Extremely disappointing experience. We ordered a simple musubi and waited nearly 20 minutes for it, even though there were no customers ahead of us and only two staff members working. The wait time made absolutely no sense for such a basic order. Service was also careless and disorganized. My son asked for hot sauce and was ignored -- the staff member literally walked away and never brought it. We also requested a carry bag and didn't receive one, which made it difficult to even transport the food properly. To make things worse, the musubi was drenched in mayo to the point it was messy and hard to eat, and we weren't given any utensils or even napkins. For a place serving food on the go, that's just not acceptable. Overall, slow service, poor attention to basic requests, and a lack of basic customer care. I won't be returning. read more

Solid place for boba, tea, and spam musubi. Boba balls have just the right texture. They have fruit lattes, smoothies, bowls, rolls, and sago too! Lots of lunch options and more drink options than your typical boba place (Cool Bar is more than just a boba place!) You can order ahead online for quick and easy pickup which I've done a few times. Stumbled on this place when walking around the Vanness street area and my friend told me they always have fun deals. The current one when we went was buy one get one free for a black milk tea. You order from the kiosk when entering and they have options from teas to fruit drinks. Our orders came out very quickly, about 10 minutes after, since mine was blended. Mango Sogo - It seems that they use fresh fruit in their drinks as I had a small mango peel in mine but it didn't matter because the drink was the perfect balance of refreshing and sweetness. The blended mango smoothie with the toppings of fresh mango, sago and coconut jellies meshed so well. My friends also really enjoyed their black milk tea and soft boba. I really like that they actually use fresh fruit in their drinks! I got a watermelon juice with boba, and watched them cut open a fresh watermelon for the juice. Way too many places douse their drinks with sugary syrups and instant sugary powders. It's fresh stuff here! Drinks aren't inexpensive, but you get what you pay for. I actually don't mind paying more for quality. Again, they're using fresh fruit. Boba was on point too. Nice and chewy, but not too soft. And none of that hard center. Service was pleasant and efficient. No seating. Essentially a grab and go spot with boba, smoothies, fruit lattes, teas, poke bowls, etc. Only downside is parking. Mainly street parking, which can be difficult. After circling a few times, I got street parking. There's a parking garage directly across the street, but it's $8.00/hour. Durian latte was good! It's kinda pricey (over $9 with tax) and charged $.50 for both nondairy and decaf. It's not too sweet -- in fact I wish it was a little sweeter. I wish there was more durian which would add a bit more sweetness. But it's real fruit which is great, and the drink is so unique and creamy. Definitely worth the try! I've seen this place all over tik tok and they just so happened to open one underneath my office building. I am not a huge espresso drinker but I wanted to try the durian latte. I got it with soy milk. I overheard that they use Italian espresso. The durian chunks are fresh and sweet and it was *almost* well balanced with the espresso. Personally, I'd like a little more sweetener because the durian is the only sweet thing in the latte, but that's also because I'm no avid coffee drinker! I am so excited to go back again and would try a different flavor. My coworker got the avocado latte with whole milk. While she loved how fresh the drink was, she wished there was more espresso in it. It really just depends on the person and what they like to drink. The Sutter Street Cool Bar opened up near me earlier this summer and this place deserves way more reviews. Unfortunately Sutter St isn't a place people go for drinks or food and these guys never put up a Grand Opening sign, so I think it's kind of slept on. I've gotten milk tea, coffee, and fruit smoothies here before but they offer so much more than that. There's poke bowls, sandwhiches, musubis, and all sorts of other foods for your lunch or snack needs. There's desserts too, I definitely saw mango sago. And there's a huge selection of fruit and tea drinks. The very first time I ever tasted durien was when I got their durien smoothie. Partly out of curiosity, partly so that I can say that I've tasted durien before. I actually liked it! But definitely understand that it's not for everybody and wouldn't' recommend it to everybody. This is the kind of place you can come for Asian meals, drinks, and desserts. You don't find them too often in SF and certainly not in the Sutter-VanNess area. Definitely worth a visit! read more

Had order online to pick up my order since it's near work. Had ordered their cheese and egg croissant with an extra egg and a watermelon blueberry smoothie. I know it was going to take at least 10 min since it stated on their online ordering system. So by placing the order around 1330 hrs and the given time wait of 10min with a text confirming that my order should be ready by 1341hrs for pick up. I gave them an extra 10 minutes just to be safe and when I went to go pick it up. They didn't even make my order at all and didn't even know an order came through until I should them my order and text confirmation. Had to wait for another 10 minutes to get my order. Smoothie is always pretty good so I didn't have to work about that. However, the cheese and egg croissant is a huge huge huge disappointment. I had paid for an extra egg, opened it up and there was only one egg. I was cheated out of what I paid for. And to add it on top, when I took a bite it tasted like I took a sip of salt water. Went twice since it's on my way home after work. It's ok. Had a litchee fruit tea my first time and said boba but the guy didn't hear me. It had fresh litchee chunks in it which was nice. The 2nd time i got a jasmine milk tea with boba. The thing I've noticed is their drinks aren't very sweet and they aren't quick to make so it isn't something I'd grab in a rush home. The boba too, isn't in any sugar syrup so it has no sweetness to it. The prices aren't horrible for the basic teas, about $5. read more
