I ordered a deep fried red chili, bean and cheese burrito smothered and we also ordered a deep fried green chili beef burrito smothered, and it was absolutely delicious! it's a cute little restaurant and very clean, but the food was delicious. My grandchildren had hamburgers and they were really good and so were the french fries. The Service was awesome very friendly everyone! Our drive out to Tome and back was not without a stop to Benny's. This little gem in the heart of Valencia County has authentic NM food. You order at counter and can sit and eat there or take your food to go. We usually stop for a dozen breakfast burritos of different carpets for our meetings. All delicious and made to order. Today we ate table side and I had the huecos rancheros and my colleague had a juicy burger. The chili had just enough heat in both menu items. My eggs were cooked just like I prefer and enough red chili to cover both the potatoes and the eggs. The plates were generous and the atmosphere was clean and inviting. I know we will be back! Had the pleasure of dining here as my husband and I heard so much about. It was a cute place and the inside was very nice as well. We ordered at the front and when it was done we had our food delivered and the people there are so nice and friendly. I have to say I love hamburgers and this place has one of the best burgers I have had. I recommend getting a double so that you can enjoy the seasoned meat and it is very juicy. This is a fantastic hole in the wall in the heart of Bosque Farms. A childhood favorite that hasn't lost a step! They are known for the Benny Burger and curly fries but I highly recommend the beef and bean smothered burrito (and smother with green chile). The combo plate is amazing as well. The nostalgia in this place is irreplaceable. The baseball sponsor pictures from Yucca Little League in the 80s and 90s take you to a time way back. Highly recommend, 5 stars!! I haven't been to the original Bennys in several years and woke up today thinking about going there, so I went. Breakfast and lunch menus are not served all day, so that's important to know. The chips and salsa were fresh and delicious. My hamburger was delicious but, it seems to me as though they have shrunk! Not a very large burger and I ordered the large combo. My kid had the regular combo and it was pretty small. They were delicious but small. I only ate a few bites of the red chile because it didn't seem blended well and that hurts later on if you know what I mean. It was tasty and hot though. The prices were very reasonable and the service was good. I'll be back someday... read more

Worst customer service ever took me and my family to go eat here didn't close for another 30 minutes walked up to the register the lady asked me what I would like to eat she said dine in or take out I told her Diane I turned around and asked my daughter she is for what she wanted to eat she responded by telling me that she wanted a grilled cheese I told the cashier lady that my daughter would like a grilled cheese she said okay press the button on the kiosk then turned around and asked the cook if we had grilled cheese the cook turned around then told the cashier we don't have any my response is you don't have any cheese or bread the cook was being lazy didn't want to make my 4 year old a grilled cheese so I bought her a corn dog instead then she proceeded to ask me what I wanted to eat I told her for tacos she said okay then turned around ask the cook do we have any more tacos made the cook turned around and said I only have three made that's all I have left what kind of restaurant prepares their food before anybody even orders the food so I guess they are preparing tacos leaving them in the pan until somebody orders it is not fresh to order it is already made and sitting there come to find out if so is the grilled cheese it's already made in the morning then we warned when somebody orders it this restaurant is so dirty and disgusting inside I don't know how the health department hasn't shut them down the walls are so dirty they're not even White the floor is so dirty I don't know if it's black or white there's always food all over the floor the bathrooms are so disgusting you can't even use them you need a condom to put over your whole body just to use the bathroom this restaurant is family owned and run by family if this is the way they keep their restaurant I could imagine their houses this is the last time I'll ever come back here and if the owner or manager is reading this The Old Man and old lady that walked in 5 minutes after you closed are from the church you told him the grill was already shut down but it was still on and you were still cooking as he walked out the door here in offer to give you a big tip if you were just to make him his Burger what's the point in living in a small town if nobody's going to get along and treat people with respect read more

