Best pizza crust in the city crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. 10/10 recommend

I always prefer eating at locally owned restaurants, and since Amadeo's is right up the street, we enjoy getting their pizza. We ordered the Amadeo's Special - pepperoni, sausage, beef, onion, bell peppers, olives, and mushrooms. Nice fresh veggies and toppings on a chewy crust make for a tasty pizza. We also got a half order of bread twists, which are basically knots of baked pizza dough with some seasonings. They were okay but could be more flavorful; some garlic and Parmesan would improve them. read more

MMMMMM! Their pizza is bomb! The wings were delicous as well!!! Definitely a place I will be returning to!

I would give this place a 10 star rating if I could! I live in Alamogordo, NM, but I travel to Albuquerque few months and I always stop by the location on 98th street for the delicious Chicken Alfredo, Greek salad, and garlic bread. It is the best I have ever had and I have traveled all over the country. The staff is so friendly and helpful. I do recommend that you call your order in, because it is made from scratch and takes about 20 minutes to prepare. read more

The pizza is always great. I think over the years we had maybe one over cooked . We always call in and pick up and never had an issues with service. The inside could probably use some updating but it's a pizza shack as long as the zzah is good who cares . read more

AFTER I SAID I WOULD NOT COME MY HUSBAND CAME BACK!!! I ordered food tonight and they add an automatic tip not an option or custom tip they added what they want...sorry but I paid for steak and salmon and salad at Texas Roadhouse and tip it wasn't 31.00 dollars I bought two slices of pizza and salad!!! Highway robbery WILL NOT BE BACK HERE AGAIN!!!!!! read more

Loved Amadeos ever since I was a kid and my husband was craving pizza (as usual). We ordered a pepperoni and cheese pizza with garlic and I was wanting a nice chef salad. I'll start by saying the pizza was absolutely PHENOMENAL. The sauce, cheese, and garlic combo was *chefs kiss*, however it was lacking on the pepperoni. The major (and only) disappointment of the night was the salad. I basically got a ham and cheese sandwich complete with egg and a pickle. Overall, there was hardly ANY actual salad in my salad. I got a few nice, crisp bites of iceberg at the very bottom of the bowl and altogether it was quite refreshing, just keep in mind the lack of lettuce in your salad when ordering the chef. Aside from the little issues, I absolutely recommend this place! Fantastic little 90's/00's vibe including a sick mortal kombat arcade game and tons of Coca Cola decor. Favorite family pizza place in town! read more

Amadeo's Pizza - Lettuce-less chef salad - Pizza Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Customer service sucks. I placed an order at the wrong location and wanted to tell them but the lady I was speaking to was very rude and disrespectful, I know I'm the one who fucked up but was treated like shit. Will never come to this location because of this. The one on Osuna is awesome. read more

0 stars due to rude and inconsiderate behavior. The other day when I was in the 98th St location, one of the owners was extremely rude and insensitive to a homeless woman who only had enough money for one slice of pizza. God forbid you're ever in a place like this and need help yourself. I will NEVER support this business again and I will tell all my friends and family to do the same. read more

Great calzones, we were very happy with our food. They should have sent a knife and a fork to cut the calzone .I will definitely order pizza from this place again when we come to visit my father Thank you very much for great calzones,Can't wait to try your pizza. read more

This place is going downhill, my family use to enjoy ordering from here on a regular basis but this last experience will be our last. I ordered a pizza and a salad specifically for delivery, gave the employee my address and also paid over the phone with my debit card. The important part about this is I also left a tip on my debit card of 10 dollars for the delivery driver. She informed me it would be an hour when I put the order in around 7:15 pm. Well over an hour later the pizza had not shown up, I called around 8:45 pm to ask why and was rudely informed that they were closing and there was one order there but it was for pick up. I told her my name and also let her know that I had left a 10 dollar tip for the driver. She checked to see that it actually was my order, and they had listed it as pick up instead of delivery. I was already upset but keeping my cool and so I politely asked her if she could refund my order. Well low and behold I check my bank statement today and it was refunded but ten dollars short. They kept the tip of 10 dollars for doing nothing, but keeping my pizza, and never delivering it. Yep, you have indefinitely lost my business, the level of incompetence from your establishment is abismal to say the least. read more

What nice people at Amadeo's! Had the Stromboli (pepperoni, mushroom, black olive) & some garlic twists. The Stromboli was so mouth watering! Our order was delivered in half the time expected, and again, such kind and pleasant people working there! read more

Amadeo's is great! Our pizza is always hot and made as ordered. The only complaint I can come up with is that we wish there was a location a little further north on the west side! Crossing fingers! read more

Absolutely the BEST pizza I've ever had!!!! Always hot and fresh!!! If you ever need to have pizza delivered, give these guys a call!

