This donut shop is very tucked away and unassuming you just might miss it. I sent my husband in here on a whim. He got me a lemon glazed donut with pistachios. (John Lemon Pistachio) It was the freshest most amazing little donut. The fresh decadent lemon glaze and the crunchy pistachio really was a delight.
Good food is worth the wait! We had to wait for a little bit for our donuts to be prepared. They add on the icing fresh! It was fresh and soft. You can taste the quality and work putting in for the donuts. We'll be back to try other ones.
Hey, they're pretty good! I learned of Dip and Sip by happenstance whilst driving through Glenview. They have a kind of retro vibe going on here and the owners are definitely Beatles fans. The epitome of mom and pop, I think they hand dip donuts to order. The man who took my order was really friendly and his good mood was infectious. They have a selection of "classics", of which my favorite is the maple frosted, as well as some specialty donuts. The specialty ones don't interest me nearly as much as the classic ones, which they do beautifully. I also picked up a breakfast sandwich, which was really good, one of the best I've had in a long time. The biscuit was delish and it really hit the spot. They have some seating here but happily they also take orders online for pickup... supposedly. I've tried to order on a couple different days, once in the morning and once in the afternoon, and they were not accepting online orders either time. Plenty of parking because they're in a shopping center. Will be back for a their maple glazed!
This is now my favorite donut place in the area by a good margin. They're all fresh, made to order / in-house, and there's a wide selection you can choose from. I am not a fan of crazy amount of toppings, so I decided to keep my order simple and ordered the Classic, Apple Cider, and Pumpkin Spice donuts. You can order the Pumpkin Spice with cinnamon sugar or with a homemade glaze; I tried both and I highly recommend getting the one with the glaze. The glazed Pumpkin Spice donut and the Apple Cider donut were my favorites and were just delicious. I also bought dog treats - 3 small shaped "donuts" made from flour, peanut butter, eggs and another ingredient I forgot (but my dog loved these!) Overall it is a very impressive place - it looks very cute and vintage. I am excited to come back, and this time I will order coffee!
I wanted to like it more. Cute interior with an extensive list of donut options and coffee drinks. There's also a few breakfast sandwich choices. After you place your order, your donuts are boxed together in the back. The donuts were heavily over fried and a bit greasy. We tried the vanilla with sprinkles, s'mores, Boston Creme, and maple bacon, and while the toppings were nice, the fry factor overtook everything. I was looking forward to my iced coffee too, but it did a number on my stomach both the afternoon I had some and the morning after. Not sure if it was the brew or the caffeine, but it was rough on my system and a bit bitter in taste. Glad to have tried it. Welcome to the neighborhood!
This is a brand new small business and a former Boba space and I was very excited to try it as I love donuts. Came here on a random Saturday afternoon and luckily there was no wait and no line and everything on the menu that was on the chalkboard was available as they stated they make it fresh by the order. So there was a little bit of a wait time, which is OK You can order ahead of time for pick up which I found out because I saw other customers coming in for that purpose. The place is super cute and decorated so definitely taking photos and posting on your social media. I'm sure this was done on purpose. It is located parking in a strip mall and their neighbors in the strip mall are empty and vacated so parking is ample. After my order was called out loud the employee walked away as we were seated, and we came up to the counter to pick it up and as I was inspecting the box because it was so beautiful and it's presentation a different employee older gentleman came up and thanked us for our business. Surprising that neither the cashier nor the employee who brought the donuts to the counter ever said Thank you.
We used to enjoy their Roscoe Village location when we lived in the city, and were so sad when we moved away from them in the suburbs. Imagine our delight when they moved out here! Still the same delicious flavor, and the menu has expanded since we were in the city. We also enjoy their different mocha flavors One of our favorite treats in the area!!
Great donuts and coffee. Family-owned and great quality of the offering. Easy parking and nice location
The donuts were tasty, though no where near as "fancy" or large as the website makes them appear to be. The shop itself was super cute and decorated for Valentine's Day, but service was lacking a little bit. No bright "good mornings" upon walking in, or even assistance explaining flavors. There was only one small bench (no table) to sit at if you did want to stay and eat, so definitely a place to grab and go. We would not be running back anytime soon, but it's a cute shop if you happen to be walking by! Side note for parents: Entrance to the shop is raised two steps, so not easily accessible for a stroller.
The ambience, the fresh made to order donuts. I did not taste like rancid vegetable oil that you taste in some donut shops that sticks to roof of your mouth with a bitter greasy taste, not here!! this will be my go to donut place and it's 9 miles away from me but so worth the drive. Highly recommend you check this place out, so cozy with a vintage vibe felt like I was at someone's home

Dip and Sip is a bit hidden, tucked in a corner. I made it in right before they closed. Their menu had a variety of donuts to choose from. Being the first time there, I wasn't sure how it worked. Could I order only what's in the display or were there some in the back? The man working there was super nice and helpful. He advised me that I can choose from the menu and he will make it in the back. I went with the Mexican hot chocolate donut. The first bite was into a crisp exterior and a soft, fluffy interior. The combo of glaze and cream was slightly sweeter than I'd like, but perfectly complimented my black cold brew coffee. I definitely want to come back and try the strawberry fields signature donut. read more
This is my favorite local donut spot right now! I love all of the fun flavors and they are beautifully decorated. My favorites are the Boston creme and the apple cider. They also have a "donut bar" where you can pick your own flavor and toppings. There are a few tables in there and it's decorated really cute. It is pricey but it's worth it! read more

