Hello, I made an order in the app. 2 chicken noodle soups. 1 pick 2 with an autumn squash and a Caesar salad. I waited 45 minutes in the drive through for the food. The person at the window when I pulled up was there for 25 minutes. Don't they ask people to pull around? When I finally got to the window, no one asked if I wanted bread or fruit. When I finally got the food home, there was no bread or fruit in the bag. The Caesar salad was pathetically small. And the soups were cold. read more

How hard is it to get an order right? I put in my order in at 2:30 pm - not a busy time. Set it up for pickup at 3:15. Had to wait in the drive-thru for 15 minutes with one car ahead of me. Get the order, leave the window and stop to check. They entirely left out all the desserts. Went back into the store, stood in line for service, tell the counter girl that I am missing all the desserts. She then has to go consult someone else for several minutes, for what reason I don't know. So - not busy, plenty of time to check the order before to make sure it's right, another 10 minutes of my time wasted waiting to get it right - and a very insincere "sorry about that" eye-roll apology. December 31, 2024. I visited this location for a chicken salad bowl. I did not care for the food, the service, or the ambiance. I looked for a table but most of the tables were visibly unclean. I sat at an unclean table and knocked the debris from my place setting with my sleeve to make a place to rest my hands. When I brought my meal tray to the table I used the included paper napkin, which was wet, to wipe the table. My salad came in a ceramic bowl which was rough to the touch. After I took a few bites of salad, I looked and saw that the roughness was dried food all over the bowl. I showed the the manager the bowl. The manager said, "yeah, the bowls are near the soup and get soup on them, ", as if I should eat from the dirty bowl. I said the soup story does not explain the other food dried on the bowl. I told her most of the tables were dirty. She said, "yeah, we were were pretty for lunch", as if I should accept the dirty table someone else used for their lunch. At that minute, lunch had been over for more than an hour, it was then 3:20 PM. The manager did not offer a solution. Instead she demanded "...what do you want, what do you want me to do? " Other staff were watching and heard the manager, so I was not going to eat anything that they touched. The ambiance was was spoiled. Having no further interest in Panera Bread, I put the salad and bowl down, said to forget it, and walked. It is not for the customer to accept the dirty-bowl salad in a new dish, negotiate with management over the dirty tables, or haggle for a $13.00 refund. I left Panera Bread wondering if that is truly their business model. I waited in the drive-through way too long (about 15 minutes) and when I finally received my order, I pulled away only to find out that I received someone else's order. I turned back around and took the order inside and explained the situation. I was told they would have to remake my order. Before I agreed to them remaking the order, I told the lady that I was in a very big hurry and I asked how long it would take and she said 5 minutes, so I said ok. I sat down and waited for 12 minutes. I approached the counter again and asked her how much longer it would be and she said "oh I did didn't realize they didn't give you the order. I'll get it started now." At this point I was extremely disappointed and running very late to pick up my kid from practice so I just asked for my refund. At no point did she say I'm sorry or seem at all apologetic. I finally received my refund, 45 minutes later and still with no food. I am a sip club member and I love paging to this panera bread because they have a drive thru and the service is very nice. Panera bread also gives great rewards. I come here all the time, but I never tried their souffle before. A lady ahead of me ordered one, and i was curious about it. They only serve it during breakfast hours. Let me tell you, it was the best souffle ever and I am pretty sure they make them fresh every day. I also really enjoy the sip club perks, but I was they had more herbal tea options. My fav is the chocolate chip bagels toasted with cream cheese (chocolate chip is their only bagel with said "chocolate nutrients" throughout..:) Coffee is front and center. I've been a frequent customer of Panera for years. I enjoy their food and always look for a location when I travel to a different city. I recently signed up for their Sip Club. $12.99/month. You are limited to two drinks every 24 hours. As a member, you also get perks like discounts on parties, deserts, and regular menu items. It's a good deal! My membership paid for itself in just over a week. I did visit this location sometimes twice a day as it's convenient. Great deal if you're a daily coffee drinker or love their cold drinks like lemonade, tea, soda, etc. Other than the obvious, their Cafe Light Roast coffee is epic! We'll, at least epic to me. Smooth, no bitterness, fresh, bright, arabica flavor. I pair my Large cup with one sugar packet and I add my own hazelnut creamer. Heaven! Their service is always friendly. They greet me, smile, and are helpful and point out any discounts available to me. The ambiance is great. Clean, orderly, no icky odors, no sticky over-mopped floors, and condiments are always plentiful. Great job! Lastly, I love the parking spaces at this location. There are usually three open spaces right up front next to the entrance. So convenient; easy in, easy out. I'll be a Sip Club member for a long time! read more

