This is a CVS for a one time errand for something that you desperately need, but not your friendly neighborhood store. I was not happy with my time at this CVS. Neither were other customers walking out in loud dissatisfaction. Strange experience. INVENTORY: The inventory listed online accurately reflects the store stock. I easily found Ayr saline nasal wash with aloe that was sold out at other stores. The store had plenty of seasonal inventory. An aisle full of Valentine's gifts and sweets. Like Hello Kitty merch and adorable stuffed animals. If you want to get an early start on Easter shopping in January, get stocked up at this CVS. They have Peeps and various holiday candy. I was pleasantly surprised with bookish selection as this store. Even paperbacks for trending authors were in stock - Colleen Hoover and Mary Kubica. If you're still in vision board mood, you can get magazines at this location! There are plenty of baking and cooking magazines in case you're looking for new recipes! SERVICE: Service at this location is non existent. There are no employees staffing the checkout. When I finally found an employee in the aisle and asked for assistance with a coupon, it was met apathy and rudeness. I felt like I was imposing. All I wanted was to buy a nasal spray and apply a coupon if applicable, but it proved to be difficult. PARKING: The parking lot is mostly very dim even by the entrance. It did not create a feeling of safe environment for me as a woman. Overall, this store has ample inventory and likely everything you are seeing in stock online. This CVS has filled prescriptions and given me vaccinations. The retail part is generally well-stocked. However there is no public restroom. I was about to get an RSV shot. I had just bought $58 worth of toiletries. I asked where the restroom was and found out it's not for customers. I checked with the store manager and it's true, no public restroom. I will no longer use this pharmacy. read more

I really have no complaints about my local CVS here in Lakewood. The employees here are always super friendly. I've come in to buy packs of water, snacks, and other random household items. With my constant CVS coupons, the price is always right; although, their groceries can be expensive. I suggest that you obviously go elsewhere for groceries such as Aldi's. There is a minute clinic here so any Pharmacy needs that you have, you can get them done here. This is probably one of the cleanest CVS's that I've seen. So fresh and so clean. I judge a place based on how they handle things when it all goes wrong. I had printed out photo poster and the image was damaged because it was rolled and boxed incorrectly. When I pointed this out, Eric - the employee who helped me - made sure to reprint, rebox, and give me a credit. I could tell his coworkers were not onboard with how he made the customer (me) happy. But I shop there all the time and am one of those people that doesn't mind taking my business elsewhere out of principal. Eric is a model employee and am lucky he helped me that day! Essam "helped" me at the pharmacy. I called him earlier in the day to fill a prescription. I told him i needed the prescription today because I am moving tomorrow. I went to pick up the medication and after asking how I can fill my next refill he said i can't do my next refill anywhere else because it's already been transferred today by him. I said he should've told me on the phone because I'm moving 4 hours away and will be unable to fill it at that location. He said that's my problem and he doesn't feel bad because it's not his fault. He continued rambling about him not having to tell me anything and it being my problem. I asked him to stop and ring up my items so i could leave. He gave me my items I purchased and didn't thank me for the purchase or ask if i had questions on the controlled medication i filled with him. I've never been treated to poorly, aggressively and completely uninformed. Fill your medication anywhere else - tons of other places nearby. read more

This location has the rudest people working there. The girl named Emily at the pharmacy was rude and crude. We went to get our prescription for the new year and did not know we needed to have a CVS pharmacy card for prescriptions. We had to call our Blue Cross Blue Shield to get the number we needed to pay for my perscription. The pharmacist ( some lady) yelled across to us that it's a new year and we should know this. Instead of helping us she ignored us. Rude people back at the pharmacy. Then as we weee leaving, we went to pay for something at the main register and the clerk was digging in his nose with a tissue. He said ya know people have allergies and have to do what they have to do. Let's just say I will never go back to this location again. I had all of my prescriptions transferred! This is my second complaint on the store!! read more

The pharmacy staff was extremely helpful in getting me set up with my Xarelto discount plan that saved me hundreds of dollars.