I stopped in here a few hours before closing. The place was pretty quiet and drab but it did have a small flow of customers. I can see why after eating the donuts, they were on point. I had the Elvis which was amazing, that banana cream was just perfect. The flavor on my other special donut was great as well, it wasn't specified but I think it was a Blueberry glaze with gold sprinkles and color! You can customize your own donuts here, I'll be back soon to do just that and grab another Elvis of course. read more

Will be back, the food, drinks, vibe is 10/10. I haven't had a donut experience like this ever and my family and I had such a great time. They do gluten free bulk orders too, which I think is awesome for those that may find that helpful! read more

Wow! Who knew this little gem was under my donut nose! I did learn my lesson moving forward. It's on a corner so you can find it if you're looking for it but you can pass b it for sure if you're not looking. Some of the highlights are All You Need is Bacon, Mexican Hot Chocolate and Grandmas Annie's Boston Crème!! All of these were fresh and good to go! These were a hit when I brought them on top of bringing some Concha's. If you expect to pay a dollar or two for a donut, don't come here. It was $27 for a dozen. Also bonus points for serving Metropolis Coffee!! We will be back for sure!! read more

I recently ordered from Dip and Sip Donuts for a large custom order for a Pride event at my workplace. They were fantastic to work with, quick to reply, quoted very competitively, and the donuts came out vibrant and delicious!! I would recommend Dip and Sip to anyone in the Glenview area, they're wonderful! read more

Great selection of regular and gluten free basic donuts sure to please everyone! You have to order gf donuts ahead of time (1 hour) and order at least 3 donuts. We called the day before to have them waiting for us in the morning. Donuts we tried were delish (Boston cream, strawberry fields, cinnamon sugar)! They also serve coffee and other drinks. There is some seating inside. A great addition to the neighborhood! read more

My favorite donuts in Chicago! So happy I stumbled upon this place (although they've been highly ranked in a number of articles). You can't go wrong with any of their donuts here. Eat them while they are fresh and warm. read more

Stopped in for my first visit and liked the retro vibe. The featured donuts are in a case, you order and pay, and they bring out your order from the back a few minutes later. There's a nice selection of classics and specialty flavors-- less variety than shops such as Firecakes or Stan's. I may have missed them as there was a line and I didn't want to slow things with too many questions-- I wished there were more filled types such Boston crème, apple, etc. I ordered one of each classic flavor for a 1/2 dozen. They come out to just over $2 a donut and the box and newspaper liner is a nice touch. The donuts looked and tasted great too-- my favorite was the cinnamon sugar. There was a hint of oily residue after each bite which my coffee took the edge off of. Size wise, the donuts are on the smaller size vs other donut shops. Overall these are better than most grocery store donuts and are a nice addition to the area. Time to try the specialty flavors next time! read more

I'm not an expert in donuts, but I do love going around and supporting small businesses. What better way than via donut eating?! We ordered a half dozen between the two of us (Cheat Day?!) for $15. If you want to buy them individually, a single donut is about $2.75-$3, depending on the donut. The donuts are made to order so once you order, you can step outside and they would call your name when your order is ready. The staff were friendly and the whole process was painless! From Top Left: Mexican Hot Chocolate, Strawberry Fields, John Lemon Pistachio Donut From Bottom Left: Elvis' Last Donut, Groovy Pebbles, Grandma Annies Boston Cream My favorites are the Mexican hot chocolate and the Strawberry Fields! read more

Stopped here for the first time today. Cute shop doing doughnuts. Presentation was very nice and doughnuts looked great. The make the fresh and you need to wait. The cake doughnut is ok but VERY oily. The oily flavor overtook the flavor of the doughnut. They should make these ahead of time and let them sit so the oil can drain. Was expensive $18 for a half dozen. read more
I would definitely come back here again. The donuts are on the smaller and sweeter side but that's good if you don't want to eat too much, want to sample more, and have a sweet tooth. Good flavor in the donuts and they have a wonderful squishy texture. Not dry. I like the prices for half-whole dozen and the employees were very nice. I'd rank this as a favorite donut shop in the city! read more

Yummy! I love donuts and travel for donuts and finding donut shops is a hobby (check my reviews). Loved these. Cake donuts with a flair! My favorite part is that the donuts are made-to-order so they are super fresh when you receive them. You can customize your donuts with choice of frosting and toppings or order from their menu. I loved the cannoli donut, which was a special for the day. I highly recommend this place. read more

These donuts are made with love. I'm a simple girl, and love my simple donuts and these are the best. I discovered them in 2020 while still going into the office, I wanted to order something new for my team. D&S popped up and we've been hooked ever since that first bite. I need one closer to home; Broadway has a lot of empty retail space with your name on it. read more