The other night my wife and I went to Panera Bread for supper. I had the Mediterranean Bowl with Chicken. I was very surprised. First, it's larger than I thought it would be (good value, in my opinion) and very delicious. I loved it. My wife got the Asian Chicken Salad and 10 veggie soap. Both were wonderful. It was a nice experience. It's a pleasant place to go to and have a private conversation. I recommend you go here when you're out and about, and need to get a quick bite to eat. read more

Cashier talked me out of whole salad because she said it was really big. As I was paying I was prompted by machine (and mentioned by cashier) to enter my tip. My Wife brought this home to me,and I was famished, so I ate half. She said it looked nothing like the picture on the menu. She was correct. We ordered the broccoli cheddar soup, the flavor was there but it was extremely watery. There was no large pieces of broccoli just tiny green broken buds. , Apparently we received bottom of the barrel. They gave us a small piece of bread about a third of what they normally give. I have not been there for a while, things have changed. Disappointed in the soup we received normally it is thicker and creamier, today it was thin and watery with out broccoli and tiny bit of carrots . I also ordered a salad but they were out of some of the ingredients so they left the grains. My mother in-law asked me why do they call this cheddar broccoli soup. We made the mistake of ordering from the wrong store today. We came in and the lady at the front, maybe the manager, greeted us and then pointed out we ordered from the wrong place. She offered to call and cancel our order and make it for us there. We asked if we could just cancel it and she said yes and then said that she would make the whole order for us and it would take no time at all. She and the staff made our order in less than 5minutes and everything came out great. They were busy at the moment and still helped and accommodated our order/mistake. Panera is such a nice place to go and I happen to go a lot. Not only for myself to enjoy their great turkey avocado BLT with a large ice tea but I also talk my best friends after. We go ever Monday, Wednesday and Friday after I pick him up from the Doctors. He always wants to go to Panera. I will tell you we walk in there and the treat him like royalty. He is an older man that you fall in love with the minute you meet him. They see him coming and they run to make him fresh coffee because they know he likes it that way. I really like the food here and the staff at this Panera Bread are friendly every visit. If I were eating food or staff I'd give the place 5 stars. Why 3 stars? Panera insists on using electronic kiosks for taking orders instead of cashiers and they are very annoying. The menu is not intuitive and they freeze frequently when you run the credit card. Then the cashiers (who are always nice) have to step in and fix the problem. Seems simpler just to let me order from a cashier. Again, I like Panera a lot and I would come here more if they would let a human take my order. In the meantime, Jason's Deli is right next door and staffed by people not machines read more

There's free WiFi and lots of outlets, making this a terrific place to get some work done and get your grub on like the righteous multitask-er that you are. I have had many things at Panera in the past - soup (broccoli cheese is the best!), sandwiches, breakfast, and salads. I find that the one item I always order is the chicken frontega - its a panini and it's super good. But, for whatever reason, every once in a while I talk myself into trying something different and I'm usually disappointed. I saw an ad for a Tuscan Chicken Sandwich, it has tomato confit, arugula, Parmesan and provolone cheeses, and basil mayo on toasted ciabatta bread. You had me at basil mayo. You see, there is a similar sandwich shop called Corner Bakery, which we don't have in Albuquerque, and they have a chicken pesto sandwich that is AMAZING so I was thinking of his would be similar. But, I was wrong. First, if I want a salad, I will order a salad. I didn't want one, but I still got enough arugula for one. No one needs that much greens in a sandwich! I want to taste the chicken! I tasted nothing resembling a basil mayo on this sandwich, it was very dry. I will admit, I got it without the tomato confit, so that may be part of it, but I don't like dried up tomatoes. A few actual tomato slices may have helped though. Next time, I'll stick to what I like with my chicken frontega, and maybe some broccoli cheese soup. read more

