We stopped at this little food court area as we were walking Let's Glow to grab some drinks and a bite to eat. This location calls itself Boba and Brew but they have very few options for tea. I ordered a "classic milk tea" with light ice and it was about $6. There was only one other customer and it took longer to get the tea than it did to get my food from another truck in the area. This was hands down one of the worst milk teas I've ever had. It tasted like someone had brewed a weak cup of tea and left it out until it was room temperature and then added some powdered creamer to it. I'm not sure how new this business is but they need to work on their customer service and quality of product.

Came here for coffee at 11am (after spring forward). They use Equator coffee and they do a pour over. The coffee tastes very good -- the person was very generous with cream so if you like it light, be specific with them. It took a good few minutes to get coffee as they were just getting going and they grind the coffee after I ordered. Overall, cute spot.

Quick Summary: - Located where the temporary bus terminal used to be I recall years ago, when I took the bus from the Bay Area to San Francisco, it drove into this large depot called the temporary bus terminal. Currently, all buses moved to the Salesforce park, so just the same I haven't gone here since its move. How I discovered this place was this app. My colleagues and I wanted boba but wanted to try something new than the ones near our office. We took a long and fun walk along the walk -- longer than our usual places -- and into this space. It still kept the physical remnants of the bus terminal, such as the cross walk and the crossing button that has no use anymore. It reminds me of Spark SF because the space was replaced as a sport activity like venue with some food trucks parked on another corner of space. Our destination today was to the boba place, so we walked past the miniature soccer fields and tennis or pickleball courts. We arrived here past 3pm, so it felt like the busy boba hours have passed. The staff there also assumed the same; there was only one person handling the order and making the drinks. The speed would be average, but unfortunately, my colleague team was large, so the orders took some time to complete. (I was relieved that there were no one after us, as expected, we did come at a slow boba hour) I ordered a Thai tea because that day. It was a refreshing drink with a creaminess of milk. Generally, I like how this space was repurposed, so I would need to visit here again.

The fruit teas were actually very refreshing, particularly the Lychee fruit tea and the seasonal Red Guava fruit tea. They're all artificially flavored with syrups fyi. And their Classic Milk Tea is real but it's pretty bland and tastes more like milk then a milk tea.

Thai iced tea with coconut jelly

Location was super easy to access, we were walking and came across it. Menu is limited, but the item we did order was amazing. They ran out of boba and were in the process of making more, so we settled for coconut jelly with our Thai iced tea and it happened to be an awesome accidental combination. Prices were a little steep for the only small-ish size they offer, but it's SF, so I guess that's to be expected. There are also plenty of lunch style benches for seating, and they were all clean. The service was fast and friendly, and the drink was probably some of the best Thai tea we've had in a long while, we will likely return.

Mango Smoothie

Good service and nice ambiance Mango smoothie tasted very yummy, and the price was reasonable!

Service is great!! I even got a sample of the boba... and their coffee is awesome. And the kind gesture of the cashier and chat we had was sweet.

Beautiful boba and coffee bar right next to pickle ball courts. A block away from Salesforce Park and transit terminal. My Strawberry boba was perfect and my buddy loved the Ube taro boba.

I have heard from several friends that the place was good…read more I personally enjoyed the strong tea flavors, but I also like fruit-infused teas, so I chose Osmanthus Oolong tea with passion, konjac, light sugar, and less ice. I am so in love with the tea here, it tastes exactly the way I like it. I love how they use the teapresso machine to brew the tea leaves which makes the flavor stronger. The cafe's decor looks clean and it has a good vibes, and when I went, it was not too busy. You can also order through their application and earn points or at the Kiosks and put your phone number to earn points as well.

