Yes, I'm reviewing a city CVS. First, it's not the best place to come to for meds. Even if you call ahead a lot of times they don't fill your prescription until you come, there's no place to sit, and the pharmacist assistant makes you feel like a burden for picking up medicine. Eek. But otherwise, as a convenience store CVS, this place is great. Larry the manager is always extremely talkative and friendly, and all of the other staff in the front are great. They make a point of saying hi to everyone who walks in. The CVS doesn't have a cooler case like a lot do, which is a downside. However for being in a city it always seems clean and well stocked. They renovated it a few months ago and got rid of some of the cases and stands in the front, a needed improvement so people have a place to stand in line -- also looks cleaner. Always efficient and helpful. Not 24 hours so check hours before you go! read more

The head pharmacist here will not take any consideration for people who need medication. He is worried about getting a paycheck and not about whom needs to be prescribed. People who deal with people getting life changing medications shouldn't look like they don't care about you. He doesn't care and won't even look at you. Anytime you see him he looks extremely upset to be there. He shouldn't be working as a physician if he does not want to help people. He cares about lunch and getting off of work. AVOID THIS PHARMACY EVEN IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA. Go to Lakewood, they will take better care of you there. This pharmacy should not exist. Replace it with a Walgreens or just get better pharmacists all around. They will close the pharmacy 5 minutes before closing time. They just simply don't care. Decided to go check out their snack options, since it's not too far away. Downtown CVS. Lots of chocolate candy and bare bones other snacks to me. The snacks are the middle and last row. I was looking for the chip section and it only seems to be on the small side sections and part of the last row for chocolate snacks or crackers. This is the worst CVS I've ever been to! I only go here because options are limited, and I live across the street. The shelves are often empty of essential items such as pop, paper products, soaps, etc. Customer service is nonexistent, and they frequently close 10-15 minutes before the posted closing times. read more

First, no one to wait on you...read as we couldn't ask any questions to a clerk for product location. Finally, found what I was looking for. Arrived back at the hotel and discovered the medicine I had purchased had been opened and about half was gone. Location was not close to us and we couldn't walk back before store closed. We had an early deadline the next morning and was unable to return to make our purchase good. I doubt we could have accomplished it anyway. read more

Picking up a few necessary, but simple, prescriptions and realized i wasn't going to be near my regular pharmacy any time soon. I stopped in here to see if they could possibly obtain and complete my refills. I was greeted immediately by the pharmacist, who said he'd be right with me. You know I'm a fan of a prompt greeting! Once he came over, i posed my questions. He was thorough, patient and kind in his delivery. I was expecting it to be more complicated, so i appreciated his demeanor and responses. While walking through the store to get a few snacks, my CVS app notified me that my prescription was ready. I went to the pick up area and the cashier, Zenobia, told me that it wasn't ready. I told her I'd received an alert and asked if she could check again. She completely ignored my question. I repeated myself and she said that she could have the prescription expedited. Ok... sure. She still didn't address my request to check again and by this time I'd also received a text telling me that my prescription was ready for pick up. I asked if she knew what prompted the alerts. Again, she ignored me and instead repeated that my order wasn't ready and i need to step aside and wait for the pharmacist to call my name. It's really a shame that the pharmacy cashier wasn't helpful or kind. Every other employee i encountered was helpful and pleasant. Without the pharmacy cashier, this was easily a 5 star visit! I'll come back and patronize the front of house for sure! read more

This is "our" pharmacy as it is located the closest to the CSU campus and downtown hotels. The pharmacy has always done very well with getting prescriptions quickly and every pharmacist and technician have been overly nice and helpful. The only reason for the 4 stars is they close during the week at 6pm and every single time my child has been sick or I have had to visit the downtown urgent care, we never are able to make the 6pm close time. They really need to be open later like other CVS locations throughout the country. Same with the weekend hours, they simply are not open late enough for persons who cannot see a doctor until after work hours or later in the day due to school and cannot get their prescriptions until the next day unless they travel miles outside of town to a suburb location that is open much later. That is difficult for most students to do when they do not have vehicles. read more

This is my neighborhood CVS. I'm a fan because it's convenient, clean, and accessible. As with most stores that have rewards programs, there are usually good sales and deals if you're strategic. I have also found the employees to be pleasant and helpful. Unfortunately, the parking lot can be a bit of a nightmare as it fills quickly. Also, the line in the pharmacy moves painfully slow. A bit of urgency would be much appreciated by me. Nevertheless, it's a good stop to pick up essentials, meds, or other quick necessities. read more

Typical CVS pharmacy. They have almost everything you would need. Price is right and everything is pretty much where it should be. The only reason I'm rating the pharmacy is that another reviewer said they were closed. I was there today, august 11, 2023 and I want everyone to know that they are indeed open. Perhaps a few months ago they were closed, who knows? In any case they are definitely now open. read more

I have to pick up my script every 30 days, and did not want to cause a scene or argue with the pharmacist but there's 31 days in January so if I picked it up on the 19th of January (which is the reason she said I could not pick it up) then I am supposed to be able to pick it up on February 18 (30 days later). read more

Friendly service but took kind of long just to take passport photos. Fairly empty when I went.

