I'm so glad to see a second local location. This isn't my normal side of town to be on because I live in the northeast side of town. I decided to venture out and visit a buddy of mine on the west's ice we were hungry but didn't want to wait for a table at the nearby restaurants so we came to Cottonwood mall. I've already been to this restaurant franchise before because Coronado center has one there. This location was no different, same great delicious taste! I love those Philly cheesesteaks! They earned my business I love this restaurant, the staff, and even their come back cards! Definitely will be returning to this location and the Coronado!

They said they gave me a receipt but I believe that to be a lie. Looks just like a copy. Threats, lies and no return of my money

Over the years I keep going back, about once a year: I've had their sandwiches, their pastries, their pies . . . all kinda "meh" and all priced pretty reasonably but not inexpensively. Sandwiches give you a lot of everything . . . except flavor. Pastries are . . . fine. Pies are . . . fine, and kinda small (and not inexpensive, maybe reaching towards pricey); it's the kinda thing you are willing to pay for in order to bring it to a gathering, only to find almost no one bothers to eat it. And so you don't bother. The cookies are pretty good, actually. (And, yes, I know Italian delis - my Italian grandparents brought me to them in New York when I was a child. However, I'm not judging Tully's against these (as in "it's not as good as Back East"), I'm just saying it never really turns my crank.) Today I had a hot chicken, cheese, onion and pepper sandwich, the Carmela. It was a lot of food. But . . . not a lot of flavor. A whole lot of drippy mess in the bottom of my basket, though: water absolutely sopped through the (completely unmemorable tasting) bread loaf and pooled at the bottom of my basket as I ate in. The potato salad served alongside was fine - like what you'd get at Albertson's. The chicken was tender and . . . essentially without flavor, not even salt. There had clearly been a little marinade (I could sense some oregano and maybe garlic in there) but man could this thing have used about five times as much seasoning and then a healthy dose of a vinegar/garlic/oregano dressing on top of it. Bland. Lots of food in that $17 (almost $25 with tip) sandwich, but not a lot of enjoyment. I've had other Tully's sandwiches (both for here and to-go) that were better, but I can't really recall any of them . . . and I _never_ rush back. Like I said, this is a place I think about ("Hey, I'm right nearby; I should try Tully's again!") about once a year . . . and then, meh. To be fair - I believe that I am pretty out in left field on this take: Tully's is popular and always hopping. Get here early unless you want to stand in line. I only had to wait about three minutes to order, but by the time I left at noon this Friday there was a line to order all the way from the counter to the door. In terms of the room, it's a deli. Reasonably well set out with a decent amount of seating set out well, as well as some outside seating that you might want to try when it's not in the nineties. You order at the counter, pay, go get your own fountain drink (they also have some beer and wine, which they will serve you), find a seat and they'll bring it to you. When you're done, you bus it yourself. Pleasant staff - I don't regret tipping, although they don't do much. (As others have mentioned, if you get a cup of water, Tully's generously gives you a decent sized Solo cup - another plus.) It's fine. If you go, at least get yourself some cookies - they're pretty good.

I knew this would be good because there was a big group of people from the airbase and that's always a good sign. They seem to make the most out of their lunch time. It was a long line but the counterman handled it with great speed. The guy in front of me comes in to buy sausage and fresh mozzarella to make his own homemade calzones. I chose the full size italian beef and the other sandwich we got was mostly veggies and mozzarella(I can't remember the name). While we waited for the sandwiches we perused the baked goods and the italian market with tons of sauces, frozen foods, cheese and delicious baked goods. The sandwiches were huge and delicious. Even as a big a guy as I am I could have done with the half size, but I did end up eating the second half for dinner. The sandwiches are on soft, delicious hoagie rolls. The italian beef was stuff with beef and gardinera. The juices of the meat and the gardinera leaks into the botoom of your tray and almost makes a french dip like sauce. This place is fantastic!!!

