Soooo delicious!! We had been so excited to try Rumor was we're not let down. The specialize in full pies and slices, we landed on getting 4 slices, two cheese two pepperoni. They only had shallot pepperoni which I absolutely loved. It had suuuch a good flavor to it. I would call ahead if I were going to order a full pie- they don't have any indoor seating or a waiting area expect outside, and they make their pies fresh so save yourself some time and call ahead. The establishment is great, the staff was great, location is great! However the pizza in my opinion was not so great. The tomato sauce tasted like canned ravioli sauce, or like the sauce you get on a frozen pizza. It wasn't gross or anything, just not the greatest in my experience, maybe some of you like that kiddy pizza sauce taste, but it's not for me. First of all the service was great. Everybody was nice and they actually showed some appreciation of their patrons, I was shocked, usually around here your lucky if you get acknowledged. The pizza is delicious. They have a small menu, but it seems what they do make they have mastered it. The pepperoni was the order. The crust was crisp but then chewy. Excellent flavor but the texture was better. Wash it downh with a cane cola and Friday night turns out to pretty nice. One of the best slices in out town for sure. I'll try to keep this story short and sweet, but to understand why these guys get the five stars you need to know the story. Let's just say my original order tonight with another pizza place in downtown. Albuquerque didn't go so well. I'm gonna leave their name out of it out of respect for rumor pizza. But I go to this place. I found on Apple Maps. Thought the pictures look cool so I head over there First impression was amazing on a hard corner cool looking pizzeria. A walk-in there's a bunch of chill dudes working there with cool mustaches. And it smells amazing. Tell the guys a story and begin to place my order. At which they tell me that they are about 35 to 45 minutes out to be able to make my order. Which kind of sucks because I've already been waiting and the other pizzeria that I previously ordered from screwed everything up. But it's cool. It smelled amazing. I was totally OK. ISH waiting. But then the guy at the register was like hey we just put a pie in the oven that was meant for slices will totally just sell you that one. And that's what they did. So rather than wait 45 minutes for a pizza I got my pizza in like two minutes. They totally did not have to do that and they did and let me tell you. Their pizza taste as good as it smells in that place. If you are in the area and you're looking for a solid pizzeria. This is the spot. Super thin crust hand tossed. You can tell that these guys make their dough in small badges. They cook in deck ovens, which is one of the best ovens to cook pizza in other than woodfired. So I know the crust was gonna be solid and at first bite. I was in love. I'm from Phoenix. I come in into Albuquerque once a month. And I will definitely be coming back. Parking is rough and we had to park a block away. Seating is limited and it's only outside in a few benches. Drinks options are limited and are bottle drinks. Now they do offer meat and meatless pizza options. On single crust option offered to us. Prices were decent. The pizza crust in our option was thinner than expected, sauce was descent to the flavor, and pizza was meh in general. They don't have restrooms so no way to wash your hands. Sadly, the second experience in a couple of weeks was nowhere near as successful. The soppresatta pizza at a cool $35 ($10 more than the vastly better $25 pepperoni) was inedibly salty (poor quality soppressatta), had minimal quantity of the burratta that was supposed to be on it, and what looked like one basil leaf spread out over a large pie. The crust remains the star but this was closed to inedible for the salt content and deeply disappointing for cheaping out on the ingredients. Very good pizza. 4 stars is just slightly low but 5 was too much for me. The sauce is baws babeeehhh.. And it's good!!! The crust is crrunchy! Very crispy, and I think they might use a sourdough, because it just had that extra kick of flavor! The pepporoni's were those delicous little button pep's, and they were bomb! Wish there was more Basil around the pie because it was good to....This is the closest to NY pizza I've had here. A nice change from our normal pizza spot, just not a fan of this area of town. There is nowhere to eat inside, and very limited outdoor seating. Parking's not the best in this area either. Interaction with the employees was very minimal, but everyone was very friendly and nice for the 2 minutes I was there. Pricey, but what isn't these days! I would love to be able to try their pizza so I can give an honest review of it, but I just can't get there. The problem? They have the screwiest business hours imaginable. They also don't have a phone apparently, because all you can do is order online for pickup. I guess you could walk over and order a pie in person, but on their website it states you'll probably get your order pushed way out if you do. So uh, yep. That it's. Back when computers were finally hitting the mainstream and everybody was trying to get in on the next big idea a term came into play called Vaporware. Essentially people were selling companies the next big thing ... ideas. Give us your money and we'll make you an amazing product! Something you can't live without! Got questions? Don't you worry about it, we know what we're doing! Hence the term vaporware, because the product didn't actually exist! Outstanding pizza in a cool location. It is in a small building in a residential neighborhood with single family homes. The restaurant doesn't have any seating inside. However they do have picnic tables outside. I had the cheese pizza and it was very good. I have been looking for pizza that is similar and just as good as pizza in Chicago and I think I found it. The rumor was that this place was the new best pizza in town. Sorry. I had to do it. We did a walkin and had a 15 min wait, which let us walk around the neighborhood & even make a run to Lowes Grocery store. They only have one size, and their pretty big with about 8 slices. There are great options for pizza and non-alcoholic beverages. It was enough for two, and we even had leftovers. I wish they served salads. I highly suggest Rumor Pizza. FYI, there is no indoor dining and minimal outdoors due to zoning restrictions. Be respectful it's near residential homes. read more

Yum! I initially was a little skeptical when I first saw pics of the pizza as I don't love the darker/charcoaled edges here and there. After a talk with a friend who is a huge fan, I learned about the cooking process and the super hot ovens. These beautiful darker bubbles and edges are just from superior cooking (and are not like when I do it and they are burnt.) Ok. Now about the pizza. It's so fresh and hot and can barely get it in my mouth quick enough. Just the right amount of cheese. I got the tomato pizza which is sauceless with big slices of fresh tomato instead. And a healthy sprinkle of Parmesan on top of the tomato slices mixing that salty pungent topping with thick fresh tomato slices. Perfection. And oh-so fast! You MUST order online. They do a limited number of pizzas per night to keep things fresh and efficient. I got my pizza in about 10 minutes and it was piping hot. I'm not 100 percent sure about dine-in, as I placed my order right before closing. And they were not remotely upset about the late order. Staff seemed cool as hell and friendly getting me my order. I could not be happier with this pie and love to have a new (friendlier) pizza joint in my neighborhood. read more
