Great pizza and fantastic service! We love coming here for a pizza on movie night! We've tried everything and it doesn't disappoint.

May 15, 2026. Friday. Dinner. Shot by here after a Defined Fitness workout. It's located on Southern, in strip mall, by Bulldog firearms. I called in my "to go" order from the gym. I noticed quite a few five star reviews for this joint on Yelp. This place is supposed to make the genuine NYC pizza with thin crust. I ordered 2 cannolis ($11) and an 18" Deluxe pizza ($25.25) with pepperoni, ground beef, mushrooms, sausage, onions, and black olives. When I arrived, David Wheelock, at the cash register, told me they had just removed my pizza. He handed me the box and said he had to go in the back to make the cannolis. I'm not sure if they really make them there or not, but they had lot of cream filling and weren't too sweet. The pizza had a lovely, crispy crust and a ton of toppings. I wish this place was closer. By the time I got home with the pie it wasn't hot anymore. Just warm. A very good representation of NY style pizza. read more

Wanted to try a new pizza spot in my area so we opted for Davido's. We ordered an 18 inch pepperoni pizza and some wings. I forgot to take a picture of the pizza and wings until we had already consumed half the pizza and all the wings. The pizza was absolutely delicious. The flavor was nice and one of the better pizzas I've had in a while. The crust is very delicious and has such a nice texture and mouth feel. I wish the pizza was saucier but that's just for my personal liking. The pizza was perfect. Now onto the wings. Even though the flavor was delicious they were incredibly small. Just a tad bigger than a nugget and that's just way too small. Service at pickup was neither friendly or rude - just transactional. Overall the pizza was good enough to order it again. read more

Best pizza! I wanted to give a BIG THANK YOU to Davidos for such amazing service and food! We ordered pepperoni pizza, Mexican pizza, pepperoni pinwheels, salads, calzone and stromboli. The mexican pizza is like no other. It's base is refried beans with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, green chile garnished with lettuce and tomato. It was so good! First time trying the pepperoni pinwheels and let me say it won't be our last! The salads were so fresh. I didn't get a chance to try the calzone, but it looked fantastic, but I did try the stromboli and it didn't disappoint one bit! If you haven't tried Davidos, what are you waiting for! read more

Davido's is my favorite local pizza place. It's just a mom and pop shop and is pickup/delivery only - there's no dining in. Other local pizza places like Aldo's often shorten the baking time, making the pizza soggy in the middle and veggies are undercooked. Davido's has been the most consistent with their prep and baking. The crust is my favorite. It reminds me of NY. My favorite pizza is the deluxe, but I'm allergic to spicy, so I can't have the spicy Italian sausage - it does have a kick to it! With the other chains around and their garbage ingredients, it's nice to know we have a better quality local alternative. read more

Best pizza in Rio Rancho and I drive from Albuquerque.. I can't stand all the chain store pizza's. I have been getting my pizza for the past 15 years once a week.Their sauce is tangy the dough delicious .They even have a gluten free which tastes great!I looked for 10 years,constantly asking for a good pizza place. Not what I expected. I was surprised to see that it was to go only. I don't remember seeing it mentioned anywhere. Not to worry we can make it work. So we ordered the "Meaty" with a side of Cheesy Bread and waited in the car. About 15 mins later our pizza was delivered to the car. The cheesy bread looked like folded over crust stuffed with mozzarella cheese accompanied by a side of marinara dipping sauce. The pizza was excellent - nicely browned crust - not overdone since it wasn't hard. Plenty of toppings. For all the meat toppings it wasn't greasy. Worth the stop and next time we'll know it's to go and plan accordingly. read more

Made an impromptu trip for the first time last week and was majorly impressed with the Greek pizza! It was amaaaaazing, and I don't even like olives on my pizza. lol! We also had the pepperoni and a cheese, and they were delicious. The sauce and crust are both super flavorful, and the crust is the perfect balance of soft and crisp. Our walk-in order was ready in 20-25 as promised. They def prefer cash and aren't shy about posting that in the store, but IMO the prices compensate for the 3% small businesses are charged (plus it's a tax write off), so they could maybe relax a little or offer a discount on cash as incentive. The pizza was so good, we'll go back again for sure though. Always looking for good alternatives to the big local chain, especially to support small biz. read more

