Called in an order for some chicken noodle soup (2). Shrimp spring rolls. All to go and I live 3 minutes away. The soup broth was very cold but ok I will warm it in the microwave and think nothing of it I guess. It did not stop there when I opened the spring rolls they were like frozen and had just defrosted. The peanut sauce was watery if that was what it was. When buying into the spring roll it was like the rice wrap was soggy and hard. I have never had an issue here before and love the atmosphere but I am not sure I will be going back. If I ever do I will write another review to see if I have the same experience. read more

This Vietnamese place is in a large lot, so parking shouldn't be an issue. I liked that the restaurant is quite clean and the staff spoke clear English. I stopped by one cool afternoon after a busy day earlier that day and wanted something to keep myself a little warm, so Pho was naturally my pick (usually I go for the dry rice noodles/rice dish..but when it's cooler outside..Pho does hit the spot!). I liked that they offerred a fancy variation of Pho, for example, with seafood and even lobster tail or kobe beef (of course with higher prices to account for these fancy ingredients). The broth tasted good and you can opt for beef broth of the other broths they had as well. The only thing that I wished they had was more selection of items on the menu. For example, I would like it more if they offerred avocado smoothie...or even some other Vietnamese dishes like marinated beef wrapped in grape leaves, banh xeo, etc. That said, if you are looking for simple Vietnamese dishes like Banh Mi, Pho, fried rice and/or rice noodle dishes. I love this place I highly recommend coming here I live on the east side I drive all the way to the west just for the bone marrow soup it's super rich and the flavor is beyond delicious and the meat super tender and the staff is incredible kind and very attentive 10/10 would recommend and their chili oil is delicious and has a nice kick.and the service is fast I only wait about 10 minutes maybe less for my food overall a very good experience when I come here it's worth the 20 minute drive for me. read more

Came here for lunch with a recommendation from a coworker... Now I am a fan when it comes to Vietnamese food. I have a few places in town that I frequent. One of my complaints is the lack of options on the westside. So I was pretty excited to be checking out this spot! I went with a vermicelli noodle bowl with pork chop. There were four of us, but our food took and exceptionally long time to arrive. Our coffees on the other hand, arrived quite quickly. Which I was very pleased with. Two iced espresso with condensed milk were ordered, along with one iced Vietnamese special white coffee. The coffees were delightful and certainly started my experience in the right direction. My bowl arrived looking pretty good. There was a healthy serving of pork atop a hefty mound of noodles and shredded lettuce. I poured the sauce over it and mixed it all up. The portions are generous but I was not that impressed with it. The pork chop was cold. Like it was precooked then sliced and placed atop my bowl. The sauce was a little bland, lacking any additional flavor. I'm thinking to try a rice plate next time. But the cold pork didn't do it for me. We had also ordered a bone marrow soup as an appetizer but it never made it out. None the less, lunch with the crew is always a good time. Spices are supposed to be all in a bag to be remove after a certain time so it doesn't overpower the broth. 2.5/5 Overall 3/5 just because of the ambience and service. 7/8/2023. Saturday. Dinner. My wife and I decided to make this spot our date night stop. Our waitress, Alvy, said the joint has been opened for one year. The restaurant is bright and modern inside and the men's bathroom super clean with a cool mirror. When we walked in, there were two other tables occupied. Alvy took our order quickly. I ordered a large bowl of oxtail egg noodle soup ($22) and spring roll appetizer ($6.50). She brought out the spring rolls in five minutes. They had four shrimp each and lots of fresh vegetables. The peanut sauce had a nice vinegar taste to flavor those vegetables. The oxtail soup came out steaming in a metal bowl. Alvy, brought me some small Fiskar scissors to cut the meat off my two oxtails. A nice touch. I can definitely say the large is much bigger that the regular size soup my wife ordered. We added basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos and lime to our soup. That oxtail had some nice fat on the meat and it melted in my mouth. The noodles weren't too soft and filled me up. I recommend adding some Sriracha to their broth. I left the restaurant quite full and satisfied. Really surprised this place wasn't packed with the fresh and quality ingredients they use. We paid $43.64 for a filling, healthy meal. Need to visit this one again. read more

