Came to Pho Garden after a cold & wet outing at the Downtown Grower's Farmer's market. Welcoming service in a fairly empty restaurant. Love the paper lined tables and clean interior. Separated men's and women's restroom at the end of the hall. Hot spring rolls and summer rolls filled with pork, shrimp & iceberg lettuce were brought out quickly. The sauce for the summer rolls was tasty and not the usual peanut butter base sauces. The rare steak and tendon pho hit the spot to warm me up as the snow started to fall. Attentive, but not looming service appreciated. Delicious experience and would return to dine in to try other dishes. Check out the fish tank with an assortment of colorful fish! Why not 5 stars? The small shared parking lot can get crowded especially with the drive thru coffee line. We had to make several spins until a parking spot opened up. Give this local small business a try. There's something for everyone with the extensive menu.

I was craving some Bành Xéo and Pho Garden hit the spot. Parking was a little tricky because you think it shares the same parking lot as Village Inn, but it doesn't. The dining area isn't super big, it was cozy. Everyone was nice. We had shrimp Spring rolls as an appetizer, Còm Tàm, Bánh Xéo. Spring rolls were good and the dipping sauce was more on the hoisin sauce flavor side. I'm use to more of a peanut sauce for my spring rolls. My girlfriend enjoyed the Cóm Tàm, the beef was cooked well. I had the Bánh Xéo and it was just one big one. It didn't come with any greens to wrap it, but the sauce was good. There was a good amount of shrimp and pork in it. It did satisfy my craving. All in all, I'm glad we tried this spot out. Just be aware the price may seem high come pares to other similar restaurants.

We had the grilled shrimp and egg roll vermicelli bowl and the grilled pork Bahn Mi. $24. This was one of the best vermicelli bowls we've had in a long time. If you like the authentic flavors of Vietnamese food you will like this dish! The Bahn Mi is definitely the best in Rio Rancho. What made it really great was that we were given a bottle of their Bahn Mi sauce with our order. That meant if Bahn Mi was too dry then it was my fault! The service and staff were outstanding and we'll definitely be back to try some more items (or maybe just stick to these)!

Delicious food - and great quick service. I return back multiple times a month for a cozy bowl of pho!

Wife and I visited here for dinner, on Saturday, November 26, 2022. Our friendly waitress was Nguyen P. She possessed a wide smile and infectious personality. This place is small and cozy with about ten tables. They have a super large aquarium with lots of fish, which I liked viewing swimming back and forth. I ordered the #49, shrimp and pork Udon noodle bowl ($15.50), which are large, wide noodles. This was because Nguyen informed me they were out of crab. My bowl had lots of spice and generous portions of pork and 5 large shrimp. I added the entire plates of fresh fixings which included basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos and lime. Unfortunately, it was so good, I didn't remember to take a photograph until I was almost done (see attached). My wife had the #55, pork vermicelli noodle bowl ($14.95), which contained small rice noodles. She told me it filled her up and she rated it a four out of five. This establishment makes their food fresh, and everything here is healthy and reasonably priced. If you want good food at great prices give Pho Garden a try.

We've tried to eat here before, but of course it was a Monday and they were closed. So this is a return trip - they're open today. Small place a- 10 tables easily located in a strip mall. There were a few customers eating so there were plenty of places to sit. Meatball Pho looks good to me and Grilled Chicken and Shrimp got the wife's attention. We started with the dumplings and waited a short time for our entrees. The Pho was nice and hot, well seasoned and tasty. Plenty of meatballs to be found and bean sprouts, basil, cilantro and jalapeño let you season to your liking. The grilled chicken and shrimp was hot and well seasoned. The chicken was moist - not over cooked. At the end there was nothing left to take home. Good food and service. This deserves a return visit.

First the bad. Super slow service. Yes there was only one server, but only two tables were seated. They did not honor the discount coupon that popped up when I checked in. They didn't have some of the menu items (said "we don't have that any more). Did not bring out enough spoons for all the bowls of soup. The good. Food was terrific. I had duck & bamboo shoot soup. The duck came in big bony chunks. She provided a duck dipping sauce which was good until later I dumped it into the soup. Then it sucked. So don't dump the duck dipping sauce - just dip. The beef & grape leaf rolls had a strong but I felt delicious flavor. Grandson got the Nam Vang glass noodle soup and the other kids tried his noodles and said his were "the best". However I did see they ate up their pho pretty well. So to sum up - fine food, mediocre service. If you're not easily offended check it out.