Davido's is a great place to pick up a pizza for home. And that's an important point. The Yelp app asked me questions about Davido's which clearly indicated it considered Davido's to be a sit down and eat in the restaurant. This place is STRICTLY a pick up place. They do deliver. But there are NO TABLES to sit here abs eat. read more

Friends have been recommending this place for years but we have always lived too far away. Now we are in the neighborhood and this is now our new fav pizza place. Customer service is off the charts good. You order by phone and when you arrive, they bring it out to your car. Doesn't get much more simple. Selection and prices are great. And the pizza. Wow. You reach out to Davidos..."Please help!!" You order their Vegetable Stromboli (you get a Calzone, obviously this is not "Little Italy"..:), it's deliciously filled with scrumptious sautéed vegetables and cheeses. Our Caesar Salad (dressed for a Prom) was very good and benefitted from the shredded parmesan, we had on hand..:) and Two Cannolis (the best we've had in the High Dessert..:). But times have changed for sailors these days..When I'm in Port, I get what I need. Not just havanas or bananas or daiquiris, But that Italian creation on which I feed..and Davidos delivers. I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Unfortunately it didn't go too well. I called in my order. They said it would be ready in about 30 minutes. I'm about a 20 minute drive away. So I wait a few a drive there. When I get there I'm greeted by a man. I don't know who he is because he did not identify himself. He tells me that they were out of one of the ingredients so they didn't make my pizza. I asked him why they didn't call me and let me know. He had no answer. They were not even busy. He then tells me that they can make the pizza now and it will probably be another 20 minutes. I told him that they should have called. Also that they should have offered a discount or something to make it right. He just asked if I wanted the pizza or not. I said no thanks. With not even an apology for making me drive a total of about 40 minutes and waiting, I would take my business elsewhere. I may try it again but now I think I will be biased before I even try it. Big family vibes at a local small pizzeria. I happen to be staying in town on travel from San Diego, and my aunt who lives in New Mexico mentioned this place was delicious. There was excellent customer service at the front, they let us know they were running a little behind but you could tell they were full of passion. I highly recommend getting the Stromboli and the calzone, and the pizza was also really good! read more

This is carry out only. This is the best pizza IMO in the Albuquerque area. It is located in Rio Rancho. It is definitely worth the drive.

The storefront has no place for customers to wait, so we had to sit in the car to wait for our calzones. Hubby's calzone was, he said, very good and he ate it all. My ham and cheese and mushroom calzone left a LOT to be desired. The ham was several slices of some over-salty deli ham topped with slices of mozzarella. I never did find a single mushroom. My husband and I often get pizza from this place. We really like the size of the large pizza, the slices are cut really big which we like and we like the pepperoni. The other day we tried pepperoni and green peppers and it was very yummy so happy we have this great place in Rio Rancho. It is usually better than dions read more

Excellent pizza. Typically we have ordered pizza elsewhere but last few months since we found Davido's we have not strayed, except when they were closed last weekend. We've had a couple different pizzas but the bacon cheeseburger with added green chile has been our go to. We have not tried much else on the menu but plan to do so. read more

Great local pizza place, some small foibles. I ordered a 12" Deluxe pizza over the phone. The ordering and pickup process was very smooth, and the employees were very helpful and COVID-safe. I would have preferred online ordering but I know that's a personal preference so I won't count that against them. The pizza itself tasted great, especially the cheese had a rich creamy taste to it. You could really tell that they use quality ingredients! My only negative is that the bottom crust did seem to be a little undercooked, it wasn't as crispy as the top crust. read more

De-freaking-licious! We first came across this place a couple of years ago when our son was in taekwondo next door. I am so glad we discovered it and cannot believe that I haven't reviewed it before today. The pizza here is so good. The crust is just my kind with the perfect combo of chewy and crispy. They do not skimp on the toppings and the sauce:cheese ratio is spot on. The folks that work here are also very friendly. A fully filled cannoli today. There pizzas are always delicious, but today decided to give the cannoli a second chance, and be hold they were completely filled. Last time we had them,they seemed to be fully filled but as we eat into them noticed that mid way nothing in the middle. So we stopped ordering them. Great pizza with a small town vibe. Great Tuesday special as a large 1 topping for $11. Better quality pizza that Dion's for sure even though Dions is more popular with more locations. Usually one guy in there with his young daughter helping him out. Makes me happy to buy from a small local Business especially when it's such a high quality pie. Pizza always comes out fast and hot.
