Cute breakfast spot. Prompt courteous service. Lots of pictures of Jimmys on the walls makes a fun atmosphere. I had a breakfast quesadilla which was great. They grilled the tortilla giving it a nice crunch. Sausage eggs and hash browns inside were tasty. Nice salsa to put on it. The green chilli was a little spicy for me but that's personal preference. Hubby got the breakfast enchiladas. Nice plate with red chilli. We both had leftovers. The iced teas they gave us were huge which we appreciate. Highly recommended

What a cute simple breakfast and lunch spot! I loooove all the different Jim and Jimmy's all over the walls! I ordered the southwest eggs benedict and boy they load you up with chile and it is hot! Make sure you are mentally prepared for the heat- I was not! The hollandaise sauce was rich and delicious! My boyfriend got the French dip which was fabulous. I took a few bites of it cuz I couldn't get enough! I wanted a mocha but they don't have any fancy coffees- all good with me, I got a hot chocolate and it came out hot, fast and sooo tasty. I've been burned by mid hot cocoas recently and this made my week!

No matter how busy Jimmy's gets, it's consistently worth the wait. This is the kind of local spot where you find "your order" and never open the menu again, the same staff greets you every time, and the service is always quick, friendly, efficient, and reliable. The atmosphere is quirky, with simple cafe tables surrounded by every type of 'Jimmy' related media you can think of - movie posters, photos, murals, etc. The food is always delicious and fresh, both the red & green chile are excellent (why choose? Order both!) We keep coming back, and we're always glad we did.

Great experience here! I ordered the breakfast enchiladas with chicken and my husband ordered the green chile chicken skillet. Both were delicious! The hashbrowns were great and so was the enchiladas. The service was great, everyone working went out of their way to be kind and accommodating. Would totally recommend this place! My only comment is that the green chile on the enchilada and skillet were pretty spicy, so I feel like there should be s spice warning on the menu!

Ordered 2 huevos rancheros to go while in ABQ for the week and this place was closest to my airbnb. Wow! The green chile was some of the best I have had, with a great kick that leaves you breathing thru ur mouth just a lil bit. Great portion size, and came with tortillas and beans. Order came super fast and hot, packaged well in a sturdy bag w silverware. Will definitely be ordering from here again (and again) during this visit to ABQ! I come here often for family, and have a list of my fav green chile spots in ABQ and this place will be added to my favorites.

Tried this place for the first time and it was delicious. I had the Denver omelet and it was the best I've ever had. They grilled all the veggies and meat that was in there and I could taste the difference. The service was fast and the place was very clean

Gracious good morning on this wonderful Spring Day. Seems that we are drawn back to another one of our favorites with excellent food, efficient service, and an interior with lots of art of the wall that will have you walking around the dining areas to investigate it all. Jimmy's Cafe is one of the best places to grab breakfast or lunch. Jimmy's Cafe is one of our favorite local spots to visit when in town. The atmosphere is casual and inviting. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The food is delicious! So many options to choose from! If you're in the area, check it out! Also, those little empanadas and bizcochos at the checkout counter, amazing!

We had a business meeting up the street and heard raves about Jimmy's. The first thing I noticed was the Jimmy Neutron poster on the wall. We arrived and were immediately seated. After discussing the many options we ordered. My husband went with the breakfast burrito. I order the green Chile chicken skillet. Let me tell you with absolute delight I loved my meal. The Chile was perfectly spicy and the chicken melted in my mouth. It was an amazing balance of flavors. We both got plenty to eat and enjoyed the left overs. Good thing because I would still be dreaming about that savory delight. During our meal it dawned on me that everyone on the wall decor was a James, Jim, or Jimmy. Real or fictional it was fun figuring them out. Definitely will be back.

The parking is a bit crazy, they do have someone trying to help direct traffic through the parking lot. If you don't want to brave that though, there's plenty of street parking. It's busy but there's a lot of indoor and outdoor seating and the turnover pace is pretty good. Things can be a bit loud if you hit the crowded times, but really it's a popular spot for good reason. I got the sweet potato hash and it had the perfect mix of veggies and eggs and was cooked just right. I also tried one of their tea blends and it really hit the spot. The staff is all very friendly and helpful as well and the food comes out quickly. Anyway, great experience as always at the Grove!

