11/20/35 A small storefront shop that is strictly take out. That's ok though cause we like to eat pizza and watch movies at home. Small local business on Osuna rd. I have a test for pizza quality: is it good cold the next day. Unfortunately I haven't been able to test this as there haven't been any leftovers! We had been looking for a new pizza place as our old favorite has been decreasing in quality and consistency. We tried a couple of other places but Goodfellas blows them out of the water. We ordered a pepperoni pizza. It was delicious! The sauce is perfect, not acidic and very flavorful. Good balance of sauce and cheese. The crust is thin but not soggy. Just an excellent pizza! They have other mains but the joy a good pizza brings cannot be underestimated. I did try the tiramiso and it was very good too. Too rich for me to eat all at once but just as good the next day. I do plan on trying their other food but for now I'm getting my pizza craving satisfied as we haven't had a good pizza for awhile. Good service, great pizza. Yea! #1 Favorite Pizza in ABQ is Pizza Castle. Goodfellas is #2. The pizzas here are a bit expensive and I hate that inflation has effected pizzerias in such a way. The guy who took my order and served me to go was not the friendliest... I LOVED this. Lol It reminded me of home to be honest. Straight to the point. I ordered a large pizza with 2 salads and those cannolis The pizza was out of this world the taste and the smoky from the fire burning stove it was like being a kid back in Costa Rica you don't get good pizza like that everyday The salads were amazing crunchy enough flavor and a lot of servings The cannolis they were interesting I thought they would chocolate covering it but still it was good but interesting never tasted something like it before the filling was sweet but savory the bread like roll was interesting Overall I give it 5 stars you could never want a better pizza after this definitely beats the competition read more

I've had their pizza several times, and it's good. The only problem I have is it's just me eating the pizza, so it's not like I can order more than one pizza. Most places let you order different things on half of the pizza. They don't do this at goodfellas. Unfortunately that just mean I have to order from other pizza places. If they had this option, I'd probably order more often than I do, which is only when I have family around. read more

This place is horrible. We order a pizza for delivery they forget to put pepperoni on the pizza. Yea, you read that right. These total clowns forgot to put pepperoni on a f'n pizza!!! I call in, tell them they forgot the pepperoni. Guy tells me to bring the pizza back and wait for a new pizza. What kind of crap is this? I recently ordered from here today, and it came out to $70 for a pizza, a salad (that was way too tiny for the price, honestly kind of laughable), and some wings, all before delivery charges. They forgot the soda we ordered and the side sauce from the order and the food was mediocre and cold for the price they are charging. Ordered a large cheese. It was made on time and it was accurate and the staff was friendly. The pizza. Crust had a light crisp but could have been better. This is typical with a conveyor oven. Decent NY style pie! Called in a phone order, they said it would be ready in 20 min., and it was. Crust was a little chewy with a nice crisp around the edges. Was a little soggy once I got it home though. Sauce was chunky crushed tomatoes, not much seasoning, cheese was gooey, toppings were good. The green chile was not really skinned and lots of seeds. Can I please give this place MORE STARS?! I have never been disappointed with anything from this hidden gem! I just devoured some green chile chicken alfredo and both garlic knots (definitely add these to your order, please). I got the Goodfellas special pizza which comes with 2 slices each of four different toppings. I've also tried the chicken alfredo bacon pizza and it is FIRE, y'all. I'm very happy today! Minutes from home in a former Dominos location, is Goodfellas Pizzaria. They opened today. I'm their second customer. The pizza is delicious! We got a large (16 inch) pizza with pepperoni and red onion. The crust is thin but chewy, perfectly baked, with some crunch on the edges. This pizza had the right amount of sauce, cheese and pepperoni. We could smell the goodness from the moment we were handed the box! Our pizza was ready in the 15 minutes as promised. The staff/owners are friendly and helpful. We got a free cannoli for later. I'm so glad to have really good pizza so close. They have several things that I'm looking forward to trying. read more

Ordered from Goodfellas based off reviews. We ordered and went to go pick it up. This is located where dominos used to be on Osuna by Salt Yard and Monroe's. The pizza was really great. The spice from green chili was great and wasn't too soggy. One thing I do have to say is I wish the crust had some flavor. We also ordered wings and the green chili Alfredo penne. The wings were wonderful. Pasta on the other hand was HUGE but very little sauce. It looked amazing with the chicken and cheese melted on top but underneath it all no sauce just pasta. Overall this place was really good! 3.5-4/5 stars because of the pasta. read more