We had 1 double meat large cheese burger, 3 regular cheese burgers, all combo meals, a fried bean and cheese burrito, an order of taquitos with guacamole, 3 iced teas. Service was good considering that they were busy and only had drive thru open since Covid-19 caused restrictions. Definition a 3-star experience. The green chile cheeseburger was edible but uninspired. The meat was nothing special, the bun generic, and the toppings fast-food grade. Fries were generic frozen commercial grade, not homemade. And they gave no warning about the almost hour-long wait. There were a handful of customers standing around in displeasure, as nobody was warned or notified of the wait. This is my first time at Benny's and I got takeout. The Benny's Burger is amazing! I got the single burger not the full two patty, but next time think I will get the whole thing! The single patty comes with spicy green chilling guacamole and it's perfectly satisfying. Their french fries are the kind that havw a light batter around them and are delicious! My companion ordered a ground beef and cheese fried burrito. And it was fantastic. This is the place I definitely cannot wait to go back to and explore the menu. I was too hungry to remember to take a photo of the food. But did get a photo of the menu. Also, the service was incredibly friendly and also fast. I love the King Benny Combo! Probably one of the best, if not the best green chile cheeseburger in New Mexico. I am not quite sure why Benny's never made GCCB trail, but then again, these are the same folks that added Blake's Lotaburger. Anyway, if you haven't been to Benny's...go. Try the authentic Benny Burger and if you are super hungry, add a deep fried bean and cheese burrito with red chile. I have tried the carne adovada, and that is pretty good too, but honestly, the Benny Burger or the deep fried burrito are their staple items. They are closed on Sunday's and Monday's and close pretty early on their normal days. Also, please be advised that on and/or one day prior to any holiday, special occasion, super bowl, day before and after Thanksgiving including the Thanksgiving weekend, or just whenever they feel like it, they are prone to close super early. I mean super early - like 11:30 AM. This can be frustrated for those of us that drive from out of town just to eat here. Especially when they literally see you drive up at 11:31 and close the door and put up the sign that says "Today we close at 11:30." I suppose they can afford to get with that. Who knows. Anyway, despite those slight downfalls, their food is great and if you happen to try it, you will not be disappointed. read more

A few years back (5+) I discovered this gem, great burger, superb fries, great value! I was a very infrequent customer, for I live up north from this place. Yesterday, I drove down to share with a friend what I thought would be another great meal. Whoops! Things have changed: Smaller bun, very ugly in appearance, flavor diluted--bland to say the least! Not since Covid had I tried this joint. Even the fries were frosted with oily fat cells. I will save the gas money, seek a local Albuquerque place, yet wish Bennie's the best in their new (mediocre, overly expensive Bennie's burger combo) quest to stay in business...bye bye. read more

I have been eating at Benny's for about 35 years. Food is good, but phone service is terrible. I called and it rang and rang and rang. Then someone answered and hung up. I tried calling back, then the phone was busy for about 5 minutes. One last time I called back, I was asked to hold, I said ok, I could hear all the conversations. I was on hold for about 5 minutes. We were there at 11 am Sunday, right at opening. The service was excellent, the man that took our order was very helpful and accommodating. We ordered a Benny Burger and a chicken burrito. The patties were thin, over cooked and dry. The chicken in the burrito was bland. However the French fries were delicious and perfectly cooked--crispy outside, tender inside. This is clearly a local, small town favorite but the food did not seem to live up to the awards on the wall. If I'm ever back in Bosque Farms, I might be willing to try them again but maybe not as the first customers of the day. read more

The lady said "everything is delicious." The taco plate was so bland. What a disappointment. This place is always busy and we went out of our way to give it a shot. But honestly Taco Bell would have been better. Thank goodness we split a Benny's burger which had double flat patties. I could not say enough about the great food, BUT we have driven all the way from Alb. to Los Lunas on 3 different Saturdays just to find that the restaurant was closed because they were cooking for a party or something. Eating here for 20+ years has always been a great experience.....until tonight. While calling in my order the lady on the phone kept saying "is that it" after each word I said not giving me time to complete my order. It was frustrating and rude. To top it off the same lady handed us our food from the pick up window with out even saying hello or thank you. She basically took our money and shut the window. This is a mom and pop joint that's been around forever. The Benny burger is one of the best burgers around! The frito pie here is delicious, but the chile is flaming hot so beware. Their fried burritos are delish, I prefer the bean and cheese myself- perfect level of cheese to bean ratio. The milkshakes are thick and creamy, and the prices for everything are awesome.
