Service was slow Food was okay Ambiance is a 10 But for the price and taste of food it wasn't worth it. All dishes tasted strange and a mix of weird flavors. Like traditional mexican dishes didnt taste traditional. $100.00 per person without alcohol drinks crazy read more

Place is beautiful and really well designed. Has an upscale feel but if you're coming here for authentic Mexican food then this isn't the place for you. Not a great fan of the food flavor but the drinks were really good. And I must say everyone is very kind and attentive. read more

The food was really good and delicious, Rogelio our sever was on top of everything and made it a great visit. Rogelio was awesome! Def would be coming back! Thanks read more

The food and drinks were good but overpriced. The service from the bar was excellent. My friends plate came out 20 minutes after mine so my food was cold by the time I could eat it. Our server never came out to ask if everything was okay. I had to intercept a server to ask for a box. He said, "Your server will pack it up for you but I'm not your server" and left. Waited 15 minutes until we saw our server and flagged him down. In summary the place is beautiful, the food was overpriced and the service was terrible. Also, don't wear heels because the floors are slippery. read more

Over priced Mexican food. One and done for me ! Looking forward the ojos locos next door though

My husband went to their happy hour on a Thursday night. We were the only couple there around 5pm. Our serve was really nice and he explained the menu and drinks really well. My husband and I opted to share the steak nachos and we got a couple of drinks each. We both really enjoyed the house margaritas. It's not too sweet and it doesn't have a fake lime flavor. The steak nachos were my favorite! The portion is huge and could've been split between 3-4 people. Definitely will go back to try their other dishes. read more

My server David was amazing! Although I came to have my favorite Ahi Tuna with the usual Lavender Honey Lemonade, he recommended the Fenty X drink and it was divine. Can't wait to come back and try more options from the menu. read more

I sat at the bar with a friend and had a wonderful experience. Ambiance is amazing. Even though they didn't have my favorite tequila yet, Tequila Mandala, the drinks were exceptional. Spicy margaritas for me and my buddy, with an extra shot of mezcal. For food, the must haves are the Sea Bass Tiradito, the Aguachile de Camarron, the smoked guacamole and the queso fundido. Honestly, I give them a 9.5 out of 10 on food and drink alone. They'll work out the kinks on the service side. read more

Extremely aesthetic from the entrance to the bathroom. Definitely instagram worthy! Been here more than a handful of times and have never had a bad experience. Service is always phenomenal! David was friendly and attentive, like all the staff at DIOSA read more

The ambiance and service were 10/10. The food however was average and way overpriced. $37 for 4 enchiladas is too much. Would not come back here unless it's for a special occasion. read more

Great ambiance and service from Taylor! Will definitely be backk, drink was good and food was very well seasoned

After hearing mixed reviews, I finally got the opportunity to try this restaurant so I can form my own opinion. I went for lunch, it wasn't busy, but the service was very slow. Nevertheless, I was very excited to try the food, however, I was let down because I was ready to try great food but the food was just ok. The decor is nice but in my opinion, that's about it. read more

The restaurant looks really nice, romantic ambience. Cocktails were great. Music was also good. Service was great. My server was GREAT

The restaurant is very nice. Love the decor inside and the ambiance. The location is "eh..." for how nice looking it and the prices being charged, the location does not support the pricing the restaurant calls for. The service was good and the food was delicious. Again, not sure if commands the $$$ that is being expected. Also, beware...the restaurant charges a 3% surcharge! For what??? 3% on top of an already expensive bill. I can understand if you do that for a large party but for a party of 2??? Seriously??? read more

The place was really nice and very enjoyable to eat. Had a great time with my significant other and the people in there were really nice and helpful. There was a huge delay on the food as we had to wait more than 40 minutes to get our food but they offered us a free alcoholic drink and a small entree which was really nice. The food was Okay, nothing special or something to brag about. It is definitely a place to go out and enjoy the look and the feeling. Definitely coming back to give it another try. read more

Great vibes the food was amazing their drinks were really good they have a wide variety of drinks and shot girl walks around offering shots

This place is amazing! I was soo happy when it finally opened. The ambiance and decor is fantastic. Must needed in Downey. I came for valentines. As expected it was packed but made reservations 8 days prior. I ordered the Steak Arrechera and must say, it was delicious !! The service was good, but as expected it was very busy. My food came first and it took a while for my BF food to get to our table. The manager (I believe) came personally to apologized to us, we weren't even complaining. We were busy talking, enjoying the live DJ and ambiance. It was very classy of them to acknowledge his plate took longer to arrive and said it was complimentary. We weren't expecting that so that was very nice. He had the Pollo al pastor and said it was delicious. I notice the servers service different tables in different areas and at times I couldn't find him but no big deal. It was a busy day. The single booth tables are very close to each other. Overall I was very happy with my experience here that I returned 2 days later for the bar area. Arrie, the bartender was great! He took good care of us. He did a special drink for my friend which she loved. I ordered the Ahi Tuna Tower and asked them not to make it spicy for me and I was happy they had that option. I must say that was so delicious, definitely ordering again. My friend ordered the Steak Nachos and they were delicious as well! She wanted more meat, and was blown away with the taste of the meat. All the food is fresh with a fantastic presentation and most importantly, matches the taste. I love the combination of flavors. They have master chefs working back there because OMG the food taste really good. I don't understand the mix reviews, about the food not being good and a limited menu. Maybe people are just addicted to junk food and don't know what good quality food is. This is not buffalo wings, acapulcos, ola, bjs, chillis, lazy dog, bar louie people! Where you have a book of a menu with tasteless food. I do wish they had a chicken breast plate, though. I did notice some guys wearing hats/caps in the bar area, I think this should not be allowed. Diosa should uphold up to their dress code since it has that classy upscale look and feel, this is not a sports bar. This is why this place is unique. I love the idea that there are no TV's in the bar/lounge area. It forces people to interact and not be distracted with a TV. I will be coming back! They did an amazing job of inside that old hometown buffett. read more