After a morning of planting veggie seeds in the…read moregreenhouse over at the Rio Grande Community Farm I took a break to go seek out the city's most delicious plant-based Philly cheesesteak sub sandwich! It did not disappoint. I instantly flashed back to an experience of eating a Philly cheesesteak sandwich in Philadelphia. I was amazed and the cheese that was melted on it was absolutely the best melted vegan cheese I've tried. The restaurant is a pop-up on fourth Street and it's open on Saturdays from 11 AM to 3 PM. I found her information and location on Instagram. She is at 603 4th Street NW and I believe that's her standard location but please correct me if I'm wrong on that. We had to call the phone number at the front door to have somebody come down and take our order. It might be a good idea to order it in advance but it didn't take very long to order at the door. There's no area currently open for dining outside because of Covid or maybe because it's a pop-up but we brought our food home and enjoyed every single bite of it. On the side we had a kale Caesar salad and a shaved Brussel salad. Of the two I really enjoyed the kale Caesar salad. While visiting the pop-up I learned that Ruby Reds offers subscriptions to meal delivery services. I came home and researched on the website and there are several different options for different vegan meal plans that can be delivered to your door every Sunday. If you order by midnight on Thursday your delivery will come on Sunday so that you have food for the following week! It's a meal prep service and the menu options look mighty incredible. I did some more reading on the website and learned a lot about Dr. Ruby and her amazing work and experience with a plant-based diet. I'm so inspired by her story and all of her work. I also found her YouTube channel called The Veggie Chest and subscribed. I am always looking for new knowledge and motivation on my own personal plant-based journey. I will be back to try the meatball sub! And Dr. Ruby you are incredible! Thank you for contributing this amazing pop up and meal prep service to the community.

Look, you're going to die someday…read more That day will come just a bit sooner if you eat regularly at Big Boss Hotlinks, but oh what a life you will have lived until then! I tried this truck for the first time today, and my doors are blown off and my socks have been knocked off! The lady at the window was super friendly, and not in a fake, awkward way, but in a genuine, "I love everyone" sort of way. Anyway, I ordered 'The Duke' special, which is a lot of stuff I like: beef, hotlinks, caramelized onions, cheese, and green chile on a hoagie roll. She took my money, and I waited, thinking this was probably a mistake. I hadn't heard much about the place, but it seemed like with all those components, some of the weaker ones would bring down the entire sandwich. Boy was I wrong. The beef was beautifully cooked, with just a bit of pink showing, the hotlinks were smokey and delicious, the onions were soft and plentiful, the green chile had heat, and the cheese tied it all together into a beautiful gooey mess on a soft and inviting roll. I needed the extra fork she provided, as I 'got nasty' with it, caring less and less about what proper eating etiquette is, and more and more about getting it into my mouth as soon as possible. I'm not going to lie to you - this is not health food. Not even close. In fact, there really isn't anything I'd consider 'healthy' on the entire menu. If you're looking for something green, you've come to the wrong place. This food truck's menu is a carnivore's paradise, and it's going to cause long-term problems, but you know what? I live in the short term. It's greasy and brown, and just amazing. This would be the ultimate hangover food if I were hung over, which might just be the best compliment I can give the place. I'll definitely return.

The order was out quick, despite the number of people, so they were ready to get things expedited. We ordered the Green Chile Cheeseburger with hot green chile, grilled onions, and a side of crinkle fries. One of the burgers was missing a chunk of the patty. The other burger had a good sized patty. We were quite hungry so we went right in. However, the first bite was disappointing with no flavor. We were waiting for the hot in the green chile, but it never landed. And the grilled onions were quite sparse, also not giving it much more flavor. The crinkle fries were crispy and had some salt. But they did not redeem the meal. Nevertheless, the combo was quite filling. Overall, the food never met the smell that attracted us to this truck or the high cost, leaving us with a full belly but no flavor to speak of.