Yeah, I know. Panera is a chain, and a good one. I have been going to Panera since 2001 when I discovered it in the Columbia Mall in Columbia, MD. I am delighted that a location opened just down the road from my Corrales home. The Chipotle Chicken Panini contains all-natural, antibiotic-free chicken, smoked bacon, smoked cheddar, tomatoes and ancho-chipotle spread on French. Served with a great chocolate chip cookie. The ancho-chipotle spread has a surprising piquancy. The blend of all the ingredients is very good. Excellent sandwich. The Peach Pecan Crunch Muffin is not to be missed. Reduced-fat vanilla muffin with cinnamon and chunks of peaches, topped with our a maple butter pecan granola. The Wild Blueberry scones, overfilled with plump wild blueberries and cream, are very good. We each had a delicious iced latte, which had a strong but not bitter taste. Very good. This place tends to be crowded, but the ordering line moves quickly. On a nice day, eat outside on the patio, and the young staff will bring your food to you. All that being said, there are many places in The Duke City that create far superior sandwiches. Try Delish, several hundred yards away. Or Indigo Crow, just a short drive up the road in corrales. read more

We came here with a $20.00 gift card. What ended up being a $25.00 lunch, consisting of two half sandwiches, two bowls of soup, and two fountain drinks, was very disappointing. The squash soup was sweet, the tomato soup lacked seasoning and my steak, with gristle and sharp cheddar, sandwich, with very little ingredients, tasted of horseradish and pickled red onion only. Man we used to order from here all the time because it's relatively healthy and one of the few places nearby that delivers to Corrales. It's just gone to shit lately. The drive through takes 15 mins even without any cars in the line. Delivery has been running late and half the time there's missing ingredients. The last straw was tonight. Spent $10 on a full side salad that's not even filled halfway with two sad little pieces or chicken and another 4 dollars for a few inches of a half sandwich. Not worth it anymore. My mom and I had a you-pick-2. Back in the day, there was a set price for the you pick 2 and a limited menu from which to pick. Now you can pick from the whole menu, but the prices vary based on what you pick. Um... ok. I went to get water and soda, one of the sodas was "put in wrong" by someone, so it leaked all over my hand no matter how I held the glass. Same thing happened to my mom when she refilled it. The lids for the regular cups were empty. There were no napkins. All in all, someone should've been more attentive to that area. Otherwise, the food was fine. My panini was good (roast turkey and kale) and the salad OK (strawberry poppyseed). My mom stated that the broccoli cheddar soup didn't taste like it normally does. No idea if they changed the recipe at all. It's fine. I might come back in the future, but it's not a place usually on my radar. read more

This was our first visit to the Panera Bread at this location, in fact in the Albuquerque area. Service was excellent. My Smokehouse Turkey Sandwich and French Onion Soup was excellent. My wife's Italian Combo Sandwich and Caesar Salad was also excellent, she said "could not have been better". The facility was not crowded, plenty of seating, but we usually go to lunch after lunch time, about 2 or 3 o'clock. We will return. read more

If I order something once, I assume it will be the same the next time I order it. I had a Mediterranean melt from here several weeks ago that was great -- lots of cheese and bell pepper on a light crispy baguette. This week I ordered the same thing, and was very disappointed. I had to search for the cheese -- it contained only two thin quarter-sized pieces of mozzarella. It was cold, soggy with too much mayo, and full of thick slices of mealy, tasteless tomato. I think they piled the tomato on to make up for the lack of cheese. It was not on a " fresh French baguette" as promised, but thick, rubbery sourdough that puts you in danger of breaking a tooth. When Panera Bread started building their new Westside location, I was excited, because other than the Flying Star/ Satellite franchise, we're a bit short on the bakery spectrum on this end of town. I guess I should stop complaining, because Flying Star has this place beat in spades. Let's go beyond the limited menu and the almost non-existent pastry counter and shoot straight for Panera's heart. The food wasn't good. It was bland and uninspired, and their presentation is a zero. I'm not about to claim that presentation is somehow key to a good eating experience, but the sad and lonely panini that was presented to me on a HUGE plate was a little sad. It looked so lonely without any garnish there, as if declaring I'd be unimpressed in a solemn Eeyore voice... "Here's your panini. I hope you can find it. :( " Let's add the fact that Panera treats you like a criminal if you tell them you want to drink water with your meal. Think you're going to get a normal-sized cup for that, buddy? Think again. At Panera, we want you to thoroughly be annoyed with your meal because you have to refill your sippy cup every few bites. Eeyore: "I guess I'll just choke this bland panini down dry. :( " Needless to say, this was my first and last visit. So disappointing.