I feel hungry just as I'm writing this review and thinking about their pizzas and calzones. With easy online ordering and text updates for when my order is ready for pick up, this is one of my new fave places for some delicious, fresh pizza. The pizzas have are super flavorful, and I appreciate that they're generous with toppings and sauce. The crust has a good chew to it, and it doesn't rip up the inside of your mouth (important crust factor for me). I've also tried the Philly cheesesteak calzone, which I devoured all too quickly with grease dripping down my hands. It's also HUGE, so I was able to split it into multiple meals. I have probably frequented Goodfellas about 10 times, mostly through delivery which I utilize GrubHub; however, I do occasional pick-ups too. I have tried their calzones, pizza rolls, pizza, garlic knots, and pizza. Each time, I receive delicious, hot food free of errors. Where they could improve: They often overcook the smaller items (burned to a crisp edges on garlic knots is so common that I stopped ordering them). They also need do a better job pricking the pizza dough, so there are no bubbles in the crust. They sometimes overcook the pizza too. The crust is thinner than what you'd get at Domino's (thicker than Domino's hand-tossed) so it is a little overly crunchy at times but my husband loves it like that, so to each their own on that one! Another thing to improve is the drink selections offered, I'm pretty sure they only offer Diet Pepsi and Pepsi for delivery. Come on man, we need more choices than that! Also: learn how to operate your business better!!! ESPECIALLY During times like these, that means taking pre-orders and NOT TURNING CUSTOMERS AWAY WHO CALL BEFORE 11AM - RIDICULOUS!!!! I have them two stars because they tried, but I will probably never go back. I got a cheese steak. It was about 60% green peppers and 35% onions. Neither one of them was fully cooked. They were both crunchy and practically raw. There was only one tiny piece of cheese on the top and there was something wrong with it, it was opaque looking. I hate to have to change a 5 star review to a 1 star review. But, frankly, these guys deserve it. This is NOT the pizza place I discovered a couple years ago. First, the prices have gone up, MANY TIMES, well before the latest development in Ukraine. Sure, COVID impacted us all. And many, if not most business had to make cost adjustments. However, not in a rampant and haphazardly manner like Goodfellas. They have not only been rocketing their prices throughout the past year, but their quality has gone WAY down. This is a major no-no for any business. Consistency is key. Lowering quality is a great way to lose customers, which is why they have lost me. They have shrunk portion sizes. They have begun watering down their sauce (yes, I am serious). They did away with specials and their loyalty program. Several times across the past year, they shorted me on items. I believe this was intentional (helps them save money). It was always sauces. They shorted me on both pizza sauce for my pizza roll, as well as tzatziki sauce for my Greek sandwich. If your order comes with sides, definitely check everything before leaving. I will be surprised if this place makes it through the end of next year. They really don't deserve your patronage. You can definitely do better. I recommend Richie B's on Montgomery/Louisiana. It's a far better value for the money, and hasn't engaged in price gouging. P.S. Goodfellas won't even take phone orders anymore without paying in advance. This used to be a non issue. Now they tell you they will prep it, but won't actually throw it in the oven until you arrive and pay. Umm...kinda defeats the purpose of phoning an order in, wouldn't you say? The pizza was great itself as far as flavor, that was the only good experience when we walked in there to order. Ordered a 3 topping large pizza. It Was a very poorly made pizza. Toppings as you can see from the picture were slim to none. For the price we paid for it (like $17), you'd think it would have a pile of toppings on the pie. I doubt we'll ever buy pizza here again but I do want to try a couple of the other items on the menu. As someone that was a GM in pizza for 20+ years, this was highly disappointing. I ordered the chicken parm penne. They apparently took it straight out of the fridge and put it into our bag to go. It was literally cold to the touch, so I had to microwave it before I could eat it. It was supposed to come with 2 garlic knots, but they were not in the bag. This was a disappointing meal. We won't be ordering from them again. read more

I drive by this place all the time, today I stopped for lunch. This was a great decision.. Wow. The pizza and wings were fantastic. The sauce they make, don't change anything Goodfellas. This is the first time I've eaten pizza sauce, that didn't have that aftertaste (pizza chains), and didn't give me indigestion. The crust was slightly crispy and not chewey, the way I like. The wings were on point, the portion and sauce was great. I always like to have a 'Local' pizza joint to frequent and order pizza and wings for our Football Sundays. I think I found it. Oh my Goodfellas! This is the best pizza (and salad)! I find that the better pizzas in Albuquerque are located on the edges of town, but this is in the center of it all. This Los Lunas original made its way to the city and I want everyone to know about it! They have awesome daily specials and family meals. Goodfellas just came out with a new location and it's just as incredible as the one in Los Lunas. The decor and Italian mafia is very New York themed which fits in with the vibe and just makes the place shine. I love that they have "Goodfellas" the movie also playing. The food is of course just as incredible as the one in Los Lunas, with their New York style pizza, wings, salads, and subs. So good! It is only takeout this time, mainly because of the design of the place but I like that idea, it's fast and fresh which is great if your in a rush. Can't wait to come back! I was in town for the Greater Southwest Track meet and asked a local for a pizza recommendation. They gave Goodfellas a 5 star rating, so I had to try. My friend and I went for the Philly Calzone, and a calzone we designed. We decided to do a takeout order. WOW! The calzones looked so delicious when we picked them up, and they happily provided us with plates, napkins, pepper seeds and Parmesan cheese. They smelled so good, it was hard not to eat them in the car!! The calzones were delicious, hot and melty, with crispy, chewy crust, just the way a good calzone should be!! Mmm, good pizza! Thin crust, perfect amount of sauce per piece, good quality ingredients. The sauce isn't some bland tomato paste -- it's seasoned and one of the better ones I've had in NM (they even sell extra sides of it!). I had it delivered and it wasn't as crispy as, say, Richie B's, but that just made it easier to fold. Wings had good flavor, but could have been crispier. The side hot buffalo sauce has a different flavor profile than the hot wings I ordered; I liked the sauce separately more. I'm used to NY wings "naked" and fried, but these were still pretty good. I also got a Greek salad. Tons of feta - might wanna scale back a bit, as I found myself tossing a couple chunks away. Dressing is a little on the sweeter side. My son and I went there for lunch today and I was not very impressed with the place. Don't get me wrong the pizza was pretty good and the girl behind the counter tried to make everything ok with what she had. They didn't have any diet drinks at all for those of us that are diabetics or for people that usually drink diet. So I got a regular coke for my son and it wasn't even cold, why have in a refrigerator if it's not going to be cold. So again the girl tried to make up for it and offered us some desert. We asked for cheese cake with strawberry topping but again they didn't have it. Again the pizza was ok and the girl really tried to make it better. Management really needs to step it up and fix some issues there and I bet it would be a much better place. read more