It has a modern, bright, aesthetic vibe with marble-style tables, clean decor, and a great atmosphere to sit and hang out. Visually, it checks all the boxes for a trendy brunch spot. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to be helpful and attentive to all guests. Unfortunately, the food and value simply don't match the ambiance. We ordered two straightforward breakfast plates and iced coffees, and the bill came out to around $40--which feels way too expensive for what actually ends up on your plate. The first dish was a basic breakfast sandwich on an English muffin served with a small side ramekin of kale salad. While the presentation was neat, the sandwich itself was fairly standard and underwhelming for the price tag. The second plate was a traditional breakfast layout featuring scrambled eggs, toast, bacon, jam, and the same small kale side. The eggs were cooked fine and the bacon was crisp, but there was nothing unique or memorable about the flavors to justify charging high-end prices for staple breakfast ingredients.  All in all, while the aesthetic and atmosphere are definitely inviting, paying $40 for two plain breakfast plates leaves a sour taste. If you're looking for an impressive food experience to match the high price point, you might end up

The kids are happy, I'm happy, and honestly, that's a successful breakfast in my book. The only downside is the limited seating. It's a smaller location, so it can fill up quickly, especially during the breakfast rush. If you happen to come during a really busy time, you may have to wait a bit to find a table. That said, I don't think it takes away from the experience you just have to time it right. We usually come for breakfast since they're open for breakfast and lunch, and this time I tried the Grande burrito. And let me tell you, "Grande" is not an exaggeration. That is a LOT of food. I got the bacon-smothered burrito with red chile, and it was delicious. Unfortunately, I could not finish it. I do wish there was something between the Grande and Junior because the Grande is a serious commitment, and I'm not sure the Junior would be enough. I'll have to try it next time and find out. My daughter ordered the steak sandwich, which comes with an Angus sirloin steak on Texas toast. It looked a little wild when it came out, but she ate it and said it was delicious, so apparently the presentation was just part of the experience. My son got the sausage, egg and cheese biscuits. He ate the whole thing, so clearly he approved. His only complaint was that the biscuit kept falling apart, but considering he's a little kid, I'm going to blame that one on the user rather than the biscuit. The staff has always been friendly during our visits. On this particular morning, a gentleman came around several times to refill our house coffee, which I always appreciate. Good service and a full coffee cup go a long way. And if you're into pastries and coffee, they have plenty of options. I've tried their blueberry muffin, and it is divine. They also have different baked scones, and I've had their lattes and macchiatos, which have all been really good. I still need to come back during the lunch hours because there are several things I want to try. The hot beef sundae caught my attention, and the Philly also looked really good. There are so many different options that I feel like I could keep coming back and ordering something different every time. This is definitely the kind of place where you can stop in, grab something really good, enjoy a little coffee, and get on with your morning. It's casual, welcoming, and consistently good. Limited seating is really my only complaint. Otherwise, I've been here multiple times and have yet to leave disappointed. Definitely a must-try!

Two minutes later the manager came over to inform us that we were being rude to her server and that she would be taking over our service. For our meal, we ordered two Chicken & Waffles plates, a Blue Corn Lavender Waffle, and a kids' plate. The Chicken & Waffles were the highlight of the meal, offering a satisfying balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Blue Corn Lavender Waffle was a unique touch and a fun way to try something distinctly New Mexican. Neither my wife nor I cared for the drip coffee, so we asked a staff member if we could swap it out for double espressos. They were happy to accommodate us, and the espresso was a significant improvement. The service was friendly, and the staff made a positive first impression from the phone call all the way through our visit. For our family, the total came to about $80, which felt a little steep. We ended up eating inside since the patio tables were either occupied or unavailable (due to a sleeping homeless person). The restaurant is housed in a renovated older home, and they've done a nice job making the most of the space. One of my favorite touches was the collection of retro waffle makers displayed along the walls, which added a fun, nostalgic charm to the atmosphere. Overall, it was a pleasant experience, and I'd happily return to explore more of the menu.

That said there are lots of gluten free options as well, so if that's for you, then don't hesitate to come check it out you won't be disappointed. There is indoor and outdoor seating, though in general the place is small-ish and can get crowded during busy times. Parking is also a bit of an adventure, but so is anywhere in that area. Wait staff: Leo was very good, beverage s came quickly, requests met with a smile. I had a problem with my meal and he saw the problem right away. Food: well, here's the second issue fir me. I had the traditional Benny. I read the good review. The first eggs were hard boiled. I could have made deviled eggs. But Leo got them remade and broght out with very little wait. The kale salad was good and I really liked the pickled onion in it. The potatoes were perfectly cooked and were very tasty. But the main dish, the Benny, was so disappointing. The sauce was on the sweet side and it tasted like sweet cream with no other distinguishing flavors. It was also very thin. I prefer a more traditional flavor, a more flavorful flavor if you will. It was just so bland! If this is their standard benny...well, just disappointed. I usually try a place at least a couple of times and different food but I'm not sure I would bother here as the terrible parking lot, loud interior, and frankly inferior Benny makes me wonder about their other offerings. It's close to home and I really wanted to like it but no. Prices are on the high side but if the food is good that is not a deal breaker. Three stars because of bland Benny and bad parking lot.