I went to this pharmacy yesterday . The pharmacist was very rude and disrespectful. I Dropped off some Prescriptions. When I came back to pick them up the pharmacist told me that my insurance was no longer active. I had just used my card at the emergency room prior to bring in the Prescriptions to them so I know it is active. I explain to him that I had just used my card and that it was active . I asked if he contacted the carrier and he said no that is my job to do so. So I pulled over in the parking lot and went inside to the pharmacy. I called my insurance and verified in fact my insurance is correct. The info on the card matches my numbers listed on my card and is Active. I asked for the pharmacist again . He then throws up his hands and ask what do I need. I Explain to him that I have the Insurance agent right on the phone who is verifying that the information on the car matches and is in fact active and that they would like to speak to him he tell me to WAIT. After 5 mins he comes over takes my phone and insurance card and speaks to the agent who relays the same message that the info is correct. He puts in the info and boom it works. He hangs up comes to me and Says billing info was wrong when I know for a fact wasn't true because I just was standing there listening to him and the insurance agent on the phone repeating exactly what she had just told me and repeating the numbers back to him that matched what was on my card . He never apologized. He then Instead of handing me my car back he throws the my insurance card across the counter making it for almost fly off the edge of the desk . Then takes my medicine again sliding it across the desk . I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGAIN. I DO NOT HAVE TO ACCEPT SUCH DISRESPECT AND SUCH POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I hope whomever his boss is sees This and take appropriate action against him. read more

A historic church was demolished to build this box, so I would hope that the box would at least give a decent CVS shopping experience, but nooooo. It does have a big parking lot that usually seems to be pretty empty, and I'd give the drive-through pharmacy 4 stars because it's efficient and convenient, but the rest of the store is a definite 2. Smaller than most of the CVS stores I've visited elsewhere and usually with a poor selection - maybe even some empty shelves - for the things people visit a drugstore to get, such as anti-perspirant, moisturizers, dental care products, etc. They do manage to find room for like four or five aisles of seasonal junk at the front of the store, which doesn't appeal to me much given that Lakewood already has about three dollar stores elsewhere and a much larger Drug Mart with similar junk across the street. Two separate times I went in CVS hoping to find something I needed and they had none of it. Today I went looking for some denture cleaning tabs for an elderly relative, and they had NONE on the shelves. Like, the shelves in Oral Care were half empty. I had to stand around and wait until someone went to the back room to see if they have any because they were "redoing that section" and the person ended up pushing out a whole shopping cart of jumbled, disorganized denture products. I picked one out and asked the price and she hadn't a clue in heck. Eyeroll time...but they sure had the shelves full of Halloween decorations in bang-up order. I then asked if they had one of those plastic lidded containers that older people use to clean dentures and was told "We haven't carried those in years." Drug Mart ahoy...they have all the stuff you need over there, right across the street. The only reason I was even in CVS was I had a couple of store coupons to use up. On top of that the security in this CVS seems non-existent which is a concern considering the number of bike thieves, shoplifters and general low-lifes who do questionable stuff at local drug stores, as shown by the local police blotter (although this location is much better than the Clifton one in that respect). Drug Mart has a security presence so I definitely feel better shopping there after dark. read more

I went into CVS specifically to use Kodak kiosk, I was having a bit of trouble downloading photos onto a picture disc, I asked this delightful lady who was, I believe to be the manager, her name was Mary. She was my hero. What took me 45mins to figure out,(I was too proud to ask for help from the start) Mary did it in 15. She was very kind, patient, and professional. Mary had her hands full helping me and still made sure people were helped at the counter. Great customer service which will keep bringing me back to this particular store. ~fin~ read more

I just love this CVS! 1. They don't answer the phone while they are taking care of the customer in front of them. 2. They take the customers in order of arrival. 3. The lead pharmacist even wiped off the 3 customer chair arm rests with Lysol. 4. If they don't have it...you don't need it! read more

Now why won't they open one of these in Hawaii instead of a stupid Walgreens? I love CVS it was right down the street where I used to live. The pharmacy was great and I always found the right otc drugs for my horrible allergies there. And yes my sweet tooth fix... even in the snow I could get my fix of sweet candy! read more

I have long been a fan of how knowledgeable and helpful the pharmacy staff at this location has been. Even with recent staff turnover each new group has been just as helpful as the previous. I trust them to answer all my questions and even provide more detail than my doctor. My experience this week stood out so much I had to write a review. Anna is exceptional, she let me know of a coupon I could apply for online and walked me though the process from my smart phone in the store that brought the price of my prescription down from unmanageable to free. She did it all with patience and a smile as if it were just part of her job, but it was really above and beyond. Not everyone would take the time to do that in their busy work day, and for some patients that can mean the difference between having a life saving medication on hand and walking away fearful and frustrated. She is a gem and cvs is lucky to have her on their team, and cvs is a great place for hiring staff that will do this and promoting a culture that is more than just transactional. read more