We had one of the rudest exchanges with a manager this evening. We ordered a pizza sub, wings and a salad for delivery. The wings and salad were excellent. The pizza sub had handfuls of mushrooms and was missing the pepperoni. My husband called first and waited for 10 minutes to speak with the manager. She was rude to him and told him the sub came with mushrooms. She was only willing to remake it if we went and picked it up. She continued to insist he couldn't read and it comes with mushrooms. So I checked the menu and it doesn't come with mushrooms. It was also supposed to have pepperoni. He got frustrated and told her to forget it. She said she would give him a $5 credit on an $8 sandwich he wouldn't eat. He hung up. It made me mad, I order food from Amadeos on 98th 2-3 times a month because I work close. So I called back and got the same manager. She informed me she was remaking it and having it delivered. I told her I appreciate it but it doesn't excuse her poor attitude. I told her she owed my husband an apology and she refused. I will not patronize an establishment that treats long time customers with that kind of disrespect. read more

This was the greatest pizza I ever had in my life. 100% Everything was perfect from the cheese, the crust and the topping. The delivery driver was super kind and polite..100% to him. The person i placed the order with on the phone was also 100% I will 1000% order from here again. I'm in love. read more

Usually, this place has great service, and their pizza is great. But, today I called to make an order for my workplace to order 7 pizzas, and the person on the phone gasped! He told me he would ask his manager if they could do it; the guy came back with, "We need 24-hour notice for that." The tone was rude and it is only 7 20-inch pizzas. Their loss and I'll never think of using them for anything more than a small order. read more

These guys open at 11am M-F noon on Sun & have a drive thru which surprised me since it's a lil mom & pop joint ..rustic feel & homey ambiance with lots of retro memorabilia. The meatball sub is a $1 upgrade to the #5 lunch menu special but totally worth it! Also, please note: if you like your sub saucy I recommend getting the .80 side of extra marinara...this is some of the best gravy I've had in a long while!! read more

Me and my boyfriend thought this would be a good spot to order pizza and bread knots . We were so wrong my boyfriend called to place the order the guy that answered was very unprofessional , didn't ask for the for the name for the order. We get to the restaurant walk in the guy has no clue what the order is or anything ? We inform the guy we placed the order and what are order was . The guy tells us he canceled are order because he didn't think we would show up ? We inform the guy you told us 35 minute wait . We placed the order at 7:30 and we live around the corner ? So I'm concerned to why the guy didn't call to see if we were coming for the order? You would think after all that the the nightmare would be over but sadly wrong . Get home to sit down and eat and my daughter tells me look mom . The pizza was doughy and not cooked just the toppings . The topping and the pizza were like 2 ply tissue splitting in 2 different directions. Very weird and odd. I would not recommend this place at all . The manager is very unprofessional when I called to let him know about my experience. He didn't care but offered to re make the pizza but he would give only 15% off. read more

Amadeo's Pizza - a slice of pizza on a plate - Pizza Near Me - Albuquerque, New Mexico

Pizza and wings were the craving for tonight. Food arrived way before the time estimated, and it was delicious!

Delicious, had the new mexican pizza and the kids loved the slice and drink meals!! Great service and prices

Food was excellent! But service very poor, called in a order but called back less then 5 minutes to change an item and received the rudest response from their employee stating "not to call back again, then hung up on us".. other then that pizza was good. read more

Their pizza is huge, toppping options are great! And according to a friend of mine who is originally from new york, the best new york-style pizza in town! I certainly love to order from them, when I can get to this location, but I miss their Lomas location. I loved to order from the Lomas location, but was just barely out of their delivery area. My only other issue, was that they closed a *lot* earlier than chain places for delivery, which in the university area, was not likely to help them sell. Still, I *love* their pizza, and would eat there whenever I get the chance. Garlic as a toppping option is both delicious, and rare. read more

