By virtue of being at the @coronadomall, and feeling homesick, we popped in for some cheesesteaks. I only managed a bite however, before surrendering to the sobering reminder that I just had my teeth fixed and am still very much in the healing process... (I wish... ended up with a mouthful of blisters - unplanned, but not g unexpected as my system is known for dramatic over-reaction. ) the bite I tasted, however was delicious and I'm looking forward to a redo, in this busy, food court atmosphere . I'm so glad to see a second local location. This isn't my normal side of town to be on because I live in the northeast side of town. I decided to venture out and visit a buddy of mine on the west's ice we were hungry but didn't want to wait for a table at the nearby restaurants so we came to Cottonwood mall. I've already been to this restaurant franchise before because Coronado center has one there. This location was no different, same great delicious taste! I love those Philly cheesesteaks! Just to repeat Dinah A. Business Owner I wish I could give less. I love Charley's and was so excited when they came to Albuquerque unfortunately the last 3 times I went they messed up my order and each time I asked to correct it they were very rude. This time I just immediately asked for my money back and was asked why. Their reply was why do I keep coming. They are right about something finally. The cashier told the manager to handle this before he choked me. Real nice. The receipt does not show a refund. Threats lies and no refund. Thank you Looks like you've replied to a few of these. Doesn't look like you've done anything to help. The suggestion to go to your feedback page is useless. I did leave feedback that day and a week after I got no response and a month later I called the corporate number at 405-810-9906 and yet I get zero response except for your attempt to save face. Love Charley's. It's an American staple. To be honest, I liked the setting of it in the old BX, but to each their own. Charley's is located two spots away from Subway, but it's something a little different. A little more than most sub places, but you're getting good quality here. My dad and I usually get a large classic club to split (turkey, ham, bacon, shredded cheese) and it's more than enough. Fries are thick, delicious, and well-seasoned (One funny memory comes to mind when my dad was trying to clear away the trash and stuffed the napkins and wrapper into his cup. Tonight I had purchased a drink, sandwich and fries. As I stood and waited the guy with shaggy hair, working the prep counter was visibly sick. He was leaning on all surfaces and sitting. He coughed several times right over the prep counter food, directly over where the sandwiches were having the final ingredients added. The mask he wore was below his nose and he did not shield his cough. He told the grill cook that he had chills and didn't feel good. I asked for a refund for the fries and sandwich. Good for an alternative sub place. I like that these subs are hot and made to order right in front of you. The fries are good and ALWAYS hot and fresh. The smothered fries are okay and would be better if they didn't use processed cheese spread stuff. Bacon ranch fries are good. Every Military person on the face of the Earth, within the past decade anyway, knows all about Charleys! They are your Go-To sandwich joint to get your grub on in the food courts of most PX/BXs, though I can't swear by the NXs. Regardless, when I was living on Fort Meade back in 2013 Charleys was responsible for at least an extra five pounds and an inch on my ever growing waistline. What I like about their Phillys is that in addition to the traditional meat and cheese, these guys put lettuce and tomatoes on their sandwiches and a glob of mayo to boot, if you're daring enough, that is. Traditional Philly meat, lots of cheese, bacon and the aforementioned vegetables (Hey, it's now healthy, right?). Charleys Philly Steaks is the picture perfect 3 star operation. The free samples at the mall really reeled us in. The menu looked good and the sides looked great. We got a #1, #3, Ultimate Fries, and a Strawberry Lemonade. The meal rankings go 1. Strawberry Lemonade 2. Fries 3. sandwiches. That's a little backwards since it's a sandwich joint. Either way the sandwiches did their job but they didn't change my life or really leave an impact enough for me to crave it. I can't say the same for a large strawberry lemonade. I try the Philly at every restaurant I visit in Albuquerque if they offer one, and I've yet to find one as tasty as Charley's. I love getting a philly steak from this place. It can be hit or miss on the quality of service (speed), but if there is not a horrendous line, it is worth the wait. I always get a regular steak with only onions, buffalo sauce, ranch and banana peppers. Delicious! It is making my mouth water thinking about it. Juicy meat, not dry. Ooo-y-gooey, melty cheese. I feel they are more on the pricey end, but that doesn't stop me! Tip: Get the regular size. The small and large are not enough meat/cheese proportion for the bread. You definitely get the most meat/cheese proportion with the regular size bread option. Tip #2: Get there right at 11 for lunch to beat the rush. I have to say that I ordered my dinner from Charleys and I had never tried it before today. Now just to put things into perspective. I almost never have anything good to say about restaurants at this point. So with that being said. Today I tried it for the first time and I ordered 2 subs( I'm a big man). I ordered the steak and cheese sub and a chicken sub. They arrived 30 minutes early. This never happens for me! Ok so this may not be a true "Philly cheesesteak" style sandwich place but is is definitely good! The veggies are fresh and not cooked into the meat and the meat is not quite chopped but more sliced. It is still delicious and they provide a stamp card that gets you a freebie after a certain number of stamps. For the price and convenience this place is a winner. Portion sizes are also more reasonable and it allows you to make a slightly healthier choice. read more

I like that they use 100% usda choice steak,100% all white meat chicken breast and fresh deli meats. I get the philly steak most time but have tried other sandwiches and never had a bad meal here.