I wanted to like this place, but the experience didn't make that possible. Pho Nho is a fast-casual Vietnamese restaurant in Albuquerque. The wait time for the food was unusually long, especially given we only ordered one 6" Bánh mì apiece. There were five employees for five tables, so staffing wasn't an issue. The Bánh mì we got were the "shredded pork with skin" option. There was less than 1 tablespoon of shredded pork per sandwich. At first, I asked the server if they had dropped off the wrong sandwiches because the only part visible was a slice of lunch meat. I've never seen that on a Bánh mì before. He opened the sandwich and pointed to the remnants of a tiny bit of pork, which I still didn't see until he had gone. It was such a small quantity I thought it was a condiment spread on the bread instead of the featured ingredient. The quality was low quality as well; I've actually made better Bánh mì at home, and I'm a terrible cook when it comes to Asian food. I felt like I had been hoodwinked with a menu that had false advertising. If you're going to give me a lunch meat sandwich, just list that. After dropping off our food, we didn't have anyone check on us for the entirety of the meal, then went up front to close our check. I ran out of water since no one filled it, but by that point I just wanted to go. With the slow service, bad service, poor quality of ingredients, and feeling like I they pulled a bait-and-switch on me with the ingredients, I can't give any more than 1 star for this joint. So I finally made it out to Pho Nho and I gotta say it decent. The restaurant was clean and well lit. I ordered the Large Pho Combo ($18) and it was good. The broth was on point, had lots of meat, the noodle ratio was perfect, and I really enjoyed it. I also ordered the spring roll ($6.50) which was good but nothing special. My only complaint was the prices, they were pretty pricey for the items being offered. I'm not sure if it's normal on that side of town but I don't think I'll be making the 25 min drive again. 6 dollars for a drink without refills is wild, but it is what's it is. Coming all the way here from CA with hubby. Well, nothing beats phở from CA so I don't expect much. Saw a couple of reviews and saw that this place has the most promising bowl of pho out of all the places in Albuquerque so we decided to gave it a try. Overall it's a 3/5 for us. Taste: 4/5 - not the best but not the worst either. The soup is flavorful but I personally found it a bit salty. They also gave u a decent amount of herbs as well. Price: 2/5 - They updated the menu and charged $20 for a large bowl of combination/special pho. You can get an authentic large bowl in CA for about $15. Service: 2/5 - We arrived around 7pm on a Thursday and were hungryyy, and our order takes 30 minutes to come out. It seems like it's a family business and they are a bit understaffed and overwhelmed. I love Vietnamese food so I was excited to find that a new restaurant had opened ten minutes from my house. Pho Nho is located on Coors and Quail just north of I-40 in the strip mall by a pizza place and a couple of chain restaurants. People, go local - you won't be disappointed. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered a six-inch bang mi filled with steamed pork, shredded pork and skin, and Vietnamese ham. It was delicious, filled with tasty pickled veggies, cilantro, and jalapeno slices on a fresh baguette. Just the right size to fill me up. To drink, I enjoyed their salted plum lemonade. The umeboshi in the glass was a nice touch as it infused additional flavor and color into my drink as I sipped. Next time I'll have to try one of their many varieties of pho. read more

Late lunch, close to the house and new place to try. A smaller place with about 12 tables and some counter seating. Got a menu and started with the spring rolls. Served as a pair, with peanut sauce. Loaded with goodies and a few shrimp they were tasty and filling. For the main course it was a large meatball Pho. The noodles were tender, and the added bean sprouts, jalapeño and basil helped add more flavor to an already flavorful dish. The meatballs were tender and moist. Hit up the Pho Nho gang because they have oxtails as an ingredient option for pho. Decor is modern & premises were very clean. Staff was friendly and pleasant. Metal water glasses were distinctive and different. Vietnamese coffee was as expected: super sweet, rich from condensed milk that mellowed out the concentrated coffee taste, and definitely caffeinated. Pho broth was complex & flavorful. Plenty of vegetable matter & rice noodles. Beef oxtail was a good size hunk o' cow, so generous size. But meat itself was pretty much totally devoid of any spicing or flavoring. Just the flavor of roast beef. Outer fat layer didn't add much, if any, complexity or variation to enhance that roast beef flavor. Overall, I will be willing to hit up Pho Nho for repeat visits. Pho shops have been popping up at every corner in albuquerque, and it seems that there isn't a shortage cuz who doesn't love some pho. Tried this new pho spot on albuquerque's west side, near I-40 and Coors! The decor and ambience upon walking in told me this pho shop was not banking on just the goodness of pho but it was clean, bright, modern and inviting! The service was prompt, and helpful. My wife and I settled on some spring rolls and a pho with wavy beef and pho with bone marrow! First the spring rolls were pretty average! They had shrimp and some shredded pork. They were.... Good. Oh I can't forget that we ordered hot jasmine tea, and the tea glasses they used were unique and awesome and fun. Points for that! The pho itself was pretty damn good! I have yet to have a good pho but the option of wagu beef was great! You could taste the difference in the meat, which enhanced the broth! The winner of the day was the bone marrow! Yes, it doesn't sound all that appetizing but the rich, fatty, and salty nature of the meat and broth were amazing! Now, while the food was incredible, the customer service definitely left room for improvement--I'd give that a 2/10. Not the most welcoming experience, but the quality of the food made up for it. The wait staff was very happy, helpful and friendly. On a side note, one staff or perhaps maybe even the owner had their child there and allowed them to sit in the dining area unsupervised. The child looked to be about 4 or 5 years old. She spilled her juice or soup on the floor and made a mess. She proceeded to pick up the food and put it back in the bowl but left all the juice on the floor. She left her cell phone unattended to a Tik Tok video that played repeatedly on a loop with very offensive F words. I watched and observed for a long time as the child walked inside and outside the restaurant unsupervised and making a mess. I understand at times we have to bring our children with us to work but it's best to keep the child in a back office if possible to not be a distraction, and a safety hazard. Also each table had a little basket fully stocked of silverware and chopsticks... for sanitary reasons I would prefer that these were not at the tables. I would suggest the server individually gives each diner what is necessary place setting and utensils for their meals. This was such a good find! They were very generous with the noodles for the pho. The broth was delicious! They gave us each a small bowl of oxtail broth with our meal. Our kiddos devoured it. We also ordered the beef oxtail hot pot and it came with various fried toppings and veggies.
