OK, I have to think my Yelp family for finding the absolute best breakfast burritos, and all of Albuquerque!!! They are conveniently located an easy to get to. We were staying in a motel down the street and got up the next morning and backtracked to come visit and get some burritos after looking on yelp and hearing how great they were. So I was prepared for it to look like a house and maybe to have a problem parking, but there was NO problem parking in fact I was able to park right out front on the street. There is actually a parking lot across the street too, so I don't see what the issue would be parking here. We intended on ordering a few breakfast burritos and take them along with us for the road, but it smelled so good in here and the music was great as well as the company, so we decided to at least sit down and taste our burritos before heading on our way. Turns out it was too hard for my husband to stop so he finished his and ordered another to go for later. Everything is hot and fresh. The eggs are cracked and cooked right after you order they have more than just breakfast burritos here and I imagine everything would be just as great. We definitely know where to go when we come back to town. If you are looking for a nice hot breakfast with some very friendly people this is your place. The owners are so friendly and I didn't even mention how reasonably priced they are. This is something that you usually don't see. I see that they are close to the courthouse. I would imagine serving jury duty here would be awesome! I would be coming here every day and trying everything on the menu at lunch. If you are anywhere nearby or even if you're just driving through town on route 66 take a detour and come find them it will be well worth it! read more

Super friendly service. They have AC. Food is delicious and appropriately priced. Tables and bathrooms were a little grimey but considering this is a hole in the wall mom and pop shop, it wasn't too bad. My only gripe is that they served it with a plastic fork and the food kept falling off from the oil. I wanted more in each bite! It was yummy. read more

This place is special. Upon walking in you are arrested by kind service. This place voiding be any better. The food is A+. The chile is all made in house. Everything is cooked just right with the correct simple ingredients. A diamond in the rough and the best chile I've had in New Mexico, my home state. I keep forgetting to take photos of my breakfast burritos here cause I'm too darned excited to devour them. IMO, one of the best breakfast burrito places in the city! They're not as gimongous as Stripes, but they are cheaper. They're more filling and a tastier than Golden Pride. I forget what other places I've tried... but that's because I LOVE Papa Frank's so much. I haven't sat down to eat here, so can't comment on that. But the service is always fast and great. The lady at the front is super duper friendly. Interior looks very clean but again, I haven't sat down to really experience it. The exterior is a little deceptive, almost looks like a regular home. I was very impressed with everything, the food was like your grandma made it with love, the ordering process was quick and easy and the price was unbeatable! Don't let the secret out. My first visit to this business was at noon on August 19th. I was in the mood for light lunch. Parking is a bit tricky here, but with a little looking around found a space fairly close. A small, cozy place, with friendly staff. Very clean, unpretentious decor. I dined in with a nice bowl of beans with chili and cheese. I noticed that about 50% of the customers were greeted by name; indicating to me that there is a deservedly loyal clientele. I will return to try other menu items; for now I got a distinct feeling of New Mexico comfort food. Prices are low (shhhhhh). Also, please note that the cook and kitchen are in full view, and the chef said thanks to me as I left. I always like being able to see the kitchen. A lovely, small family-owned business in the downtown area that serves food ready to go by 5:30 am. Their specialty are breakfast burritos, but they have other things as well. We arrived just before closing and they had been slammed at breakfast so were out of tortillas. They were super apologetic and offered to make us shredded beef burrito bowls instead. Love this cute little place! This is the reason I love yelp. Small, local places with affordable, delicious food! I don't particularly love going downtown mostly due to parking. Immediately in front of the restaurant is a 15min loading great for takeout but just down the street is free street parking. Their menu prices are unfortunately difficult to see, but wow their breakfast burrito is only $3.75! Even fast food chains can't go that low. The staff is very kind, the woman who greeted me was very nice, and in the very short time I waited for my burrito knew multiple customers by first name, I was impressed. Went with the bacon green chile breakfast burrito, one of the best breakfast burritos I've had, and I've had MANY breakfast burritos. Nice amount of heat, not too much potatoes (ratio is key), and they use real eggs - you can tell while eating it. None of that liquid egg crap. Real cheese to boot, and for a few bucks, it's win win win! They do have a lunch menu, I'll keep coming back for more! Come try this local hot spot that made the top 100 list! read more

Hmmm, small place just another hole in the wall, family operated biz. Nice and modern inside with very few tables. We ordered Huevos Rancheros & the Breakfast Plate with bacon & green chile at the counter. My coffee came from a small coffee maker - self serve. But it was hot & fresh. Our food was delivered and dining began. The huevos rancheros came with 2 over easy eggs done perfectly. The beans were whole - not refried. Everything was covered with melted cheese. The breakfast bowl came with scrambled eggs, not overdone, potatoes, bacon and of course the green chiles. It was also covered with cheese. Both meals were well made, flavorful and filling. You can tell the difference between this food and something from a high customer turnover restaurant. Small is just better. I was surprised that there were only 54 reviews for a biz that has been around 23+ years. But they were doing a brisk business in to-go orders, filling many in the short time we were there. The difference between this spot and other spots is other spots just use papas as a cheap filler...not here though. You get a little of everything in every bite. Fresh thick bacon, well seasoned papas that aren't greasy, egg, cheese and the green chili with a nice touch of spice but not overwhelming.
