I had a really great time at My mom's. I ordered their carnitas tacos and lemonade. You order at the counter and the person who took my order was so warm and sweet! It got busy while I was there so it's a popular spot. Really cute ambiance! Would recommend for a quick bite.

I won't forget the surprising juxtapositions of the Bowl of Love, or the friendly vibes, including when my internal monologue about decoding restaurant menus went external. The red chile is a standout on its own; there's heat but much more than that. The Bowl of Love in which it appears is a structural wonder. Not sure how they do it but presumably science is involved. The other components - fideo, beans and squash - should be sampled on their own at first but at some point blending is inevitable. This is the kind of place where I perhaps spend too long staring at everyone else's plates.

They are located in the ground floor of office building right across from police station. They did a great job decorating the place and you can pick your table based on which flower painting you like. Food was spot on. Would happily revisit them to try more. We had breakfast.

First time in New Mexico? Then there's a simple stop for you to make to get all you need from local cuisine. My Mom's does everything right: the service was kind and quick, the reputation is amazing and the food was very local and authentic. The Green Chile in the bowl was some of the best I've had and the enchilada dish was very cool, lots of flavor with the egg being a nice touch. The owner, Carla was working inside and greeted everyone that came in, many on a first name basis. People of all sorts came in while I was sitting down and I thought that was great, this really seems to be a spot that is loved in this city.

After judging a goat show for the Bernalillo county 4H we decided to try My Moms for brunch. We have wanted to try it for a while. We were greeted right away by a real nice lady and told to look at a menu before ordering at the counter. Lunch started at 10:45 and we were a little early for it, but wanted to try the breakfast. My husband ordered the Big mama biscuit with sausage. It had a green chile gravy that had a tasty flavor. It was not spicy but but he said it was delicious. I ordered the Huevona's Rancheras with red chile. Mine was very flavorful but not spicy at all. We will definetly be back. Prices were very reasonable.

My first visit to this establishment was on May 27, 2025. Is it a nice location downtown with adequate nearby on street parking. The outside signage is a little bit subtle, and you may have a hard time finding it on your first visit. But once you find it, you'll be glad you did and you will be back. I guarantee it. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There's good natural light. The decor is colorful and interesting with lots of creative painting on the table tops. The menu features comfort food with lots of nice choices. I had a tuna salad sandwich and my friend had green chili stew. The sandwich was absolutely delightful. Soft bread with a nice taste to the tuna itself. Prices are very reasonable.

Absolutely one of my favorite lunch spots downtown, it can be a little hard to find but definitely worth it. They have a great selection of different sandwiches and breakfast offerings. My go to is definitely the Ruben which is a favorite from back in the day when they had a different restaurant. In addition to the more savory bites, they always have a good selection of baked goods. Usually just a cake or two, but they're always great.

The best biscuits and gravy I've ever had! This place is so good, great flavor and service. I highly suggest to give it a try!

New place in downtown Albuquerque just opened in 2022. Hard to find unless you are looking for it. At the bottom of an office building, with no big signage. Big open area with large windows floor to ceiling. You order at the counter, paying for the meal, and tipping, ahead of time. Customer picks up the utensils, gets plastic cup for filling with water and ice, and come back to the counter to get their plates of food. Wife's $10.50 red enchilada was a big portion of cheese enchilada covered with red chili sauce, and an egg. Passed with flying colors, something not easy considering she lived in Santa Fe for 18 years. My $10 lazy tacos came with ground beef, shredded cheese, and red chili sauce. Very spicy. Like a beef patty cut into half for each of the two tacos. The tortilla was fabulous in texture and taste. After you are done, you have to bus your trays. The only thing they don't have you do is wipe off the table with a cleaning cloth, which is the only thing done by the waiter. 20% tip to wipe off the table?

We found it! After a couple of trips downtown we figured out where it is. Of course the recent window sign painting helped. Lunch rush in progress but not so busy that we had to wait to sit. Order at the counter - NM Patty Melt for me and the Flauta Plate for the Mrs. The Patty Melt was tasty, plenty of cheese, onions & green chile. The Flautas came 4 to the plate. It was topped with pico de gallo, crema, salsa & guac on the side. It was equally tasty. Both registered on the moderate side of heat. The flautas a little more so. Prices were reasonable about $11 each. Parking is an adventure. It's downtown so when you find it it's either metered or private lot. If you end up in the downtown area this would be a good place for lunch(or breakfast)

Fun atmosphere and friendly people plus great breakfast combine to make this a five star spot. I've had the sausage Ramona burrito and the carnitas with fried egg breakfast burrito and they were both great. Good coffee too!

It's difficult to find good restaurants that can cater to young adults and have REALLY good food and service. We came first on Sunday for brunch. The food was very good. It was a bit small on the portions though. We had breakfast enchiladas and omelet and blue corn pancakes. Then we came back for dinner. The chicken mole was divine, tacos, sea bass, pork steak etc. absolutely perfect. Good portions. Food tastes like it was homemade. The cuisine is Mexican...not New Mexican. The server was great about answering any questions and willing to omit something if possible. Our server was attentive and so gracious. The wine list was surprisingly good. We had a French Viognier for less than $50. Finally the owner came out to talk to us and thanks us for coming. I'm in the business and haven't had this kind of service for a long time. Our son with Celiac was very satisfied, but also we all were. I would absolutely come back regardless of food restrictions. Please go!!

The property seems massive and it's really beautiful with all the cottonwood trees. When you get into the restaurant, there are just tons of combinations of these cozy little nooks, long dining tables, separated rooms, patio seating, and event spaces. They even raise cattle and chickens on property and source from their own greenhouse for their menu items. The ambience was just really cool and even though the winds were blowing like crazy, we were totally comfortable out in the patio section with the screens up. The food is authentic New Mexican cuisine. They brought out delicious tortilla chips for us to snack on while we decided on what to order. It really felt like there was no wrong choice to make. They were very accommodating for food allergies and restrictions. There was great flavor in everything our group tried. I split the half order of chicken nachos and it was a hefty half order! I was so stuffed, but then, hot sopapillas appeared and I couldn't say no to those! Especially not since the tables had their own sourced honey. There is also a full tequila bar, but since we were traveling with kids, didn't get to take too much advantage of that as an option.
