Came here on a weekday morning for a spontaneous brunch and I was quite impressed by the variety of great Asian food and drinks! The spam musubi had too much rice and the HK milk tea was a bit too bitter for my tastes, but the fries were good and the garlic aioli is to-die-for. Small, cozy little boba shop in the Mission district. Doesn't really have seating, but there's a little nook with a ledge by the widow you can sit by and use as a table if it's available. Ordered the Twin Peaks fruit tea and the karaage and both were good. Overall I think both were good for what you spend. Owner was really nice and the employees were very accommodating. Whenever I'm in the Mission district or going to Dolores Park, I like to stop by here to pick up some snacks and drinks. I usually order in advance for pick up so I don't have to wait long. Most of the time they get my order right but there were a few instances where they got it wrong and by the time I realized it, I'm too far. For example, I ordered a Hojicha strawberry latte but got matcha instead, or I requested less ice but got a lot of ice. Not a big deal. The staffs were always calm and friendly and I like their drinks and snacks. Note their tonkatsu musubi is much smaller than standard spam musubis. Sometimes they are inconsistent with their snacks. The first time I ordered fried octopus I received lemon slices then the last 2 times I ordered it I didn't get any. Their popcorn chicken is very generous. The lid barely closes. I remember the first time I came during pandemic, they only took order and served the drink via the small front window. Beside boba milk tea, they also have fruit tea, small bites. They even have half gallon size. The drink is customizable like sweetness, ice level, milk option , size and milk choice. Update as of 8/31/2026 Heavily disappointed in a once great boba spot for me. We were in the area and walked past several other boba shops to go here. I ordered delivery before and the quality already went down but I was hoping it was a fluke. It wasn't. The drinks we had in the past and/or saw in menu pics online that we wanted to try - not available anymore. Okay. We ordered from what was on the new menu.. They also charge me $0.75 for no ice...AND THEN NOT EVEN FILLING MY CUP UP (see pic). This is ridiculous. I am paying additional for "no ice", which i already don't like. I decided to try the Pacific Heights: seasonal pineapple and lime fruit tea, uses jasmine tea. I set it to easy (30) sweet, easy ice, and I opted for a straw which is compostable. At the time, it would have costed $0.85 more if wanted to upgrade to large. You can order with a kiosk in the store, and it was made within 3 minutes. LOVE this place! We visited from San Diego and this was recommended by my local friends. It's hard to find a boba place that also has non caffeine options for the kiddos (or preggo mamas) and the mango drink we ordered wasnt too sweet for my toddler and she truly did not want to share . I am on the hunt for the ultimate popcorn chicken and this place was a complete DISAPPOINTMENT!! I ordered delivery (this was the second time and I rely on it due to being disabled) and tried to call the restaurant at least 8 times (because there is no place in the DD app to request anything) but there was no answer. I had an amazing time at District Tea. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with hospitality and quick service. I wasn't sure what I should order from their menu because they have a variety of options so I asked for a recommendation. The katsu sando and the mung bean latte were recommended to me so I ordered those two. The katsu sando was the perfect size for a quick bite and was crispy and juicy with just the right amount of filling inside. Some places stuff their katsu sando so much that the filling falls out and makes it messy to eat but this had the perfect amount for me. The mung bean latte was not too sweet and tasted amazing, like I was eating a mung bean ice cream! You could tell they used real mung beans to make the latte and not any powder or syrups. As a heads up for people visiting for the first time, there isn't a sit-down area with chairs inside but it's very clean and spacious, especially for those who would like to stand inside to wait for their drinks and food instead of waiting outside on the street in the sun. Definitely check this place out if you're in the area. There's not much free street parking but if you're nearby Dolores Park or on Valencia Street, it's definitely worth the walk to get a snack and drink from here! read more

We ordered the iced Grass jelly, hot sweet potato latte, and hot Hojicha tea crema. The ice grass jelly was pretty tasty although quite sweet even with low sugar we were impressed with the sweet potato latte. It was really good, slightly sweet but not overpowering. Even though I did not get the Hojicha with milk, the salted caramel cream was strong enough to taste like milk tea. The service was quick. The place was to go only, no table nothing. It was cold outside, so we actually ate by the counter. I think it would be nice to have some standing tables available. Everything was great, but for almost 7 dollars a drink for a tiny cup was not worth it. We strongly feel like the drinks with that price should be automatically the large. read more

It seemed like they had just started preparing it, which I understand since they want to serve fresh food. I couldn't walk back to complain, because I was working, so I tried to call. Nobody picks up. I called probably 3x before I decided to leave a message. I explained the issue and left my phone number for them to return my call. Nothing. By the time I was done with my day, they were already closed. You would think they would want to fix this issue- but no. Never received a call back. Never supporting this business again. Drinks were good so not a complete loss. Very solid place to to fulfill your boba or fun drink craving!  It was a cold rainy night and we wanted something warm to drink and decided to pop in and peruse the menu. A hot HK milk tea sounded like a solid choice. It turned out to be the perfect thing to warm us up while we walked around the Mission. Not too sweet and had a strong tea taste but not bitter at all.  Their in store ordering system was out of order so we ordered with the cashier. While waiting for my drink, I was surprised to see they had such an extensive drink and food menu from onigiris to Korean corn dogs! They also offer to remake any drink that you might not like which I found to be really nice and made it less scary to find something new to try. I visited in the summer. For starters, I ordered a mason jar mug because I'm a collector for reusable boba cups and they skipped it entirely. I had to wait a few minutes to even get the attention of the worker and tell it to them, to which they simply looked at the order and said "oh you did" and handed me one. No apology, no emotion, as if I was being told "here you go, get out of here." I can understand a long, busy day or whatever, but stuff like this definitely leaves an impression. Hong Kong Milk Tea with Boba - boba was alright, a bit too soft as if overcooked. Not a lot of flavor with the boba either. Flavor wise, the boba was average and on par with a lot of boba here. Tea was pretty strong and powerful in the drink. I threw away the cup with some boba left but finished the drink so I loved the tea but would skip the boba. That being said, I can understand one-off experiences so I figure there's potential to revisit in the future and see if I was just unlucky. read more