Chicha San Chen is the super hyped bubble tea shop from Taiwan that's apparently won a bunch of tea…read morerelated accolades that I won't pretend to be remotely familiar with. Their ordering system is entirely via two kiosks, which can be annoying if the customers ahead are slow, ordering a bunch of drinks, or both. They really should have a policy for cashiers handling smaller orders (2-3 drinks or less) and forcing kiosks only for larger groups. The estimated wait times vary pretty wildly, so take their posted estimates with a grain of salt. It stated 15-20 minutes when I was there, but it took about 25 (and we were just the 2nd group in line, though there were clearly tons of queued orders already with people standing around or sitting waiting). When we finally got our drinks, the Classic Ding Dong Oolong Milk Tea and the Milk Tea with Taro Balls and Taro Paste, I was expecting really prominent tea flavor like you get from the best milk teas in Taiwan and HK, especially given their hand-brewing process for each cup (which partly explains why wait times balloon). Sadly, I got very little tea flavor from either drink. That said, the fresh taro paste and taro balls were very tasty, with the balls having fantastic QQ chewiness. Prices are a bit much though, at almost $10 for that drink alone. I honestly think they could cut costs on gimmicks like the rope carriers (cute for influencers, but pretty useless and likely jacks up the price for regular customers). One silver lining from the long wait is that we spilled over into a free tea tasting slot. Miranda was fantastic as our guide as she was super friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. She walked us through how their Lishan Oolong Tea (sold separately, not used for in-store drinks) is harvested and sun-baked into 5 different varietals, each with unique colors, aromas, and tastes (and following the sun both literally and figuratively in terms of names and descriptors). Overall, it's a fun experience if you enjoy that sort of thing (and your wait happens aligns with a tasting slot or you can always a reserve ahead of time as well), so 5 stars for Miranda and the tasting, but the actual milk teas were lacking and a disappointment given the hype, cost and wait.

I fell in love with their creative, artisanal drinks right away. The store itself was clean and welcoming. My favorites are the Crème Brûlée Milk Tea and Matcha Toffee. They're both signature drinks and the matcha and toffee balance each other so well. The toffee does get stuck in your teeth, but it adds a nice crunch to your drink. I recommend getting their drinks in either oat or macadamia milk! Their honey boba was fresh with the perfect texture. I don't recommend driving here unless you're okay with parking a few blocks away. I prefer this location over San Jose because their drinks are more consistent. Nowadays, you can order through the self-serve kiosk. Their seasonal drinks are definitely worth trying! There was a Pandan Strawberry Corn milk drink that was pretty refreshing :)

The line was long, waited about 10 minutes for the ordering system, because it's by machine now. Then waited another 15 minutes for the drinks. There were a bunch of teeny boppers in front of me ordering drinks (6-8ish), so it took a bit. I ordered a house milk tea with 25% sugar. Honestly it just tasted like ash. No creamy tasting like other boba places. Not sure what their house cream was but it wasn't creamy or rich in flavor. Big disappointment. My husband got the crème brulee milk tea and that tasted even worst. It just tasted like bitter burnt pudding. Some sweetness once you get pass the pudding. Not sure who made the drinks but it was not good. The boba however was nice and soft. Not sure if it's the day or the rush of hella orders, but I normally judge a boba place by their basic milk tea and that day it was not good. And maybe that's not what to order? Not sure. But willing to try again on another time.

There is no seating located in this particular cafe but plenty of outdoor seating directly outside. Service: They have both a kiosk and a barista taking orders. Staff were friendly and working efficiently and quickly to fill the orders as they were being placed. Wait time: Generally depends on when you go since Japantown mall is a heavily toured area by locals and visitors to the Bay Area but I'd say roughly 10-15 minutes max from standing in line to receiving your drink. Food: The matcha ice cream has a deep matcha flavor with a nice concentration of powder which can be tasted in the soft serve. Luckily, their other tea offerings are just as good, so I never feel left out. The black sesame latte is a longtime favorite, but today I went with the hojicha frappe and it was excellent. It's not as creamy as, say, a Frappuccino, and the ice crystals are a little larger, but honestly that works in its favor because the roasted hojicha flavor comes through so much more clearly. Deep, toasty, and not overly sweet. Their sundaes are also ridiculously fun, loaded with all kinds of bouncy, chewy little goodies that make your dessert an activity rather than just a course.
