Miss T has become one of my favorite milk tea shops around SF. Last Fall, I was randomly in the area and walked by this shop, decided to give them a try since they have a lot of options and toppings that typical boba joints don't usually offer. They also have a welcoming vibe (the inside and the staff). You can choose to order through a staff or through a kiosk. I usually opt for the kiosk. Prices are about the going rate for drinks these days. Keep in mind that tax is not included in the listed price. Most of my drinks average about $7 to $7.50 after incorporating tax. They also serve hot desserts, which I have yet to try, but looking forward to it. Many places don't have sago, but Miss T has it in a dessert or as a topping in drinks. Quick stop here. Parking is challenging but my husband waited in the car. Started ordering in the tablet but ordered the wrong one. Nice person came to help us order non dairy. I ordered this at the kiosk: (8.5/10) Mix fruit tea - I got the 25% sugar and it was packed with a bunch of different fresh fruits (strawberry, grape, lemon, etc.). The fruit taste was very prominent which I liked. Seemed to be only one large size. I did pay $8.48 for my drink, which is pretty expensive. They have a large selection of food and drink items, however not all the drinks have pictures on the ordering kiosk, so it took me a while to decide. They had some very unique drinks like a 7-up fruit tea. I was the only customer, so wait time was reasonable and service was friendly. The interior was cute and decorated with a bunch of signs and has a couple of tables. The shop has a bell that rings when customers come in, however it kept going off whenever people were just walking by which was a bit annoying. I don't know if I would necessarily pay that much again for a fruit tea, but I might visit to try the food another time! read more

Found this little spot in Chinatown since I was craving a Thai tea. The lady working there was so sweet and kind. My Thai tea wasn't the best I've ever had but hit the spot. My boyfriend enjoyed his milk boba tea too! Nothing over the top, but a nice, simple stop for a yummy drink. read more

This place lowkey slaps. This was my second time trying out more things on the menu. Like I really shouldn't since I'm trying to mind my sugar intake but I'm glad I caved. I forgot what I got last time but I order a drink - something with peach gum and it was also pretty good. This time I tried the jasmine milk tea with butterfly pea jelly. I've never try that jelly before but it was a nice delight. Could have stronger jasmine flavor maybe but still pretty good. I roll the dice with the purple sea star since I had no clue what is supposed to be in there. There's just a lot of good stuff like the big glutinous ball , more butterfly pea jelly, fruits and raisin and it was cover in like a coconut milk or something that was really a delightful combo. Not very sweet at all and the fruits were very fresh. Honestly it was a lot too. I like how creative the menu is and you can also get food and snack. The lady that work there also is very sweet. It doesn't look super promising since its not super busy with a lot of people to give you confident in the place but I think it's good with some creative drinks. This place hit the spot. I was craving a subtle dessert and something warm for a cold night. I came in and ordered on the touch screen. They were out of oolong tea, so I got the regular milk tea with boba. Although it was within 15 min of closing, my drink tasted great and boba was chewy. Leading up to 2020, the Kearny Street corridor was thriving. The streets were crowded with tourists and people who worked in the many office towers that surrounded this street. And then it wasn't. It is located on the same block as the Garden Restaurant and Joy Hing Restaurant and about a half block from the Hilton Hotel. There was a family of three (mother and two children) at a table near the entrance. I bought a drink for my coworker and brought them back to my office. About twenty minutes later, I started on my drink. It was on the watery side texture wise as the travel time and warm weather melted most of the ice away. The other interesting revelation was that a ball formed and floated towards the upper portion of the cup. It was the pulp that stuck to the remaining ice. I liked that there were no chemical tastes from syrups or sweeteners. It was accurate in being 25% sweetness so I may up it to 50% next time. Given the location, they are wise to have food options on the menu though I didn't try anything. Ordering from the tablet, there was little customer service to speak of though I asked whether pineapple slushy was listed. I scrolled again and found it on the top right of the final page. Ok, this place has 4.5 stars, which is kind of mind boggling. I am super generous with my reviews, and give lots of 5 star reviews, but there were multiple issues with this place. First, the one person working the store didn't speak English at all, and also didn't speak Mandarin Chinese. As far as I could tell, she also didn't speak Cantonese. It was hard to communicate basic things. She was super slow making the food and it took forever to get the food. Once we got the food, it was bland. Miss T is located right on the edge of SF Chinatown. Parking is mainly street parking or garage parking across the street. I ordered online, so my drink was ready within 5 or so minutes. From my short interaction with the employee working, she seemed pretty nice. I ordered a jasmine milk tea with boba. I felt like it was pretty creamy, but it had this gritty tea aftertaste that I did not prefer - very light, so it was not too bad. When we were choosing our order, they explained what the teas are like if the are lightly sweetened. I happened to listen into a conversation when a customer ordered green tea with fewer than suggested sweetness. The staff warned them of the possibility of a bitter aftertaste. My friends and I swung by this spot after wandering around Chinatown. It's a small place with just 2-3 tables, not super fancy or decorated. The lady at the front counter was really nice. She primarily spoke in Chinese but was patient in helping me understand how to order with my more limited Chinese or sometimes speaking to my boyfriend in English. We were a bit lost with the menu, especially since there were no photos for most items. We ended up ordering the "romantic party," but essentially just customized our own bowl. We got grass jelly, chrysanthemum jelly, purple rice jelly/boba balls, strawberry popping boba, a scoop of (I think black sugar) syrup, and some fruit. The strawberry popping boba was probably a mistake, but it was decent dessert. It's not something I'd usually go for, as I prefer getting these jellies as toppings with shaved ice or something else, but it was pretty good for what it was. The purple rice balls were interesting--they tasted like purple rice and had a nice snap, not too chewy. We also enjoyed the flavor of the jellies.
