2 flavor Hot pot setup. You get to make your own dipping sauce if you want.

We had the popcorn chicken appetizer and 2 flavor hot pot which we ordered hot. Our hot pot included the mixed veggie plate (which includes everything listed in the veggie section of the menu except enoki mushrooms), enoki mushrooms, shrimp, sliced beef, pork meatball, and glass noodles for each of us. $56. First the food. It was absolutely fabulous. The appetizers were perfectly crispy and the sauce was not overpowering - they let the chicken do the talking. The broth was spicy but a little oily tasting. I was sweating the whole time which was awesome! The veggies, meats and mushrooms all had great flavor. This place was obviously using fresh ingredients. I'm sharing a copy of my bill so you can see that they itemize for things like the sauce/ ice cream bar as well as the cc fee. I like when restaurants do this because it means that they don't make everyone pay for things if they don't want those things. It means that this restaurant is going the extra mile to provide a good value. We were impressed and we'll be back for more awesome food and excellent service!

We've been here twice within a month timeframe. Once like on a Saturday evening and it got busy quick. I would say it's small as the amount of tables their were. I think it's a family own place and it seems like the son was working front of the house and he was very nonchalant about doing things from our observation. It didn't affect our meal though. We also came here on a Sunday as soon as they opened. My girlfriend wanted some warm soup because it's been pretty chilly lately. We were the first people there and it slowly had people trickling in. It was a different atmosphere here than the previous time we were here. I would say it was more professional as it was adults working front of the house. The restaurant itself is not the newest, the interior is a little dated, and the tables were old... But the soups are really good. My girlfriend ordered the Chinese Herb and I got the Taiwanese Sacha both times. I got mine spicy and it was the right amount of heat for me where you got the heat and still flavorful. You can order meats and veggies to put in your soup. You can make you own sauces at the sauce bar. I personally like a lot of garlic, sesame sauce, and green onions. Also a variation using peanut sauce. Both times we were here the soups were really good. I don't think there is another hot pot style like this in the ABQ area. It can get pricy if you keep ordering protein sides. We like it this spot, but coming from the bay area of Cali there are a lot of all you can eat hot pot spots for cheaper if you order a lot of protein and sides. Overall this is a good place to try hot pot. It's not new and fancy, but you'll enjoy the food.

There's certain meals that I can remember where my mouth reflexively waters every time I think of them. Zu Hot Pot is one of them. I'll preface by saying this was my first hot pot experience, but it was so good. If you've never had hot pot, it's an experience. You go up to a station where you can make your own dipping sauces (if you are unexperienced like me they have some handy recipes available). You then take all of your raw ingredients and put them in the broth for a few minutes. The viola! We ordered vegan versions of the chinese herb and kimchi broths, along with a variety of different veggies and tofu. The combination of the braised ingredients, flavorful soups and delicious sauces was a treat. The broth was so good I took leftovers home (which they encourage you to do!). The ambience is cozy, and it's nice to have everyone sitting around a boiling pot dipping and sharing together. Once your meal is done they have free ice cream you can enjoy too! It's too bad that we found this place so close to the end of winter. I imagine this would be even better in chilly weather! This was a great first experience for me and I'm eager to go again.

My friend and I had never had hot pot and had been wanting to try it, so on a blustery March night we made our way here. The helpful and friendly waiter explained the basics to us and we got the Chinese herb broth, added some noodles and an egg, mixed vegetables, and beef. It was fun being able mix our own dipping sauces from the array of condiments and we ended up getting some scallops and enoki mushrooms as well. All the ingredients seemed nice and fresh and tasted good, and it was fun too.

Basically individual tables, each with its own plug in the wall hot plate for the hotpot. We purchased an extensive array of food from ribeye, scallops, vegetable platter, mussels etc. we weren't a fan. Overall pretty bland.

2 different cooking broths. 2 different heat levels.

I was Skeptical when my daughter suggested this place while in a road trip. I had never been to a Hot Pot before. But the food was excellent, the waiter very patient and helpful, and though the ambiance wasn't awesome it was pretty much as expected.

Loved this place! So much food and fun. You must use the sauce bar to add flavor and it was delicious and fun. Get whatever ingredients you like and the servers explain ideal cooking time but it's awesome to cook things to your own preference. It's very DIY your own meal and I love this unique concept in a sea of standard menus. It's very casual and the staff is great. Their tea is also amazing if you like jasmine.

So delicious.... And of course, we love Thomas!

We love Zu Hot Pot. Our daughter introduced us to this place and it's become a favorite. I will say, it's a little pricey, but everything is so fresh and tasty.

The food was SO delicious. The server was absolutely delightful she happily helped us throughout the whole experience teaching us how to do the hotpot, checking in and refilling our drinks, The atmosphere was perfectly peaceful. If you're looking to try a new delicious food this place is definitely worth it!

This was a fun and delicious experience in Albuquerque. We can't find hot pot anywhere near home. Staff was exceptionally friendly and loved the options. Greatly appreciated the "starter" recipes for dipping sauces!

The staff was incredibly attentive and took the time to explain how everything worked and give great recommendations for a first-timer. Watching the pot bubble right at the table made the whole experience feel interactive and cozy. I also tried one of their iced milk teas served in a cute panda cup that said "Enjoy :) Eat Well Live Well," which was just as tasty as it was adorable. The portion sizes were okay for the price. Wish there would have been more noodles served with my dish. Everything from the hot pot to the drinks tasted fresh and flavorful. If you're looking for a fun dining experience with great food, unique touches like robot servers, and excellent service, Tasty Pot is definitely worth checking out.

Some of the portions are a little small but that's okay, it is an AYCE after all! Any dishes we found smaller in portion were just sent in as double orders. Ordering is done on your own as the customer, but if it's your first time it's best to tell the host or hostess, the entire staff is really good about it though "have we been here before?" Or "is this our first time?" Was asked constantly to each new table so it's very easy to get into and start ordering. The music is great, the vibe is more built around groups than ones or twos but it still works. Overall I would definitely come here again as we had a great time! It takes a second to take in the side bar but once you understand it, it's extremely straight forward. Self serve everything and about a 3-5 minute wait on things that need to be restocked. Staff are constantly swarming around to help and deliver food or take plates so it does make it seem VERY lively. Just don't wear hot clothes or jackets, you're going to be warm from the stove tops and eating so much! We got the AYCE KBBQ Premium choice and 2 Asahi 21oz beers for a total of $94. The price is steep but again, it is AYCE so make it worth it, we sure did! Thank you I Grill!

Not only did they not inform us before sitting us down that they will no longer bring out raw meats and veggies and all that 25 mins before closing time; but they also made sure to remind you over and over and over and over and over. The waitress came and shoved the bill to my face whilst I was eating and said I had to pay right now so they can close down. Mind you there were about 20 others in the restaurant. She insisted on us settling the bill right now right now, and got extremely rude, condescending and frankly speaking hostile. I wonder why we were the only table that got treated differently and perhaps unwanted there. If so they should had refused service from the get go. Maybe because we were the only non-white looking people? Who knows. I will never again come back to this horrendous place.

I liked that they offerred a fancy variation of Pho, for example, with seafood and even lobster tail or kobe beef (of course with higher prices to account for these fancy ingredients).