So love hate relationship, there are some people who frequent this place that may be a bit shadier but the employees are super nice albiet the lines are a bit slower. A CVS pharmacy is the same everywhere. This one is semi-hidden by the construction work going on. I've been here twice but only credited with one check in. Update: I used the pharmacy service and it is good. I get text notifications on my phone when my prescription is ready and I don't have to wait too long when I ask to have it while in store. ........... I did not need the pharmacy in here but I'm rating the grocery part of the store. The store is generally clean and organized the staff is nice but somewhat slow sometimes. Though there is that one who is really friendly and helpful; she is one of the nicest people I've met in Cleveland. read more

I've been here probably a couple dozen times. The store is generally very busy, but no more than a few registers are ever open - sometimes only one. The pharmacy is just like the general store - slow. Generally the staff is friendly though. I just checked out with a very friendly cashier Gregory. He wasn't helping anyone when I walked in so he even asked if he could help me. I said I just wanted a CVS gift card and he looked for some at the register and didn't see any. He paged for the manager to ask him. Manager Mike comes up, hears Greg's question and goes off to look. Mike returns, opens a register to help clear the line that has formed and ignores both Greg and me. Greg asks about the gift cards and Mike says they are back there in the store. I ask Mike where and Mike repeats what he said, snappily adding that they have pictures on them. How lazy and unhelpful can someone be to not bring the very thing they went to look for up front with them and when Mike knew a customer was waiting for it. Gregory couldn't have been more apologetic and polite about it, but I'm going to try the CVS on 9th on the other side of Superior next time. Clearly if the likes of Mike are managing this place it is no wonder the store never improves. read more

My favorite CVS, ever! I come here all the time, they have good sales from time to time, and always great coupons that are useful. Overall clean, shelves are stocked, and if not by the next day I come, they're healthily stocked again! Employees here are generally polite, my favorite is Larry! He is SO, SO kind and really makes my trip to CVS that much better. Highly recommend this location :) read more

Zero stars. Google showed that the pharmacy is open till 7:00 PM. I walked in at 6:20 to get my Rx and the pharmacy was closed. Associate told me it closes at 6:00, not 7:00. Then he told me I could drive 70+ blocks to another pharmacy and they would fill it. Unbelievable! read more

I just really like CVS and this one is the best because Dr. Larry is the best cashier in the biz and you can get everything you want here. We come here for lunch, for snacks, for makeup, for cards, for vitamins, soap, you name it, you can find it at CVS. And the CVS extra-care card?! NEVER LEAVE HOME WITHOUT IT! You can get so many free snacks with your extra bucks. Dr. Larry will make sure you get your coupons and your rewards. He looks out for you. read more

Although this store could use a major facelift the staff was 10 stars! I am used to the South Florida stores where the employees don't always make it a bit to go of their way to assist. At this store each employee that I encountered was so friendly and so helpful. read more

I've been a regular patron of this CVS for years and don't have any complaints minus the fact that, at times, it can take a week for them to get new items in and restock the shelves. The other CVS on 9th is too far out of my way for me to check if they have products there so it's really my own laziness working against me here. The customer service is great considering that it's CVS and the pharmacists have always been helpful and prompt. Other than that, they have everything I need in a pinch. Spices, cotton balls, office supplies...anything really. I recently found out that starting 9/3/2014, CVS will no longer carry cigarettes either. I think this is GREAT and it it makes me want to continue to patronize and support them. read more

Everyone knows I am a die-hard Walgreen's fan, but I gotta tell you, when it comes to Pharmacy, CVS has it all over Walgreen's. When CVS tells you a time when your prescription will be ready, it will be ready. The ladies that work here are so friendly, too. I am impressed. And this place is literally .6 miles from my house! They open at 7:30am--great for commuters and if you need to get something real quick in the morning. I guess it's the next best thing to being 24 hours... read more

The female pharmacist is incompetent. She is scattered and overwhelmed by her job. PLEASE check your drugs before you leave the store. She is quite capable of messing up your prescription. I'd almost feel sorry for her, bc she has soon kind of problem. But her rudeness and poor customer service prevents me from doing so. BE CAREFUL going here. read more

Omg this pharmacy is disaster. After long hour spending in emergency room, I drag my self to get my meds. Guess what !! pharmacy Teq told me because our system is down , come back 1 hour and half later. I waited in my car for 1/1/2 hour then she told me we lost your prescription! They made me call emergency room to get my prescriptions. ... unbeleiveble how they treat their patients, specially emergencies ... not worth to even shop there. read more

The shelves are empty, the whole place is filthy, and you can't find anything. Prices ring up different (and higher) than what's posted on the shelves (even with your CVS card). Don't waste your time. read more
