I walked in looking to be seated, not realizing right away that you order at the counter first. The cashier was nice and helpful. I came in carrying a bottle of water--after paying, I realized he'd charged me for it. Instead of making a fuss, I just grabbed a cold one from the beverage cooler and rolled with it. It took about 15 minutes before my name was called to pick up my order. I went with the pancake breakfast--three pancakes with fruit, an egg, and your choice of meat (bacon, ham, or...bologna--which feels like a bold, questionable life choice, but I digress). The food was good except it wasn't hot--more like lukewarm-ish. That surprised me since I grabbed it right when my name was called. Maybe it sat while my colleague's order caught up? Who knows. Overall: good atmosphere, decent food. Walking out, tho, my immediate thought was wondering why My Mom's ranks so high in Yelp recommendations. It wasn't bad by any stretch--but it also wasn't memorable or somewhere I'd revisit on another trip to ALBQ.

They do have plenty of parking, but not knowing that we found street parking a few streets up. It's a walkable area though so that wasn't a problem Ambiance/ seating: The place is very laid back. Your order when you come in and the hostess gave us some good recommendations. There are several 2-4 top tables and it was open seating You do have to bus your own table but that's no problem Food: I had one of the bowl options and it was delicious ! It seemed like the perfect amount of food but was honestly so filling I couldn't finish it . It was perfect to give us energy to explore the area

I haven't been inside, but I tried their take-out. The wings were okay. It honestly didn't stand out bc it tasted like the sweet Asian chili sauce in a bottle. The crisp from the wings didn't look "double fried," which Korean chicken wings are known for. The cucumber kimchi ($3) looked a little different than traditional cucumber kimchi, but still tasty and spicy. Their cabbage and radish kimchi had a nice kick to as well, and I liked the extra ginger note. The 2 Korean tacos ($8.95) can be mix and match, so I got the Bulgogi beef and Spicy Pork. The presentation was lovely and they tasted good. There was a lot of meat and paired well with kimchi. In the future, I'll have a side rice. Overall, I recommend, but wished they would add mandoo or fried dumplings as an appetizer.

First on service - I ordered carry out, and the woman who took my order over the phone was extremely kind. She also was the one who helped me once I arrived to pick up my food, and she was just as kind in person. It truly seemed like the entire staff was very customer centric. Food - holy cow it was great! I had the sixty six burger with the hatch chilis, and it was a phenomenal burger. Highly recommend upgrading to the truffle fries, worth the extra two bucks!! If I lived here I know I would be a regular and ensure I tried out the entire menu!

We went in on a Friday evening right at 5 to avoid any dinner rush. We were seated immediately and…read morebrought water right away. We planned to split some small app's and one entree. We went with the Korean Chicken bites, the Margarita Flatbread, & the green chilli cheeseburger. The Chicken bites were terrible. Taste wasn't great at all, they were very very fried, but not in a good way. I love some good crunchy fried chicken but these just were not it! The flavor, the texture, none of it was right. The Margarita Flatbread was med. Taste was pretty good, but it was soggy and didn't hold up well at all. That said it was the best of the 3 things we did get. Unfortunately, that's not saying much..... The burger was okay also. Not bad by any means, but nothing special at all either....considering there's a burger place next door I thought the burger would be able to compete with the neighbor, but trust me if you want a burger, go next door! They don't put sauce on it at all, no nothing. Just straight up patty, cheese and bun. Only my 6 year old cousin eats like that.....I did add some mayo and ketchup, which helped, but still not a great burger.... The bun didn't add much for us either, even though it was baked in house with green chilli....A simple brioche would be better imo... The fries with the burger were actually the best single item of the experience. Their fries are really good! So good that I was going to eat every single one of them but instead my waiter just came and took my plate before I had finished the last 10 or so. No are you finished yet, or anything, just grabbed it, turned and left. I was so shocked I didn't even have time to say I'm not done with that. He left the crummy chicken bites we weren't eating though..... LOL Seriously don't touch my plate unless it's empty, or you ask first! Since it was a small amount I let it slide and didn't reduce his tip because the rest of the service was actually pretty good overall..... I definitely 100% will not be back here though, there's much better food in the area.

We were staying in a motel down the street and got up the next morning and backtracked to come visit and get some burritos after looking on yelp and hearing how great they were. So I was prepared for it to look like a house and maybe to have a problem parking, but there was NO problem parking in fact I was able to park right out front on the street. There is actually a parking lot across the street too, so I don't see what the issue would be parking here. We intended on ordering a few breakfast burritos and take them along with us for the road, but it smelled so good in here and the music was great as well as the company, so we decided to at least sit down and taste our burritos before heading on our way. Turns out it was too hard for my husband to stop so he finished his and ordered another to go for later. Everything is hot and fresh. The eggs are cracked and cooked right after you order they have more than just breakfast burritos here and I imagine everything would be just as great. We definitely know where to go when we come back to town. If you are looking for a nice hot breakfast with some very friendly people this is your place. The owners are so friendly and I didn't even mention how reasonably priced they are. This is something that you usually don't see. I see that they are close to the courthouse. I would imagine serving jury duty here would be awesome! I would be coming here every day and trying everything on the menu at lunch. If you are anywhere nearby or even if you're just driving through town on route 66 take a detour and come find them it will be well worth it!