Fantastic Pizza, Great People. One of the most beautiful and tasty pizzas I've had in a while. Quality ingredients, and the crust was very good, very good! I got a 16" and it feeds quite a few! It's not a super-high heat oven, but not everyone loves ashes on the bottom of their crust like you'll find at some other pizza places. But, it's true to form like the best pizzerias you'll find anywhere in the Mid-Atlantic, It's definitely as good as it gets and absolutely hands-down beats the chain pizza stores! I usually get a sub there, which are always great. This is my second pizza from them, I got my first from the South Valley store. I like the store on 98th better - but it's the difference between fantastic and excellent. It's worth the price! Plus, they can make some super-big pies! I added fresh tomatoes, extra cheese, and garlic butter to a combo pizza... a thing of beauty! read more

One of the best italian joints in the albuquerque area. Fantastic sandwiches, great meatballs, outstanding pizzas and they deliver. also if you go and eat at the actual restaurant they have a "Tron" video game. mad respect..... read more

Very tasty pizza...HUGE slices...slices ready in about 5 minutes...what more could you want. Only complaint was an overpriced side salad I requested to go with my lunch 2-slice & drink special. I'd definitely eat here again, sans the side salad, if I'm back in the area. read more

First, I'll say their quality has certainly gone up hill in the past two years. That's probably because a Dion's Pizza and a Pizza 9 just opened up within their direct area and they realized they needed to finally - seriously compete. Still, their quality does not meet the standards of Dion's or Pizza 9 for that matter. Their food is okay - but not at all impressive or memorable. I think our biggest problem with this restaurant is the treatment by the staff in its entirety. This restaurant is family owned and operated and with that - it seems they feel that they can treat you any way they care to. Lastly, I wasn't aware that you're supposed to tip the window guy that hands you your food thru the, "to go - drive thru," window? I mean, I don't tip the McDonald's drive thru. Maybe I'm supposed to? Well, don't worry if you didn't know either. Those fellows at the drive thru will let you know straight away by way of a wicked sneer and a cold slam of their window every time if you don't. Just go to Dion's just down the street. They're always friendly and their pizzas and salads cannot be beat! read more

Ordered 3 subs and desert cames out to 30 something gave the driver a $9 tip noticed they forgot somethings and called to have them delivered we just so happened to get the owner on the phone, at least that is what she said. She was very rude and acted like we were inconveniencing her I will never order again from this place. read more

Italian food at its best! The food at Amadeo's can't be beat at any price! From fresh sandwiches to steaming pizza, I've never been disappointed with my food choices. Reasonable prices for HUGE portions (two people can share a side salad for sure) and quality rivaling the best sit down restaurants! Maybe I am biased, but the staff here are awesome people. read more

I don't understand this. This restaurant used to be so good I'm just bragging about how great it was I invited my neighbor over. And my order was completely messed up. I ordered a large pizza with all pepperoni with 1/2 mushroom and the other half sausage. And they mixed it all together I ordered a chef salad with cheddar cheese instead of telling me they didn't have cheddar cheese they put on American cheese how disgusting. I called to complain and and the manager acted annoyed and pissed off. I'll have to try one of the other amadeos again hopefully their quality is still good read more

Aaaamazingly good! The size of these pies are huge and the flavor is great! Friendly service as well.

I recommend dining in to eat the pizza. For some odd reason just never tastes as good when we get it to go. The Stromboli and Pizza Rolls are great. Even though the hot wings seem like oven ones that you would get at the grocery store, they are surprisingly good. Amadeos has to have the best ranch dressing in Albuquerque. Yes even better than Dion's. My only complaint would have to be the grumpy staff who I believe are the family. It's much better now that there are younger kids working there. And if you get a salad, and they ask "would you like croutons and seeds with that?" they are charging you extra. read more

I give 2 Starz for my 2 Favorite workers!! It Should REALLY be 5 Starz but The crazy thing is EVERYTHING AND EVERYBODY IS GREAT at Amadeos except for The EXTREMELY RUDE OWNER, She is not helpful her Tone is degrading and she is just plain NOT NICE! They have an option to use your last order I ADVISE TO NEVER USE THIS OPTION, no matter how many times its offered to you. They WILL OFFER IT but DO NOT USE IT....... Your Order will be wrong and they will make you feel like its your fault that it is...... It will take another 45min. Until you get the right pizza and now your hot wings are cold!! Ordered Extra Cherry topping on cheesecake didnt get that either..... Very Sad that a OWNER is indeed the WEAKEST LINK! Sorry Amadeos but you lost ALOT OF GOOD BUSINESS!!!!! read more

This was the first time trying this pizza. I've never tasted anything so delicious. The crust was thin and toasted perfectly. It was not greasy like other pizza places. You have got to get dessert. They also have the best tiramisu in the city. Highly recommend this pizza! read more
