorough, and quick to come out if we think we're seeing activity between annual visits. We also hired them to deal with rats in the attic. They inspected the house, sealed the entry points, set traps, and came back several times to check on things. But after our handyman found a fourth dead rat--after Pacific Coast had already declared us rat-free--I used our warranty and asked for a reinspection. They came out right away. Turns out the previous inspector hadn't done the job correctly, so the supervisor stepped in, handled everything, and reinspected the entire property. Since then, we've been rat-free. Pacific Coast's pricing is fair, and they do make things right when something slips through. One thing I'd love for them to update: the payment process. They're still mailing paper invoices where you write down your credit card number or send a check--or you call and read your card number over the phone. It's 2025. Please give customers an online payment option. Overall, we'll continue using them. They're solid--and they stand behind their work.
