Prepared foods, some general items can be higher priced. Sales are good. I like the meat counter, chicken is good. Sausages are good. They have a pretty large wine selection too. Also their health section with vitamins is good too. Staff is always nice. They have a DJ on the weekends and food specials through the week. They make a good sandwich to go. Other prepared foods are good. It's not huge store but a nice size to easily navigate. In a cute area in Lakewood. In the summer you can grab a homemade sandwich, chips and drink and head to Edgewater park. I miss the bar where you could drink and shop. Oh well. It's a good grocery experience.

While typical grocery shopping here is amazing too, this review is focused on the "extras" they offer. I'm not sure when it happened, but I was thrilled to see that they once again have a full salad bar. Their salad bar is always fresh and I love that they have some of the options from the prepared food counter on the bar for the same price. I added in a little bit of the orzo salad and kale salad and asked the lady at the counter for a small amount of the corn salad because the one of the salad bar did look a little dry. Luckily she obliged and gave me a spoonful to add into my container. Lucky's also has an awesome sushi and ramen bar with discounts on Tuesday. They serve Edison's pizza by the slice and full pies, and they offer full rotisserie chickens for 5.99 on Wednesdays. I love getting pre marinated meat and fish from their meat counter. There's usually a lot of different chicken flavor options, which really cuts down on prep time. In the cheese cooler, they also have great ready to cook meals. From Mac and cheese to chicken wings and meatloaf, it's really paradise for those that don't like to cook too much. Their beer and wine departments go without stating. Their awesome. I love combing through the single beer cooler to sample something new. They also have discount wine bins that are really fun. It's always nice to discover a new wine you like for less than $20. On the weekends you may be pleasantly surprised to find a DJ spinning tracks while you grocery shop. I LOVE THIS! You can buy wine or beer by the glass and make grocery shopping a full event on a Friday night. There's so much I could say about Lucky's but I'll keep it short hahaha. Overall, fantastic place. Healthy food and a paradise for people who enjoy prepared foods. P.s. they have one of the largest assortments of Health Aide kombucha in the area.

This time the sizes were more organized in women's and teens categories. I was able to more expeditiously browse the inventory. I found some amazing deals like a really good winter coat for $15.99! Can't wait to wear it! THE BAD: The front of the store always has solicitors (inside the store). For instance, usually utilities suppliers offer you services. They are very polite but it's incredibly annoying. I don't understand how the two businesses are compatible and how it possibly adds to the shopping experience.

Now I have to give massive kudos to this awesome Lakewood gas station which is not only shiny and new but has free air for anybody. That's one of the coolest things I've ever heard. Nobody gives free air - these guys do. It was a godsend on this particular night, as I had a slow leak. I was impressed and happy about it. So this was where I ended up changing my tire and it took about three hours (1am-4am) and other than an Ashton Kutcher look alike who popped in to put free air in his tire there was never a point where anybody bothered me or hit me up for anything - so it's definitely in a safe area. I think I saw more cops out here than regular cars. The tire changing was a nightmare, but the gas station was awesome. It's well-lit even when it's closed. I guess that's my only complaint is that they close late at night - but other than that it's the perfect gas station.

Over the years, my Mom and I have bought several rings and other pieces from the jewelry department. I often gravitate towards bigger gemstone pieces and this Kohl's always has a nice selection of quality stones and chains, "big" pieces (life it too short to wear dainty jewelry) and several options to customize certain pieces. From opals to pearls to amethysts and diamonds, they always have interesting rings, bracelets and necklaces in stock. Combined with Kohl's cash or other promotions, I've bought some very beautiful pieces of the years. You might never think to adventure to Kohl's for fine jewelry, but they honestly have a very interesting selection! I love remembering this and saving myself the headache of browsing dull jewelry collections at other stores.

I've been here a few times when I visited the Library next door. The store has always looked clean when I've visited. THINGS FOR SALE -- You can find some groceries here, household items, and other miscellaneous items. I've seen tops or sweatshirts here before too. I've come here looking for a trash can before and I found some. Trash bags too. Bathroom items? - check. PRICE -- Most food items (snacks) are between $1-$3 depending on tax and the item. Snacks are still all really cheap though. Everything does not actually cost a $1 as the name of the store suggests. SERVICE -- Awesome. I have no complaints. If you want to save time and money then head on over to this Dollar General. Of course, the 3-star rating holds true mostly because the quality is okay for some of the items and the snacks are most artificial flavoured snacks. I was actually happy to find plain chips with just potatoes and salt as the ingredients. Most of the time, some of the snacks here will have ingredients that are chemically based. Also, this store does not have a big enough inventory to keep you coming so you may have to head to another store for household items. P.S. You have to enter through the back door since the front door is locked. *** - 46 total reviews in 2019 - 255 total Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 22 March 2019

Personally, I just needed gloves for cleaning but was absolutely distracted by velvet pumpkins (no one would know they're from the Dollar Tree). STORE: The store is located in a plaza with plenty of parking. It's very close to the Whole Foods in case you're in the shopping mood. The interior is pretty outdated and dirty considering the nicer suburb location. Only a few boxes obstruct the aisles. The inventory is pretty impressive and well organized. Most things are $1.50 with a few aisles of $5 stuff. SERVICE: The service is mixed like the holidays. One of the checkout associates was incredibly nice and polite. Another trailed me through the entire store which was peculiar. I'm unlikely to return to the store. I wasn't pleased with being followed by an associate throughout the store. If you want a quick shopping experience and find value important, this might be a good location to shop.
