Over the years I've stopped in here to pick up toiletries or quick grocery items. The store is always neatly organized, clean and well-stocked. They always have little sales and you can typically find little stocking type stuffers at low prices, if you're in the mood to just blow through some cash (we've all been there). The store associates can be a little apathetic if you need help, but I find that they also tend to be younger kids, so I can't fault them too hard there. The parking lot, for whatever reason, can get kind of busy, so drive carefully in it, especially in the winter. Otherwise, this drugstore will have everything you need and help you stay well.

Twice at lunch time, and once in the evening, all within the window that the website says they are open. Also, the indoor pharmacy counter has switched to touch-screen kiosks to get a prescription, instead of a human, which take forever, and constantly lag and have to be re-entered. It feels like this location is actively trying to lose customers.

It has everything from socks to bird food to produce. Wow! Everything! Prices are OK for most things. They do have discounts on items which makes them a good buy but it varies on items per week. Surprisingly not a bad shopping g experience you could get carried away looking through all the stuff and spend more time than you thought.

With food prices low enough to make the slow lines and aisles in disarray worth it, you keep us coming back. Your closeout section is where you really shine. With items no one knew they needed (because they don't) and odd unsalable outcasts from other stores, you are sure to find a 99 cent treasure or two. Who cares if the the undershirts they sell are marked irregular- with Marc's low prices on fiber, you can be sure that even if your shirts aren't regular, that you are. Stop in and stay a while!

But the amount of expired food being sold and the length of the expirations have had a huge increase recently. Hummus - over a month expired. Yogurt - a few weeks. Bread was one of the things we didn't pay much attention to, until a recent purchase of hamburger buns molded after two days and we realized they were expired by several weeks. So, WATCH THOSE DATES, and shame on Marc's for putting that stuff on the shelves.

I don't know how to describe this place, except to say that this is what general shopping was like in the 1970s-1990s. They literally sell just about anything, from a limited selection of produce to engine oil to toys to clothing to lawn care items. You can even rent DVDs here. And of course they have a pharmacy. Prices are usually slightly higher than other places, but they commonly have specials and sales. They are always open- if you need batteries on Christmas morning, Drug Mart is your place. (Although if I ever go on a holiday I always give the cashier a $20 bill because I feel guilty they are working.)

Of course help wanted signs are here, too.
