    Dion's special!

Dion's is a staple in New Mexico, this place is locally owned and operated and in my opinion is a must try if you are traveling through Albuquerque. I have never had a bad experience with them and the food is always fresh and always delicious. Anything you order will be good, but the pizza is killer!

I didn't realize how much I loved Dion's moved to Atlanta 10 years ago. I miss having a go to place for quality pizza, subs and salads. Dions does everything right. I want everything when I go! Their salad dressing are famous and in so happy they are sold by the bottle so I can take back to GA with me. I compare all other ranch dressings to theirs. "Is it as good as Dion's?". Some of my favorites is their pizza with pepperoni and green chile, turkey sub and turkey salad. It is a must on my list when I'm back home. Open one in ATL please!!

This location used to have great food but has gone downhill within the last few months. Today we ordered a large pepperoni pizza and a turkey sub. Our pizza had a layer of oil on the top and my sub sandwich was far from what I expected. It was completely missing lettuce and just looked so unappealing. I gave 3 stars, instead of 2 because of the staff, which has always been pleasant and friendly in my experience- something that is not very common these days so I can appreciate that.

Been eating at Dion since it was a one-man shop on Montgomery. In the 1970s. Always excellent quality control. So imagine my surprise when today I had to pick brown lettuce out of my full turkey salad. Come on folks, don't let it slip.

Okay? Can anyone else see this mountain of cheese and chicken right in the middle of an old slice of pizza...... Lol.

Dions is always good, but I'm giving a 3 Star because the Greek salad changed. Im totally not a fan of this salad anymore. :(

I was immediately impressed by the staff. you couldn't ask for better care and warmth. we participated in any activities that were offered and made new and lasting friendships along the way. thru those years there were difficult times. I guess the most difficult was the pandemic when we were limited to movement within the building but you would be amazed attn lengths the staff went to to keep us happy. delicious meals were delivered to our door ( we ordered from our menu's ). Games were played at each door if you wanted to participate and there were fun prizes. The weekly wine socials were brought to your door. Meanwhile, all the necessary health precautions were taken. The apartments were thoroughly cleaned weekly. When necessary, immunization clinics were brought to each resident and if you wanted to participate, they made it easy. Eventually that passed and life got back to normal but it's hard not to recognize the professional handling of that difficult time. The building was renovated and mad lovely for us. If anything needed to be updated, it was life moved along smoothly and I must admit, to my surprise. There were many staff changes but amazingly, the staff remained warm and caring. Deep down, I can forget that they are dealing with many different personalities and sometimes elderly people can be a tad grumpy. The loving staff simply overlooks the bad days. Food is always an issue but the menu is large with choices for everyone. If that isn't enough, there's a really great Bistro you don't want to mis. The activities are numerous and year round. Entertainment is provided on a regular basis and outings take place twice a week. All you have to do is signup. I can't close this without mentioning that my husband passed away in 2022. it was a difficult time made easier by the Fairwinds staff and especially the management. Being100% deaf and disabled, my family wanted me to move to assisted living despite my reluctance. Doralei warmly helped me make that decision to move and very graciously helped me find a comfortable apartment. The move was smooth and the golden treatment given by the health and Wellness staff has been perfect so I have to admit that it was the proper move. When I need appointments, the transportation service is wonderful and I can't forget to mention the wonderful drivers. Do you see how fortunate I furl that all those years ago, we made the decision to move here it was the perfect one. You can't go wrong.

Extremely disappointing experience at Sixty Six Acres…read more We walked in and were seated immediately on the patio. I had read so many positive reviews and was genuinely excited to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, we walked out without ever being served. While we sat there, multiple staff members walked past our table without acknowledging us. No greeting. No water. No "someone will be right with you." Nothing. Then another couple arrived after us and was seated in the same small patio area. They were promptly greeted, given water, and attended to by a waiter who seemed more than happy to serve them. Meanwhile, we were still sitting there trying to figure out whether anyone planned to acknowledge our table. What made the experience even more uncomfortable was looking around and realizing there were no other Black or Brown patrons in the establishment at the time. I cannot definitively say race played a role in how we were treated, but given the stark difference in service between our table and the couple seated after us, I would be dishonest if I said the thought didn't cross my mind. We eventually got up and left. Good food reviews mean very little if certain guests can sit at a table while staff repeatedly walk past them as though they aren't there. Whether this was discrimination, poor training, or simply terrible service, the experience was unacceptable and left us feeling completely unwelcome. We came prepared to spend our money and enjoy dinner. Instead, Sixty Six Acres made it very easy for us to take our business elsewhere.

We had an escabeche and ceviche and they were fresh and delicious. Everything was fine until we heard shouting and then the telltale sounds of chairs scraping on the floor. Suddenly the table in the corner turned into a full scale family brawl. Something about a boyfriend disrespecting a female cousin. Shouting and chair shoving. My brother in-law were kind of keeping an eye on this and then the manager and staff stepped in got them all outside. When we got outside 5 cops had different factions of this group separated to get their stories. The only weird part was that the managers didn't apologize or offer a free beverage or item. I trust this isn't a regular occurence and next time I'm down there I'll definitely try again.

Waitress immediately came over and took our drink orders and was super friendly. We started with the Chorizo Rellenos which were absolutely amazing. I don't think I've had a better appetizer than this before honestly. The downfall was the entrees unfortunately. I'll start with hubby's dish which was the Shrimp Scampi. He took one bite and looked so discouraged so he asked me to taste it. All I could taste on that first bite was an overwhelming amount of Garlic. We love garlic but this was either burnt or saturated... It was bloody awful and inedible. My green chile chicken was no better but after insisting to hubby to ask for another dish I just kept eating mine while he waited for a hamburger. My dish had no flavor at all. I added salt after salt after salt and nothing could revive this dish. After all that salt my feet literally swelled up on the drive home but that's another issue. My poor hubby waited and waited while I ate and his burger never came. After 20 minutes he got mad and decided to pay - while paying his burger finally came out but he was too upset to eat so we just paid and left.