First time visit & it was great! We ordered edamame, vegetable pho & beef banh mi. Perfect seasoning, piping hot & we had enough to take home left overs. The space is very clean, creatively & brightly decorated right down to the serving ware & the staff is so friendly & accommodating.

The food is always great here and Services is super friendly. The ambience has been improving specially with the new addition of her fish tank. My go to is always the combination noodle bowl, but the pho is fantastic as well

I was really hungry tonight and I gotta say I was really let down by the portion size of #48, 3 shrimps, beef portion could have been more, and there should have been more rice... especially when you're paying extra for broken rice. Egg was cooked fine, but really would want Vietnamese egg cake... egg roll was good along with the bean curd wrap. Sauce was good, it tasted similar to my mom's style. Overall my rice dish was just a tease because of portion size. My fiancé got the S3 per the usual.. her plate was full of shrimp. My fiancé liked her dish, today I though it a little lacking and there was way too much sauce. Thai iced tea was good. I usually get Pho or Bun Bo Hue and it seems that is what you should get to get your money's worth.. not the rice dishes. Today service was lacking as they seemed a little short handed.. we didn't even get utensils with napkins, we got it ourselves and so did another couple. Food took a little long to come out, again they seemed short handed. We'll still come back, but I'll stick to Bun Bo Hue.

Fish sauce is going to be the grey area because thats always personal preference, it was good, but would say more on the fishy side, which my fiance liked. Im used to my moms sauce which is more on the sweeter side. I also got an Vietnamese iced coffee and I will say it is probably the best Vietnamese ice coffee that I've had in thr ABQ area. Its was strong and nice and smooth. It wasn't too sweet. The reason why I say this is the best iced Vietnamese cofee I've had in ABQ is because other places, the Vietnamese coffee is bitter or its not balanced enough with flavor. At over $8 for a cup, it's pricey but if i need a Vietnamese coffee fix, this will be a good to spot. It's not down to an agreed list of two or three. When you open up the question, you get a dozen or more answers. That situation can mean many or all of several things: (1) Maybe Albuquerque really is VN food heaven; (2) Maybe there is no consensus on what constitutes really good VN food; or (3) Maybe most people pick the first VN restaurant they like and stick with it. I did #3 for years, sticking with Vietnam 200 and Viet Taste. Well, things change -- great restaurants slip and deliver mediocre experiences. Or we just get tired of same old, same old, and want to look around. I began looking around with a trip to Saigon City, an old restaurant in a slick new location in the same strip with Pars Middle Eastern restaurant in 25 Way. I went last night with my daughter and son-in-law, both experienced eaters. I previewed their menu on their website (a good thing when faced with a huge menu). I selected three items I wanted to try. Leaving the Pho for a later trip, I chose to begin with the green mussels stir fried and dished up with spicy veggie bits. There were six on the plate. I had to move quickly to get two of them. What a treat! I could make a meal of a plate of six of these. Next, I went for B3, the code for grilled chicken and veggies over vermicelli noodles with chili sauce. I like my food spicy. After the mussels, my hopes were up. Well, B3 was a very tasty dish. I would order it again anytime. Fresh, fresh, fresh. But pretty mild in the spice category. The chicken was nicely spiced, and there were red flakes in the vermicelli noodles, but not nearly enough of them. I tried my daughter's pork and vermicelli and thought it a bit better. We finished the meal with sicky rice & mango. The menu offers only sticky rice and banana, which is itself a very nice dessert, but our server mentioned that we could have mango instead for slightly higher charge. Since sticky rice with mango in coconut sauce is one of the five greatest desserts in the world, I went for it with gusto. This dish was the only slight stumble in the meal. I thought the rice was a bit underdone and the sauce not too thrilling. Not bad, but not at the standard set by the other dishes. I look forward to returning soon to try the pho. The service was very good, very friendly, and very helpful. I recommend sitting near the front of the restaurant and away from the service area where the staff conduct loud conversations among themselves. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and lighted. I was very comfortable eating at this fine restaurant.