Oooh wow! What a gem of a place! At first glance (totally judging a book by its cover), I didn't think much of it from the parking lot. But upon walking in, my opinion changed immediately. The decor is gorgeous... down to the details of their color scheme, chandeliers, mirrored tiles, glassware, table lamp, etc. Their Goddess Hour menu has fantastic selections. We got the steak nachos and guacamole... super tasty! And our drinks were very pretty AND delicious! Also, their service was incredible! Our server Dave was being trained by Victor, and both were very attentive to us. The manager Priscilla checked on our table a couple times, and her menu recommendations were very much appreciated. Although we did not order from the tequila cart (this time), the server Liliana was lovely and pleasant to talk to. My friend and I really enjoyed this place. So much so, that I will be back next week already with another friend. Thank you for your service! read more

We went last night. It hasn't been open barely a week. However, everything seem to run smooth. They have lot of help. The food was amazing! The bone marrow tacos were very good. I'll order that again next time. It was a bit loud. They had a DJ but the music was the same all night, like the same beat. It got to be a little annoying. The inside was beautiful. You can tell they put a lot of money in this place. The drinks were great as well. I will say there was four of us. We all got our food at different timeS. They claim it's the new way. I get it. But we were all done for a long while before the 4th person got her meal. We ended up asking them to pack her up to go. The manager then came up and apologized. He even took her meal off the bill. I thought that was good business practice. I'm glad to see Downey has new nice restaurants. I'll be back to eat again. read more

I came in to check out this new restaurant in Downey. We ordered a cocktail from a very extensive menu. Got the Coco Chanel which was recommended by our server it was delicious the perfect balance of sweetness. I ordered the lobster ceviche which was tasty but a little too spicy. They need to tone down the spice my mouth was on fire. I also ordered the sea bass tiradito which was very flavorful. Would recommend both, but they both have heat. Beautiful restaurant the decor is modern and very chic., Would come again to try out another cocktail and dish. read more

I came here with my family to celebrate Mother's day and the place is beautiful! However the food was super expensive and they forgot my meal. The server seemed to be busy or they might have been under staffed at that time (not sure). She was nice but didn't notice my meal was missing and we had to call her over. She did mention that the food would have come out staggered but when everyone else was done eating we had to flag her down. I had high hopes but I won't be coming back. read more

Nice looking place inside. It was very crowded, but the service was good. The food was good but not great!

This review is based on my birthday celebration from a week ago. I was happy to be greeted by a friendly hostess in a uniquely decorated entrance. In fact, every member of the staff that came in to contact with myself and my party was extremely pleasant and helpful. The overall vibe of the restaurant was very cool. The seating is nice yet comfortable. The chandeliers are stunning and add the perfect amount of sophistication and playfulness (for those of us who appreciate the bling) to the space. The DJ was a pro. He flowed with the mood and did not dominate the room. Music amped up a little later on, but just the right amount. Overall, the perfect setting for a celebration. We ordered a variety of drinks and none disappointed. From the smoked bourbon to the Phoenix, mariposa and margaritas, the presentation and service was (chef's kiss) superb. Side note, Coco Chanel is a must. We ordered empanadas, ahi tuna tower (not much of a tower, but delicious nonetheless), the corn chowder, and I think it was the trout for appetizers and all were delicious. We ordered a few entrees, including the pollo Al pastor, the mar y Tierra, salmon and risotto, carnitas, a steak dish, and another fish plate I think, and everything tasted as beautifully as it looked. The side dishes were very good, the fish and steak were perfectly cooked and the beans are authentic, which is a big deal to me. We ordered crème brûlée and ice cream for dessert and I was gifted birthday ice cream and a petite rosè, which was quite lovely. Overall, it was a wonderful experience I will not soon forget. Thank you to your staff, chefs and mixologists for great service and outstanding dining experience. read more

Amazing service food amazing went today Prisela amazing person so nice and funny i recommend‼

My husband & I decided to try the Happy Hour on a Friday. As far as the decor and ambiance goes it's really nice. However, when it came down to the menu was disappointed not to see many options. We tried the tacos which were good, however not worth $12 each for carne asada or shrimp and $10 for carnitas. We also had the steak nachos which we didn't enjoy w/ Mole it just doesn't go together. Drinks on happy hour were very limited choices I had a margarita which was nothing special just a typical lime margarita, and I had the signature diosa house XA it's a tequila special shot they make which for $15 not worth it my husband wanted draft beer which they hVe on the menu but turns out they stopped serving it a while ago (not sue why if it hasnt been open long & they should take it off the menu) . Overall I was not impressed and they only had 1 bartender serving the whole bar so service took long. Needless to say I think I'll pass on a second visit. read more

Came here for a large graduation party, this place is beautiful, and the ambiance is very nice. The appetizers were good, my fav was the roasted Guac and the ahi tower (spicy). I got the poblano enchiladas Great taste - Tip- get it without all the onion salad on top. They have really good meat, we got different kinds and were all delicious. Unfortunately, we were being served at different times so some of the food was cold. I understand it's a new place and the service needs to be worked on. So with that said, I will return with a smaller party and try it again. read more

Diosa was a fun experience, everything was very aesthetic and the drinks were amazing. The food was pretty good and the service was very friendly. However towards the end of our meal we had a cockroach crawling over our booth seat and the table next to us saw it as well. Ruined the whole experience for me. I might still go back to a drink in the future but for $20 a drink ... idk maybe not. When you're paying that much there shouldn't be a roach in sight. read more
